We have been receiving numerous communications from the People of Israel expressing how demoralized and abandoned the Jewish People in Israel feel by the lack of any strong and meaningful statement and vigorous, public demonstrations sponsored by any of the major and established Jewish organizations in support of Israel's position regarding Jerusalem.
They feel that the treatment of Israel during the last three weeks by President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and spokesmen for the Administration has been an unprecedented humiliation of the Jewish State and a willful isolation of it among the community of nations.
In addition, they are alarmed at the silence of the Jewish community in light of how the Obama Administration has been making statements and taking measures that everyone knows give license for the Arab population within Israel and on its borders to renewintifada and rioting that will severely harm the individual Israeli, as is already being done.
Furthermore, the brazen and humiliating way in which the Prime Minister of Israel, the de facto representative of the entire Jewish People, was treated by the entire staff of the White House in front of all the eyes of the world should not be tolerated. It is encouraging other Western countries, as well as Arab countries, to treat Israel as a diplomatic pariah and even question Israel's legitimacy as a state itself.
The Israeli People are not looking for yet another statement from the establishment Jewish community as to how we are in favor of a peace process, a "two-state solution", or that the last three weeks of humiliation "disrupts" further peace negotiations. What they are looking for, and what the establishment Jewish organizations should do, is to express their outrage at the mistreatment and humiliation of the Jewish State and attempts to portray the Jewish State as being the sole entity blocking a successful War on Terror. This is reminiscent of previous blood libels throughout history, where the Jewish People have been accused that their existence, rituals, or means of survival has been the cause for the loss of Muslim or Christian life.
The Jewish world is awaiting your affirmation that the entire city of Jerusalem must continue to be under Jewish sovereignty and is Israel’s eternal, united capital, and that Jews not be specifically outlawed from building and living in all of its neighborhoods.
Furthermore, it is apparent that the Obama Administration, from the President to Mrs. Clinton, to David Axelrod, and the President's spokesmen are engaging in an attempt to overturn the will of the Israeli People who voted for the current Prime Minister and his coalition partners. They view it -- and rightly so -- as a belittlement not only to their sovereignty, but also to their right to determine who their leaders should be.
On so many fronts, the past three weeks have been an absolute and unwarranted, yet purposeful, humiliation of the Jewish People and the State of Israel. We would expect that the establishment Jewish organizations and leaders would have the courage to stand up, with pride, for the Jewish People and its state. Instead, we are witnessing a silence that conveys the message that the leadership of the Jewish community is more interested in being friends with the Administration than doing its duty by announcing to the world that this cannot be tolerated. We look for the Jewish organizations and its leaders to speak Truth to Power.
The silence of the established Jewish organizations on this matter, in contrast to the outspokenness from J Street, has elevated and allowed J Street to become the most visible and prominent organization speaking out about these issues within the Jewish community. No doubt, many of our leaders are working behind the scenes to repair the rupture of the last three weeks. In this case, however, that is simply not enough and evades the real issue. The world at large has seen a public humiliation and rebuke of the State of Israel go unanswered. Unless it sees a profoundly public rebuke of such treatment, it will assume that such humiliating treatment of Jews and the Jewish State are now acceptable and de rigueur.
The World must hear. The World must see. It takes little courage to meet with other leaders behind closed doors. The courage that is needed now is one where the world sees that Israel, its representatives and the Jewish People cannot tolerate that which no other nation or community would tolerate. Failure to do so openly and in public will guarantee that this will happen again, even if this particular crisis is "smoothed out."
Leaders are not simply men and women who work behind the scenes. Leaders of a community are those who have enough conviction and pride in the profile of their community that they boldly, with enthusiasm, defend their People when unjustly humiliated. Doing so stops the slide of demoralization in its people and restores their confidence in themselves as a People, a people with a legitimate destiny. The American Jewish Community expects that type of leadership from those who claim to be its leaders.

Child Bride Dies After Sex Organs Rupture FOX News
A 13-year-old Yemeni girl who was forced into marriage died five days after her wedding when she suffered a rupture in her sex organs and hemorrhaging, a local rights organization said Thursday.
Ilham Mahdi al Assi died last Friday in a hospital in Yemen's Hajja province, the Shaqaeq Arab Forum for Human Rights said in a statement quoting a medical report.
She was wedded the previous Monday in a traditional arrangement known as a "swap marriage," in which the brother of the bride also married the sister of the groom, it said.
"The child Ilham has died as a martyr due to the abuse of children's lives in Yemen," the non-governmental organization said.
Her death was a "flagrant example" of the results of opposing the ban on child marriage in Yemen, which was leading to "killing child females," it said.
The marriage of young girls is widespread in Yemen, which has a strong tribal structure.
The death of a 12-year-old girl in childbirth in September illustrated the case of the country's "brides of death," many of whom were married off even before puberty.
Controversy heightened in Yemen recently over a law banning child marriage in the impoverished country through setting a minimum age of 17 for women and 18 for men.
Thousands of conservative women demonstrated outside parliament last month, answering a call by Islamist parties opposing the law.
A lesser number of women rallied at the same venue a few days later in support of the law, the implementation of which was blocked pending a request by a group of politicians for a review.

