The question followed his oft quoted remark: “”will you tell those dumba—s at the Tea Party to stop asking questions about birth certificates while I’m on the camera?” It shows the extent that this conservative politician is playing both sides of the birth certificate issue and how Republicans are intimidated by the extreme right.“What am I supposed to do?”
