Action—Respond to Consultation

CCFON & CLC Response to the Sex & Relationships Education (SRE) Guidance Consultation

Please consider supporting our response and/or drafting your own response.

Please pray this Draft Guidance is not implemented in schools.  At CCFON we were delighted that the dangers on these issues did not come in through the Children, Schools and Families Bill.  It would be a great shame if the dangers we feared came in through the back door—through this Guidance.

The closing date is 19th April 2010.  Responses can be sent by e-mail to: SREGuidance.CONSULTATION@dcsf.gsi.gov.uk.  Please make the subject heading “SRE Guidance Consultation”.  Please feel free to use the ideas in our main questionnaire response and/or executive summary. You can also use our bullet point summary, which you can be downloaded by clicking here.

Election 2010

Over 23,000 people have now signed the Westminster 2010 Declaration. This is a very important opportunity to press home some of the issues that are important to Christian voters. We’d love to have 100,000 signatories before the general election.
