The Statue of Liberty (SL) was given to the U.S. by the Grand Orient Freemasons of France, who had helped bring about the French Revolution of 1789. Their Masonic lodges were infiltrated by the Illuminati, which was founded on May 1, 1776 by Adam Weishaupt whose philosophy was “do what thou wilt.” This is also what the serpent told Eve in the Garden of Eden, and the serpent represented Satan/Lucifer (praised by Masonic leader Albert Pike).

What does this mean in terms of Biblical End Times? Revelation 13:18 refers to the number of the Beast to come as 666. The key to understanding this may be in 1 Kings 10:14 and 2 Chronicles 9:13, which indicate 666 was the weight of talents of gold that was brought each year to Solomon, who would worship Astarte, the goddess of the Sidonians. In Benjamin Disraeli’s Coningsby: Or the New Generation (1844), the key character is Sidonia, who says: “So you see, my dear Coningsby, that the world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.” In Revelation, the final battle takes place at Armageddon. This is, in a worldly sense, the final battle for world control, for who will control the world government, which could be brought about through world trade. This is because in Solomon’s time, he fortified Gezer, Hazor, and Megiddo. The Har (Mount) of Megiddo could be called Armageddon, and through this fortification, Solomon controlled the Via Maris and world trade, thereby controlling the world of his day.

In a spiritual sense, Astarte was the Phoenician goddess Ashteroth, the female half of Baal (New Agers refer to a future of androgyny or of yin/yang). Human babies were sacrificed to Baal (like abortions today) under Ahab, who had married Jezebel, the daughter of the Sidonian (Phoenician) king, Ethbaal. But like the battle between the God of Elijah and the prophets of the Phoenicians’ Baal during Ahab’s time, Baal (Satan) symbolically rises like the Phoenix from the ashes to do battle with the actually-risen Lord, Jesus Christ, Who is victorious.

In Part 1 of this series, I referred to an engraving placed on St. John the Divine Cathedral in New York City (NYC) in 1997 showing the city being destroyed relevant to St. John’s Book of Revelation in The Holy Bible. St. John the Divine Church has been called “the Cathedral of Socialism” relevant to the former cathedral Dean 1972-1997 James Parks Morton’s affinity for Bauhaus. And the planned world government to come will be Socialist, a synthesis of Western Capitalism and Eastern Communism.

Operating out of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine have been the Omega Dance Company (which performs “And the Word Became Dance” invoking the goddess Diana) and the Lindisfarne Institute with faculty member and Luciferian David Spangler. At the Cathedral, one has been able to see among the pantheon, the devil and a goddess that eats babies, justified by Morton as part of a totality “within which it’s possible to see how opposites assist each other.” Morton said the Earth is God’s or Christ’s “body,” and he had displayed a 4-foot bronze statue of a female crucified Christ called Christa, sculpted by Winston Churchill’s granddaughter Edwina Sandys.

A photographic exhibit created especially for the Cathedral was William Wegman’s “Canes Ecclesiorum,” showing dogs’ faces in cleric attire. In Morton’s office, one could see a statue of the Hindu elephant god Ganesha. And on his desk was a green dragon (remember the Green Dragon Tavern was where the Freemasons planned the Boston Tea Party, and from the Buddhist Green Dragon Society the Nazis brought 1000 Tibetan Lamas to Berlin). And if you’re still wondering why NYC might be the destroyed city to which the Book of Revelation is referring, do you see any permanent display of the Ten Commandments on public property there? However, on the State Seal of New York and in courthouses throughout NYC and every state of the Union, there is the pagan goddess Themis (blindfolded holding scales), who is supposedly the daughter of Gaia. A statue of Themis’ son Prometheus is at Rockefeller Center in NYC. Prometheus allegedly stole fire from Zeus, whose statue overlooks the UN Reception Hall in NYC (Lucis Trust, formerly Lucifer Publishing, maintained the UN Meditation Room for years). In Greek mythology, Zeus takes the form of Taurus, whose face "gleams with seven rays of fire” (see Fasti, Vol. 164 by Ovid).

Also in Rockefeller Center is a statue of Atlas. A statue of Bellerophon supposedly taming Pegasus is at Columbia University in NYC. And other NYC statues include Lenin on Houston Street, Garibaldi (revolutionary for whom Madame Blavatsky fought) in Washington Square Park, and revolutionary Mazzini (“point of light when rays traversed the world”) overlooking the Sheep Meadow.

Perhaps most currently relevant to the New World Religion spirituality represented by the SL is the New Age Earth Charter, which is now being exhibited around the world. It was drafted by Stephen Rockefeller (Nelson Rockefeller’s son) for Mikhail Gorbachev and Maurice Strong, both of whom say the Earth Charter (housed in the Ark of Hope, modeled after the Ark of the Covenant) is like “a new Ten Commandments.” On June 25, 2001 the U.S. Conference of Mayors endorsed the Earth Charter, which contains a provision calling for the redistribution of wealth within and among nations, a clearly Socialistic concept necessary for the planned New World Order World Socialist Government.

This, along with a one-world religion, are the ultimate goals of the Power Elite, among whom are the Rockefellers. In 1959, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund Special Studies Project published The Mid-Century Challenge to U.S. Foreign Policy, which foretold: “We cannot escape, and indeed should welcome, the task which history has imposed on us. This is the task of helping to shape a new world order in all its dimensions—spiritual, economic, political, social.”

Note that the first dimension listed is “spiritual,” and evidence that this effort continued in the future can be found in Sen. Barry Goldwater’s With No Apologies, in which he explained regarding David Rockefeller’s Trilateral Commission (founded in 1973): “In my view the Trilateral Commission represents a skillful coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power—political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical.” Note that he says that they plan to “seize control” of ecclesiastical power!

When this comes about, it will be the fulfillment of “The Plan” which Alice Bailey said would be taking “rapid shape” by 2025 A.D. Remember Bailey’s emphasis on the seven rays (like those protruding from the SL’s head). And the next major event to watch for will be a global economic crisis causing the devaluation of the dollar. This will coerce the acceptance of a global currency called “The Phoenix” (rising from the global economic ashes) by 2018 A.D. (see the cover of The Economist for January 9, 1988 for a picture of this currency planned for the future).
