The Arabs are still stuck on rejection

By Ted Belman

Last week Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad angrily left a UN Ad-Hoc Liaison Committee meeting and canceled a scheduled subsequent press conference with Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon in New York. He did so after Ayalon refused to approve a summary of the meeting which said “two states” but did not include the words “two states for two peoples.”. Ayalon said afterwards “What I say is that if the Palestinians are not willing to talk about two states for two peoples, let alone a Jewish state for Israel, then there’s nothing to talk about, … if the Palestinians mean, at the end of the process, to have one Palestinian state and one bi-national state, this will not happen.” .

Days earlier, at the beginning of a Cabinet meeting, PM Netanyahu said, “The foundation of the state of Israel is that it is the nation-state of the Jewish people,”… “That is the real basis of the end of demands from the state of Israel and the end of the conflict...

The Complacency and Complicity of America’s Jews

American Jews: Going Going Gone! They have replaced Judaism and G-d with American Liberalism. We should not count them as one of us because they aren’t. There are not 5 million Jews in America there is maybe 1 million. That’s the reality and we must live with it and build upon what is; not what is not. 1 million faithful Jews are worth 10 million assimilated faithless Jews. Yamit

By Lauri B. Regan

American Thinker

Recently, I had a conversation with an Israeli cousin who asserted that all the world’s Jews should live in Israel. Recognizing that there is no other place in the world in which Jews are truly welcome, he argued that if all the Jews of the Diaspora actually lived in Israel, it would be much easier to contain the threat of annihilation through a larger population of people willing and able to fight for that country’s survival.

I disagreed. I argued that now more than ever, it is extremely important to have outspoken Jews living in the United States....

Peace Processors Need To Shut-UP And Stay Out Of Israel’s Business

Laura: Bibi needs to ignore the demands of Bill Clinton, Hillary, Obama and George Mitchell. What gives these people the right to make demands upon the people of Israel who actually have to live with the dire consequences of their policies while the peace processors themselves are safely ensconced thousands of miles away? The muslim-arabs referred to as “palestinians” have NO RIGHT to sovereignty over any part of Israel and building must resume immediately. As though Israel isn’t miniscule enough, these people demand that Israel further reduce itself in size by surrendering territory to genocidal mass murderers, modern day nazis. There are no “settlements” and there is no “occupation” in eastern Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria. Jewish people are merely exercising their historical and legal rights to live in these areas. There NEVER was a sovereign nation-state of Palestine, Jerusalem was NEVER the capital of any...

Jewish message to Obama

In the final analysis I wouldn’t count on many Jewish defections either from Obama or the Democratic party. They are liberals before they are Jews and supporters of Israel. Liberals and Democrats before they are patriotic Americans. If ever there was political pathological behavior, beyond logical rationalism, The Jews of America are it. How can any group consistently vote for and support a political entity that is clearly not in their own self interest? Yamit

American Jews should not vote for any Democrat in upcoming US elections

Shoula Romano Horing

Despite recent change in tone, rhetoric and conduct by President Obama toward Israel and its prime minister, most Israelis do not trust this new act and perceive Obama to be the most pro Palestinian, Pro-Arab, and Pro-Muslim American president ever, lacking a basic commitment or even sympathy to the Jewish state.

It seems that Obama’s sudden “change of heart” toward Israel is not the result of rediscovered love,...

What the Left is really after

by Caroline Glick

Following the example of its counterparts in the West, for decades the Israeli Left has carefully cultivated its image as the fun side of the political divide.

In a thousand different ways, the public was told that the Left is on the side of tomorrow. It is the home of optimism. If you want a cheery future, if you want to party all night long and never get a hangover, the image-makers told us the Left is the place to be.

From the Left’s perspective, the peace process between Israel and the PLO was the fulfillment of its promise. It was also its key to a permanent cultural monopoly and control of government.

Israelis who objected to handing control over the country’s heartland and capital city to the PLO were nothing more than gloom and doom preaching, messianic extremists. The Right was angry. The Left was happy. The Right was the party of war. The Left was the party of peace. The Right was suspicious and tribal. The Left was optimistic and...

Israel bids to end global oil dependency by 2020

Government plan, WAS reviewed Sunday, will make Israel a global center for alternative energy technology.
By Avi Bar-Eli, HAARETZ

An interministerial committee charged with finding ways of turning Israel into an international hub for technology to reduce global oil consumption will present its findings to the cabinet last week.

The government plans to invest NIS 2 billion in the decade-long program from 2011 to 2020, alongside another estimated NIS 1.8 billion investment by the private sector.

The plan calls for the appointment of a project manager on behalf of the Prime Minister’s Office, backing for private initiatives, a bigger budget for research and development and international cooperation. The committee is headed by Prof. Eugene Kandel, head of the National Economic Council; he submitted the report to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week. The cabinet is scheduled to discuss it today.

In February, the ministers decided that reducing global oil consumption...

ANALYSIS / The winner in the settlement row is Netanyahu

As the construction freeze end, the PM finds himself in the political center, without having to make crucial decisions
By Aluf Benn,HAARETZ

Benjamin Netanyahu appears to be the winner of the construction-freeze crisis: The 10-month suspension of building in the settlements will not be extended and the prime minister has given up nothing. Peace talks with the Palestinians will continue, the coalition is as strong as ever, and the government enjoys some freedom of movement regarding the settlers and the U.S. administration.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, his threats to the contrary, will not scuttle the peace talks that have barely begun just because Netanyahu isn’t extending the freeze. U.S. President Barack Obama, preaching for the moratorium to continue, can’t force it on Netanyahu on the eve of the congressional elections when his party’s leaders are calling for negotiations to continue without regard to the settlements.

Abbas and Obama will swallow...

Gulf Stream Has Stalled, A Consequence Of BP Oil Spill?

If this story is true the consequences could be devastating for America and the world. Nobody can tell what weather changes will be. Gulf Loop Current Stalls Due to BP Oil Leak

Pure Energy Systems News

This could be the most significant man-caused Earth Changes news thus far in my lifetime. This morning, Lesie Pastor informed the New Energy Congress of a report by Your Own World USA that as of July 28,

Oceanographic satellite data now shows that the Loop Current in the Gulf of Mexico has stalled as a consequence of the BP oil spill disaster. This according to Dr. Gianluigi Zangari, an Italian theoretical physicist, and major complex and chaotic...

MoveOn.org Has Been Destroyed

Remnant of MoveOn.org is a walking corpse on life support
by Bill Levinson

A little more than four years ago, our friend Jan Poller brought to our attention MoveOn.org’s sponsorship of the worst imaginable anti-Semitic hate speech on its moderator-controlled Action Forum. We proclaimed our intention to destroy MoveOn.org just as we destroyed the Million Mom March in 2000–in that case by exposing its misuse of 501(c)(3) tax exempt money to support a political campaign. We, Jan Poller, and Robert Goldberg exposed MoveOn.org’s hate speech such as “Jew Lieberman,” “whining arrogant Jew,” “the Catholics are raping your children,” and so on.

The result was that MoveOn.org had to disable its prized Action Forum, one of its most effective recruiting and organizing tools, to prevent people from seeing the hate speech its moderators welcomed. MoveOn.org was saved from outright destruction only because Ira Forman of the National...
