Abortion

Plans have been announced to broadcast the UK’s first television advert for abortion services, this coming Monday evening on Channel 4. Please pray against this happening. There were over 200,000 abortions in 2008. We long to see that number reduced not increased. It is tragic that while cigarette advertising on television is banned, that which threatens life much more directly is not. Whether or not the advert goes ahead, please pray against the practice of abortion, which robs the unborn of life and threatens the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of women.

Paul Coleman comments on abortion advert due to be aired on Monday 24 May 2010

UCB UK Radio,

20 May 2010 (7m 15s)

In the face of this reminder of the horror of death, it is wonderful to be reminded of the beauty of life through a new film ‘Babies’ recently released in the US. Please pray that many would see it and resolve to choose life.
