NY Times: Law enforcement officials offered a more detailed description of the makeup of the failed car bomb found in Times Square on Saturday night, and said they were reviewing surveillance footage that showed a white man who appeared to be in his 40s walking away from the area as he looked over his shoulder and removed a layer of clothing.
But imagine, if you will, that we said middle eastern man and it was a white guy. The liberals' heads would be exploding in indignant outrage over the gross miscarriage of social justice.

New York (CNN) -- Authorities hunting for the suspect in the botched Times Square bombing dramatically beat the clock overnight, seizing a Pakistani-American citizen moments before he was set to begin a long trip to his strife-torn homeland.
Faisal Shahzad, 30, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. ET Monday at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, said Attorney General Eric Holder.
President Obama said Tuesday that "justice will be done" in the case and that U.S. officials "will do everything in our power to protect the American people."
The failed bombing is "another sobering reminder of the times in which we live," Obama told an audience of business leaders. But the United States "will be vigilant" and "will not cower in fear."

And this nonsense between "home grown" and international Islamic terrorism. It's jihad. Nationality has nothing to do with this. Islam is their state. Borders are merely logistics.

The Feds did an amazing job, almost scary, in apprehending him at JFK (a movie script, for sure) as he was about to leave the country. If Bush had done this, the Libs would be screaming about privacy concerns, given all the ELINT data they collected and analyzed.
Mayor Bloomberg's office has been deeply infiltrated -- "human rights commissioner" -- oh, the irony. The city of "if you see something, say something" has on our "human rights commission" a litigation jihadist who is representing the flying imams -- people saw something and said something, and Omar with CAIR filed suit. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has on his New York City Human Rights Commission the CAIR-New York President Omar Mohammedi. Mohammedi was appointed to the Commission in October of 2002.
Terror lawyer Mohammedi represents a number of organizations that are the defendants in a 9/11 lawsuit for the murder of 3000 innocent people. One of the organizations he is the lawyer for is the World Assembly for Muslim Youth (WAMY), a Saudi-based group with offices around the globe that publishes incendiary materials against Jews and openly supports Hamas and violent jihad.
Omar Mohammedi has also serves as attorney for the Flying Imams, the six imams who were removed from a US Airways flight after passengers complained that they were acting suspiciously. Mohammedi filed a lawsuit on their behalf for unspecified damages, citing "fear, depression, mental pain and financial injury" on the part of the imams.[17] He also initially filed suit against the passengers who complained, which would have had a chilling effect on anyone reporting suspicious behavior by Muslims in airports -- although that part of the suit was dropped after Republicans in Congress passed legislation to protect the passengers.

In an unprecedented victory for the EDL, the people of Dudley, and free peoples everywhere, the monster mosque planned for Dudley despite overwhelming opposition from the townspeople (55,000 people signed the petitions) has been scrapped. That it would have gone ahead at all after the petitions shows a contempt for the people that is breathtaking.
There are effective offensive actions that SIOA will be taking. This EDL protest was brilliant.
The fortress was stopped. SIOA here in America beat CAIR, and our buses are going back up on the Miami streets this week. We are suing the US government for denying us the SIOA trademark because it might offend Muslims (maybe Jews for Jesus might offend someone). This is self-enforced sharia. Despite the EDL victory, muslims are policing the streets in cars around Dudley. Of course the dhimmi Dudley police are doing nothing about it. And while things will calm down in Dudley, it will only get worse.

The mosque plans have been pulled. You'll notice that in this mainstream media reports, they held back from reporting on the Muslims beating non-Muslims, and they never identified the assailants. Muslim gangs were wilding, thousands of Muslims were rioting and throwing objects at the roof protesters, and many of them had knives. Beatings and stabbings were reported as well. How do you define civil war?
Plans to build an £18million mosque in Dudley town centre have been scrapped, the Express & Star can reveal today.
The scheme to build a mosque with 65ft minaret on derelict land in Hall Street attracted huge protests, but has now been ditched by the Dudley Muslim Association.
Deputy council leader, Les Jones, told the Express & Star today the DMA had agreed instead to redevelop the existing mosque in Castle Hill, after months of delicate negotiations.
The proposal has been dogged by controversy from day one and two petitions of more than 50,000 signatures were gathered in opposition.
People objected saying the mosque would dominate the skyline and be out of keeping with the town’s medieval character. They also objected to the mosque being built on land designated for employment use.
Despite Dudley Council throwing out the application in 2007 it was granted at an appeal the following year by a government inspector.
In 2009 the council launched a High Court bid against the inspector’s decision but the judge upheld the ruling, granting outline planning permission.
Councillor Jones said since then the council has been in talks with the DMA.
He said: “We have reached an agreement with the DMA not to develop on land in Hall Street.
“The current mosque is not really fit for purpose and we have been working with them to come up with some plans and would have been looking to submit an outline planning application in the next few months.”
Today’s announcement comes as a handful of anti-mosque campaigners scaled the walls of the derelict factory in Hall Street for a rooftop protest.
Councillor Malcolm Davis, who has campaigned against the mosque plan, said: “I’m delighted with the outcome. If it has taken months of negotiation to achieve this result then I applaud that.”
