Iran Says Sanctions Just an Empty Threat
Two Killed in Dagestan Car Explosion
Friday, 2 April 2010
At least, a truthful statement from the monstrous mullahocracy. It dismissed sanctions as an empty threat. Click here for the story.
The mad mullahs know that the Obama administration and Saudi Arabia are resigned to "living with but never accepting" a nuclear-armed, Islamist Iran--that the Appeaser-in-Chief and his helpers have bought the Brzezinski formula for turning a disaster (allowing Iran to develop nuclear weapons) into a catastrophe.
Two people were killed in Russia's Dagestan region Thursday when their car was hit by an explosion.
Officials in the North Caucasus region say the blast occurred near a village.
The cause of the blast is still being investigated. But police say the car may have been carrying an explosive device.
It is the latest in a string of deadly blasts in Russia this week. Wednesday, two suicide bombers killed at least 12 people in the town of Kizlyar in Dagestan, near the border with Chechnya. The town's police chief was among the dead.
On Monday, suicide bombings of two Moscow subway stations killed 39 people. One of the stations was close to headquarters of Russia's Federal Security Service.
Chechen Islamist terrorist leader Doku Umarov claimed responsibility for Monday's attacks, saying they were in retaliation for Russian security forces killing civilians in the Caucasus. Umarov also said attacks against Russia will continue.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has said a single terrorist group may be behind both the Moscow and Dagestan attacks.
