Interview with 'Abu Al-Harith' from Jund Ansar Allah: 

Over 11,000 Salafi Jihadis in Gaza

On April 19, 2010, the independent Palestinian news agency Ma'an published an article based on an interview it conducted with one "Abu Al-Harith," whom it described as a commander in the Gazan salafi jihadi organization Jund Ansar Allah. In the interview, Abu Al-Harith discussed the origins of the salafi jihadi movement in Gaza, explained why Gazans are leaving Hamas and joining the salafi organizations, and said that Israeli intelligence had foiled planned attacks on former British prime minister Tony Blair and former U.S. president Jimmy Carter in the Gaza Strip.
