God help us all. The "left-leaning" (BBCspeak for ardent lefty, Europhile, climate change fanatic) Chris Huhne is taking up the environment and climate change brief. Expect this intolerant, self-opinionated noneity to be omnipresent on BBC programmes from now on; and expect an instant stepping up of the volume of climate change moonshine. Oh, and prepare for massive power cuts - because that's where we are heading. I suppose it was predictable that after the horror of Labour being thrown out of Downing Street has sunk in to the BBC, the fightback would commence. This morning, on Today, between 7 and 7.30am, the meme is "But can it gold together"? BBC line is to question the stability of the Con/Lib pact and to claim that it could all fall apar. Gracious in defeat, eh? Several good laughs tonight. BBC News reported Brown going into to see Her Majesty suggesting he would be in "for some time." He was out after 15mins. BBC then reported Cameron going in to see Her Majesty suggesting it would be "about 5 minutes" - he was in for at least 20 minutes, BBC stunned! Meanwhile, I was listening to a one of those "special" BBC panels on the World Tonight - noticed no Conservative commentators, so usual BBC balance! They must be gutted that all these years of Labour are over....any champagne bottles spotted in the corridors of Broadcasting House yet? Regardless of our views of the next PM, I hope we can all unite in delight at this moment of history: Having a laugh at the fact that even as I type this, at 6.17pm, the BBC is still pretending there is a possibility that the Lib/Lab losers coalition is on. Mark Easton is in denial! If anyone else listened to Today this morning, wasn't it interesting to observe the sheer excitement from the BBC commentators that Clegg is king-maker? The BBC doesn't dwell on such pesky facts as the Lib-Dem losing seats at the GE, the mood music remains the same as it did during the TV debates when it comes to our Nick. I have argued that the BBC itself is more pro Lib-Dem than pro-Labour since the former have the more lunatic leftist policies but at the moment the visceral swooning over Clegg and his fellow political whores in the Liberal-Democrat Party has reached unbelievable heights! Anyone catch mad Harriet Harman interviewed by Kirsty Wark on Newsnight? Talk about obsequious! I thought I saw a tear well up in her eyes as she agreed Gordon had done the decent thing!TURN OUT THE LIGHTS...

Lib-Con Negotiations Stall Over BBC Question Time
Talks between David Cameron and Nick Clegg have broken down this afternoon, much to the shock of pundits and journalists. Most of the major hurdles; voting reform, taxation, education, and immigration, had been overcome and both parties were heading confidently towards a formal coalition for stable government.
Then the question of BBC Question Time was raised.
Both leaders agreed that if they were going to jointly form the government then it would be 'unfair' to have two seats around the table on a Thursday evening but the question of how to allocate representatives from both parties have lead to difficulties. The Tories are adamant that they should have 6 out of every 7 weeks while the Lib Dems are holding out for alternating appearances on the show.
Meanwhile we have learned that when Gordon Brown tried to derail the negotiations he offered to arrange a permanent seat on the panel for Sarah Teather in exchange for replacing Dimbleby with Charlie Whelan. We have to assume from the angry outburst reported from the leader of the Labour Party that this was turned down.
Both teams have returned to their respective parties to discuss their options and to see if there are any suggestions to move the negotiations forward. Senior Tories are looking at the idea of arranging for Lembit Opik to be the showbiz correspondent for the This Week show, now that he is no longer required to attend Parliament, as a way of resolving the impasse.
An announcement is expected soon.BBC GOES LIB-DEM CRAZY..
