Friday, 23 July 2010 07:50 'German prosecutors have dropped a probe into allegations that the country's top cleric, Freiburg Archbishop Robert Zollitsch, hired a pedophile priest. "The investigation into Freiburg Archbishop Robert Zollitsch has been closed," the Associated Press quoted Prosecutor Christoph Hettenbach as saying in a statement released Wednesday. An anonymous complaint had accused the 71-year-old Zollitsch of reappointing a priest in 1987 known to have sexually abused minors in the 1960s. "Since no concrete abuse cases or victims' names have come to light from the priest's second period in Birnau from 1987 to 1992, there are no grounds for holding Dr Zollitsch criminally responsible," Hettenbach said in the statement.' The policeman had been filmed pushing Ian Tomlinson to the ground during the G20 riots after he was hit by a baton and shoved to the ground. Tomlinson was seen in mobile phone footage moving away after the incident but collapsed 100 meters away in Cornhill. The bill was passed by a margin of 59-39 with most Republicans opposing the extension. They argued that it would add unnecessarily to the federal budget deficit. The vote ends a lengthy ordeal during which Democrats attempted several times to pass the benefits extension both as a stand-alone measure as well as part of a wider tax package.' The two countries sent their joint proposals to the EU on Wednesday, calling on the 27-member bloc to speed up the process it deems necessary for the establishment of economic convergence. According to AFP, the declaration also called for the imposition of sanctions on countries that undermine the stability within the EU's financial regulatory system.' As ConnectMidMichigan reports, "New types of money are popping up across Mid-Michigan and supporters say, it's not counterfeit, but rather a competing currency. Right now, you can buy a meal or visit a chiropractor without using actual U.S. legal tender." The plan is so simple, it just may work - after all if one can't get away from the Fed's probing and pickpocketing long fingers, all one has to do is learn to live without its parasitic pieces of paper. And not just paper: "I sell three or four every single day and then I get one or two back a week," said Dave Gillie, owner of Gillies Coney Island Restaurant in Genesee Township. Gillie also accepts silver, gold, copper and other precious metals to pay for food." So yes, you can eat gold.... and load up your gas tank with it.' 'For the next-year drilling contracts, we are expected to award them this year,' the official said on the sidelines of an oil symposium concluded in Baghdad on Monday. Yeah, yeah, we know: BP is one of the only companies with the capacity to handle projects of this magnitude -- like Halliburton -- and the world depends on that oil, blah, blah. Just like Tony Blair is the only guy qualified to "advise" on Iraqi oil contracts making him tens of millions. It's the standard line given when the connected multinational corporations continuously pawn our soldiers to claim their profits.' But on Friday, a judge said he had no power to stop social services summarily withdrawing them from their local school to be sent to a new home. The 11-year-old was looking forward to being in the school play and the end of term Leavers' Service. She has now been torn away from friends she has known since she was four, the nearest thing to stability left in her life. The children's wishes were not taken into account ...' Officials of the Chicago suburb are looking into finding a way of putting an end to the practice by legal means. The idiocy stems from a recent city council meeting where an Elmhurst resident was ejected from the room after rolling her eyes in reaction to something that was said by a council member.' Police claimed that he had died of a heart attack, a claim supported by an initial post mortem, but second and third post mortems concluded that Tomlinson died from abdominal hemorrhage. After a 15-month inquiry, director of Public Prosecutions Keir Starmer said, "There is no realistic prospect of a conviction".'David Icke - What the Controllers really fear ...
