Members of Americans For a Safe Israel/AFSI, including Executive Director Helen Freedman, Sherine Levine, Charlotte Wahl, Jan Fenster, Ira Nosenchuck, Charlie Bernhaut, Ferne Hassan, Morton Berkowitz, Michael Birnbaum, Joshua Zion and more were part of over a thousand who gathered at Ground Zero on Sunday morning, August 22, to protest against the proposed $100 million mosque to be built two blocks from the burial ground of 3000 Americans who were murdered by Islamic terrorists on September 11, 2001.