The sheer brutality of the crackdown on the Iranian people who were marching for freedom, for the principle of one man, one vote, was impossible for us in the West to fathom. We heard the horror stories. We saw unarmed people meeting bullets with sheer will.
But the Iranians could not win this way. Barack Obama made sure of that.
We watched the President of the United States essentially sanction the crushing suppression of people who were yearning to be free by ignoring their plight. We witnessed the President of the United States look the other way while Iranian thugs committed acts of mass rape, torture and public hangings of innocent people. All that and more was done by an Islamic regime that President Obama demands that we respect.
He said it in his Inaugural Address: “To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect.” On Al-Arabiya News Channel six days later, he used the phrase again: “To the Arab world and the Muslim world… we are ready to initiate a new partnership based on mutual respect and mutual interest.”
In his famous Cairo address on June 4, 2009, he said it again: “I’ve come here to Cairo to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based on mutual interest and mutual respect, and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition.” And in Turkey that same month, he spelled it out: “We seek broader engagement based upon mutual interest and mutual respect. We will listen carefully, we will bridge misunderstanding, and we will seek common ground. We will be respectful even when we do not agree.”
This respect included the bloody mullahs of Tehran. Appealing to Iran in March 2009, Obama said: “We seek … engagement that is honest and grounded in mutual respect.” On November 4, 2009, the 30th anniversary of the takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and the beginning of the Iranian hostage crisis, Obama said: “I have made it clear that the United States of America wants to move beyond this past, and seeks a relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran based upon mutual interests and mutual respect.”

Three confirmed dead and at least twelve people injured in a religious conflict between the Christians and Muslims on Easter Monday in Nasarawa Gwon local government area of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.
A so-to-say peaceful demonstration was held by the Christians to celebrate the Easter festival; however, the so-called peaceful demonstration turned out to be a bloody one when the Christians were attacked by a group of Muslims who thought the Christians have launched a mass attack on them.
The Christian who were holding a rally made it known to Muslims that it was an Easter celebration period, a celebration in which the Muslims have no right to disrupt. They further stated that the Muslims assumed the Christians are up to something for patrolling the Christian region in the name of Easter; the Muslims decided to strike first before the Christians attack.
The Christian group further stated that the people were killed by the Military. The military killed because the military men were Muslims and they decided to kill the Christians at will.

Bill Donahue of the Catholic League explained that the killings in Nigeria started when a woman walked past a mosque on a Friday when men were praying. The North of Nigeria is ruled by Muslims. The South has a largely Christian population. Jos, where the attacks happened, lays in the middle. The woman’s crime was the trigger, but JIhadi’s desire for Islamic dominance was the fuel.
A Nigerian woman from Jos at the demonstration privately validated this story. She said that the Muslims came in the area and were welcomed as they seemed to be just another group.After their numbers were significant the bullying of the Christian population began. She herself had been beaten for crossing the path of prayers. She wouldn’t speak because the Muslims in Nigeria would kill her family. In the program, the Nigerian Reverend John Okur Okan noted that Catholics do not kill those who disrupt their prayers.
The most obvious characteristic of this gathering was its international make up. The first speaker I saw was Narain Kataria of the Indian American Intellectuals Forum. He told of being hounded out of his part of India when it became Pakistan. Ashraf Ramdah told how the Copts in Egypt were given the choice of paying special taxes, converting or dying. He warned that we were not rich, we would be in big trouble. A white woman told of how post-911 the Jihad has been infiltrating America. The point was that the Nigerians were not an isolated case of sectarian clashes, but a part of a 1400 year long jihad against infidels of all stripes.
The crowd’s two chants were “Help Them Now” and “Stop Sharia, Stop it now.” The rally took place in front of the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations. The idea being to get the U.N. to spend as much attention to Nigeria as it does to Israel. Another hope was that Obama would pressure the Nigerian President to prosecute just one person involved with the massacre and provide protection to Nigeria’s Christians. The crowd wanted America to wake up. That would require that we recognize the global nature of Jihad that this rally represented so well. That would require that we all shine the spot light on massacres such as the one that claimed 500 lives in Jos Nigeria.

MUSLIM TRIES TO LIGHT A BOMB ON DC TO DENVER AIRCRAFT UPDATE: FOX AND OTHERS REPORTING IT'S LIKELY A "MISUNDERSTANDING."
NBC is reporting that a muslim passenger attempted to light an explosive device on board an aircraft from Washington to Denver, sources tell NBC News -- this on the day that Obama said jihad and Islamic terrorism does not exist (neither does his birth certificate).

