The following excerpts are from a show by Egyptian cleric Safwat Higazi, which aired on Al-Nas TV on March 14, 2010.

Safwat Higazi: I wanted to say to our Palestinian brothers, in Hamas, in Fatah, in the Al-Qassam Brigades, the Al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad, to all the mujahideen in Palestine: To this day, I have not seen Hamas avenge the killing of Ahmad Yassin. To this day, I have not seen anyone avenge the killing of Al-Rantisi. To this day, I have not seen anyone avenge the killing of Sallah Shehada. To this day, I have not seen anyone avenge the killing of Yahya 'Ayyash. Now, Al-Mabhouh has joined the list, and we haven't seen anyone avenge his killing either.

Where is the Jihad? Jihad is not merely firing a missile. Jihad is not merely throwing bombs. Jihad is not merely attacking a soldier or a settler.

We want to see who among the Zionists equals the head of Al-Mabhouh. We want to see [who equals] the martyr Ahmad Yassin, whose blood has not yet dried, and will never dry, because the head of Ahmad Yassin equals all of the five or seven million Zionists. We haven't yet seen what the head of Abd Al-Aziz Al-Rantisi is worth.

We are still waiting to see real Jihad. Just like they have the Mossad, the resistance movements in Palestine have, I believe, their own "Mossad," and maybe even more. Just like we have leaders and they have a hit list of these leaders, I am sure that the resistance movements in Palestine have a hit list of Zionist leaders.
