Does what’s happening in Europe matter to us? This morning, at the early hour of 6.40am, I was on the sofa at BBC Breakfast discussing whether the Eurozone’s problems are our problems too. It’s always nice to be invited on to a top show like BBC Breakfast, even to talk about such a gloomy topic, and on a glorious morning like today, taking a 6am trip through the streets of London to the studios lifts the soul. And the financial world could certainly do with its soul being lifted at the moment. It seems that we are now out of the eye of the storm and heading into the second movement of the financial crisis. So what on earth is going on and why does the euro crisis matter to us?Why Europe's problems matter to the UK
