Dow Soars 2 Percent as China Shows Confidence in Europe


Stocks rocketed higher Thursday after China reassured investors it doesn't plan to sell the European debt it holds. The Dow Jones industrial average rose about 190 points, or about 2 percent, in late morning trading, while Treasury prices tumbled as traders pumped money into riskier assets like stocks and commodities.