Authorities say an explosive team is on the way to the airport, and that while the presence of explosives has not yet been confirmed, they believe it was an attempted “shoe bomb.”
The suspect was identified by authorities as a diplomat in the Qatar embassy in Washington, Mohammed al Modadi. The FBI said the man had full diplomat immunity as the 3rd secretary and vice-consul.
Fighter jets were scrambled to bring the plane down. G-d only knows what would have happened if the the air marshals on board hadn't tackled him…
ABC News identified the suspect as a diplomat from the Qatar embassy in Washington.

An airline passenger reportedly tried to light his shoes on fire on a flight from Washington, D.C., to Denver but was subdued by air marshals.
Authorities think it was an attempted "shoe bomb" attack, according to ABC News, which first reported the story, but details couldn't immediately confirmed.
ABC News identified the suspect as a diplomat from the Qatar embassy in Washington.
The Associated Press cited unnamed sources saying the FBI is investigating the incident.
UPDATE: More likely a disturbance:
ABC News, which first reported the story, described the incident as an attempted "shoe bomb" attack, citing unnamed authorities, but Fox News source said it did not appear to involve an explosive substance or device.
The suspect may have tried to light his shoes or something else in an attempt to cover up another smell, however, authorities have come to no final conclusion yet and continue to investigate, the source told Fox News.
The Associated Press cited unnamed sources saying the FBI is investigating the incident. The Transportation Safety Administration confirmed it was "monitoring" the incident, saying initial reports described a passenger "possibly causing a disturbance."
"The flight landed safely at Denver International Airport. Law enforcement and TSA have responded to the scene and the passenger is currently in custody. All steps are being taken to ensure the safety of the traveling public," Transportation Security Administration spokesman Greg Soule said.
United Airlines told Fox News that the flight was a Boeing 757, with 157 passengers and 6 crew members on board.

Federal officials told NBC News that a half hour before the jet landed, a flight attendant smelled smoke just as a passenger was coming out of a restroom and alerted an air marshal. The marshal confronted the man, and there were initial reports that the man said he was trying to light his shoe.

Of all the subversive acts ever in the history of the United States of America, and even during this post-American Administration, this one is the killer: Barack Obama plans to remove all discussion of Islam and jihad from the central document of our national security strategy. Under Bush, the National Security Strategy document declared:
The struggle against militant Islamic radicalism is the great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century.
Now it won’t say anything about “militant Islamic radicalism” at all.
According to the Associated Press, Obama is trying to “change not just how the United States talks to Muslim nations, but also what it talks to them about, from health care and science to business startups and education.” Jihad Watch director Robert Spencer says that this shift “reflects Obama’s core assumption that the jihad against the United States is our fault, and can be quelled by our overtures of good will to the Islamic world.” In other words, if we would just be nice to Muslim countries and talk to them about health care and education instead of fighting against jihad terrorism, they will stop hating us. Spencer adds:
This is based on the further assumption that there is no Islamic imperative to jihad against unbelievers simply because they are unbelievers.
But there is. And the jihad president can’t wish it away.
PALESTINIAN MUSLIM JOURNALISTS BLACKLISTED/EXPELLED FOR MEETING WITH JEWISH JOURNALISTS
This is not surprising -- but revealing. Muslim journalists blacklisted and thrown out for meeting with Jewish journalists. It's in the koran. It's part of Islamic text. Totten has been covering the Middle east for how long and he still doesn't know it's about the annihilation and extermination of the Jews?
This is man bites dog story -- but revealing just the same, because it validates the unspeakable obvious.

Those who believe peace in the Middle East may be just around the corner need to think long and hard about this. Palestinian journalists who last week met with their Israeli colleagues and an IDF spokesman in Tel Aviv have come under fire from both Hamas and Fatah. The trip was arranged by the non-profit Israel advocacy group The Israel Project, whose Web site described the group as "an international non-profit organization devoted to educating the press and the public about Israel while promoting security, freedom and peace."
The journalists met with Maj. Avichai Edri, head of the Arabic-language branch of the IDF Spokesman's Office.
Three of the journalists -- Lana Shaheen, Mueen al-Hilu and Abdel Salam Abu Askar -- are from the Gaza Strip, while another two are from the West Bank.
They now face expulsion from the Fatah-controlled Palestinian Journalists Syndicate on charges of promoting normalization with Israel.

