It's expected arrival is Aug. 3. This is known as a geomagnetic storm, and they have been known to cause electrical power outages and damage communications satellites. They drive shock waves which produce energetic particles that can be damaging to both electronic equipment and astronauts that venture outside the protection of the Earth's magnetic field.' Tuesday, 03 August 2010 08:36 'After managing to find some marijuana, it sat unused and hidden in a far corner of the house. I continued to suffer as before, but I'd lost my courage. I remembered being high as a teenager, and I didn't want to be like that again. I didn't want to lose control of myself amid a roomful of sober adults. My internal battle waged for four weeks. Four weeks of society's conditioning wearing away while I wept. Finally one night when the pain became too extraordinary, it was either try the pot or go to A&E to be scanned in case I'd had an aneurysm. In my hospital-jaded and exhausted state, I finally opted for the pot, reasoning that if it was an aneurysm it would still be there afterwards, but if not I'd feel better and save myself an unnecessary trip. Within minutes of taking a small amount of cannabis there was not an inch of my body in pain, and my tremors had stopped. My body felt at peace, and I don't think I can ever convey the enormity of that to anyone. Nothing hurt or felt wrong. I was still weak, but I could move with as much ease and grace as I used to. Yes, I was intoxicated, but it was not how I remembered it from my teenage years. Perhaps it was the smaller amount I used, just enough to free my body from its prison. I felt I was smiling more than usual, but this truly seemed to be because the mantle of agony I am normally covered in had been lifted. I certainly wasn't hearing or saying unusual things. Nevertheless, the "high" period was brief yet the health effects remained for a full 24 hours. It seemed to be a miracle. I tried to imagine the warning label if this was manufactured by a pharmaceutical company: "Will induce slight giddiness and loss of any concept of time for approximately two hours. Full beneficial effects will continue for 24 hours." An acceptable trade-off?' Tuesday, 03 August 2010 08:24 Jordan Maxwell explains that people are owned by banks. YOUR birth certificate and mine are on the stock exchange. This puts a new spin on "human resource". Tuesday, 03 August 2010 08:20 'Global banking giant HSBC unveiled bumper half-year profits of £7billion today - then outlined plans to hand more than £6 billion 'compensation' to its staff. But HSBC bosses immediately risked stirring public fury when they revealed that 'just over 20 per cent' of revenue had been allocated for pay and bonuses.' It is still a chemical, which in no way, shape, or form treats the cause of the problem and can lead to complications that can seriously injure, if not kill, you or someone you love. So this is clearly important information that can help you or someone you love reduce your risk of dementia as you get older. Based on the findings of this study, I would strongly recommend that seniors in particular avoid all anticholinergic drugs, like Benadryl (generic is diphenhydramine) which is a pervasive and commonly used in virtually all of the OTC sleeping pills. Researchers will continue studying the matter to see whether anticholinergic-induced cognitive impairment can be reversed, but don't hold your breath. Avoidance is really the best solution.' In this instance, the social workers pursued through the courts a doting mother, against whom there is not a shred of evidence that she harmed her child in any way. When they won their case, on highly questionable legal grounds, they left the court giving exultant “high fives” that they now had judicial authority to snatch the baby ... ... At the last minute, however, I have been legally advised that, in the circumstances of this case, I cannot report it in any way. In due course I am hoping that it will be possible to do so, because it is as alarming an instance as any I have covered of how utterly corrupted our system of child protection has become. The very fact that I am so far forbidden to bring this horrifying story to light in itself illustrates not the least shocking aspect of this system – the way it is able to shroud itself in legally enforced secrecy, so that so many outrageous and inhuman blunders can be hidden away from public view. - Christopher Booker, Sunday Telegraph Tuesday, 03 August 2010 07:56 'The £1.2billion spent on tackling the swine flu pandemic that never was may have saved as few as 26 lives at a cost of up to £46million each, an astonishing study has found. The vast sum spent on vaccinations, anti-virals and facemasks prevented such a paltry number of deaths because the virus turned out to be far less deadly than normal flu. The £46milllion cost of saving each life is enough to pay the salary of almost 2,000 nurses.' Read more: £1.2bn Spent to Beat Swine Flu... and Just 26 Lives Saved

This was the shocking outcome of a story on which I have reported before, illustrating the ruthless determination of too many social workers to seize babies or children from responsible and loving parents on the flimsiest of evidence, or no evidence at all, to place them with foster carers or send them for adoption in a way which flouts the principle on which the whole system supposedly rests, namely that the interests of the child are paramount.
