He argued that it is the internal bickering among the Palestinians that is keeping them from actualizing their rights, and that only serious diplomatic efforts can bring about the establishment of a Palestinian state. Sayfullah, whose real name is Mahomed Vagapov, was killed in a battle with Russian forces in the village of Gunib in Dagestan on August 21, 2010, along with his deputy Salahuddin and a number of other mujahideen.[1] The communiqué vows that the Emirate will avenge Sayfullah's death through attacks in Moscow and in Sochi, a Black Sea resort town in Krasnodar Krai that is slated to host the 2014 Winter Olympics.
