Prayer and Action

Academies Bill – Further Action Needed

The Academies Bill is due for its second reading in the House of Commons on Monday the 19th of July and the Committee stages on the 21st, 22nd and 26th of July. Time is running out, and we believe that provisions relating to religious education, collective worship and sex education need to be put on the face of the Bill to make sure that important provisions are retained for Academies.

Please e-mail a letter to the Prime Minister, to the Secretary of State for Education and to your local MP as soon as possible. Please click here for further information and addresses.
