Anwar Al-Awlaki in Full Audio Clip Titled 'A Call To Jihad' |
Last week, the MEMRI Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM) reported on the release of a new audio excerpt from radical Yemeni-American sheikh Anwar Al-Awlaki, in which he addressed American Muslims and called for jihad against America. The MEMRI JTTM also reported that the clip appeared to be an excerpt from a larger original.
Al-Awlaki previously acknowledged contacts between himself and the two latest jihadist attackers in the U.S. – Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan and would-be Christmas Day airplane bomber Umar Farouq Abdulmutallab.