One of the groups, the Democratic Press Association, called on the journalists to "repent" and express publicly apologize for visiting the "Zionist entity and meeting with Zionist reporters."
No one has ever demanded I "repent" or apologize for visiting an Arab country or meeting with Arab spokesman or colleagues. I even lived in an Arab country and would do so again, and not a single American has ever accused me of being a traitor. I haven't even been mildly criticized for it. I'm not Israeli, of course, but I know Israeli journalists who have worked in Arab countries and have Arab friends, and they don't face these kinds of problems at home.

The duplicity of Fayyad and Abbas: Preaching non-violence while supporting terror

Contrary to statements by both Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and ChairmanMahmoud Abbas supporting a "non-violent resistance," their actions continue to support violence and terror. As Palestinian Media Watch has reported, the PA leaders have repeatedly honored terrorists in well-publicized acts of support in recent months.
The PA leadership's most recent show of terror support was last week, when both Abbas and Fayyad honored one of the notorious terrorists of the first years of the Palestinian terror war (the "Intifada"). The terrorist Abdallah Daud headed the Palestinian intelligence service in Bethlehem, and was actively involved in the Palestinian terror against Israeli civilians. When Israel entered Bethlehem in 2002 in an attempt to eradicate the Palestinian terror, Abdallah Daud was one of the most wanted Palestinian terrorists who stormed into the Church of the Nativity.
For several weeks, Daud and his fellow terrorists continued fighting against Israel from inside the church, essentially using the monks and the religious site as their shields. The confrontation ended when Israel decided to let the terrorists leave without trial and they were deported to foreign countries and Gaza. Daud was sent to Cypress and later Mauritania, where he died last week of natural causes.Ignoring the crimes and terror that led to Daud's deportation, the PA leaders last week chose to honor the terrorist Daud by giving him an "official" funeral. The official PA daily reported on the funeral with a large picture on its front page.
Abbas sent his personal emissary to the funeral. He spoke in Abbas's name:
"We must maintain the way of the Shahid (Martyr) Daud, who always believed in the struggle, in love of the homeland, and in the realization of national unity." [Al-Quds, March 28, 2010]
Palestinian PM Fayyad chose to honor the terrorist publicly and in person by paying a condolence visit to the home of his family. Fayyad "enumerated the Shahid's (Martyr's) virtues" and noted his "suffering from the injustice of his expulsion." The story of his honoring the terrorist was also reported on the front page of the official PA daily.
Other recent examples of Fayyad honoring terrorists:
On December 26, 2009, Fayyad paid condolence calls to the homes of each of the three terrorists who murdered Israeli Rabbi Meir Avshalom Hai in a drive-by shooting.
On February 14, 2010, Fayyad paid a condolence call to the family of a terrorist who attempted to stab an Israeli soldier.
Other recent examples of Abbas honoring terrorists:
On December 27, 2009, Abbas honored the three terrorists who murdered Israeli Rabbi Meir Avshalom Hai, in a drive-by shooting, calling them "Shahids [Martyrs] of the Palestinian revolution..."
On December 29, 2009, Abbas honored the terrorist Dalal Mughrabi with a birthday party.
On January 17, 2010 Abbas defended naming a square after the terrorist Dalal Mughrabi.
On March 6, 2010 Abbas promoted imprisoned terrorist Mahmoud Damra to major-general.
On March 9, 2010 Abbas's representative honored the terrorist Dalal Mughrabi by calling her the "bridge over which we pass on the way to our freedom."
The following is the report from the front page of the official PA daily about Fayyad's condolences last week:"Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad yesterday expressed his condolences at the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, over the death of theShahid (Martyr) Abdallah Daud. The Prime Minister enumerated the Shahid's virtues and said that his death far from the homeland and suffering from the injustice of his expulsion, bestows upon his Martyrdom a clear national and human character."[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 31, 2010]
The following is the report on Abbas's statement read by Mahmoud Al-Aloul, member of the Fatah Central Committee, at the funeral:"Mahmoud Al-Aloul, member of the Fatah Central Committee, delivered a speech on behalf of PresidentMahmoud Abbas , during which he recounted the life story of the Shahid (Martyr), who sacrificed his life for his country and for his people. Yes, there were very dangerous periods (the Civil War, World War I, World War II), but during those times of great crisis the steward of this nation was always a patriot, a freedom-lover -- an American. As I explain in my forthcoming book The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration's War on America (Simon & Schuster), Obama, in contrast, is a socialist internationalist who clearly despises this country and the whole idea of America, the first moral nation, built on the principle of freedom itself, in human history.
He himself said it in April 2009. During a visit to London for a summit of the Group of Twenty Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (G-20), a reporter asked Obama: "[C]ould I ask you whether you subscribe, as many of your predecessors have, to the school of ‘American exceptionalism' that sees America as uniquely qualified to lead the world, or do you have a slightly different philosophy?"
Obama offered no avowal of American uniqueness. Instead, he equated American exceptionalism with the national pride that a citizen of any nation could feel: "I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism."
