Journalist Reveals The PA’s ‘Palestine Plot’

“The more people who understand what is going on, the better our chance of beating this plot.”

Behind this endless game lies an important consideration: What happens the day after the talks fail? What is the alternative plan? Unlike Israel, Elitzur says, the PA has such a plan: To back Israel into a corner and get Netanyahu to agree to borders of a Palestinian state

by David Lev

“There’s a method to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas’ ongoing refusal to negotiate seriously with Israel”, journalist Uri Elitzur told Israelnationalnews in an interview – “and unfortunately, his plan has a relatively good chance of succeeding”.

Elitzur laid out the plot in the weekend edition of Hebrew newspaper Mekor Rishon, of which he is one of the editors, last Friday. “The PA’s insistence that it will walk out of the talks if Israel ends the building freeze in Judea and Samaria” he says, “is a political gambit for something Abbas and...

Abbas secretly engages Hamas terror chiefs in Damascus

US scramble to save talks
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report September 25, 2010,

Deep in the gloom behind frantic US efforts to rescue the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks from collapsing when Israel’s 10-month construction freeze runs out Sunday, Sept. 26, debkafile’s counter-terror sources report a new stumbling block has appeared on the diplomatic track.

In New York, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pressed Abbas Friday, Sept. 24, not to walk out of the talks with Israel after only two sessions. Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who delayed his return home, and negotiator Yitzhak Molcho met with US and Palestinian officials to join the effort. They all appeared to be struggling for a compromise on the settlement construction issue that would keep Abbas talking, without compromising the government’s position at home.

In fact, they found themselves grappling with a new impediment: This week, Abbas sent a high-ranking delegation of his own Fatah party to...

Israelis May need To Rethink If American Conservatives Are Really Our Friends

Krautthammer is now on my dump list. How many more will need to be added? The more I learn and the more conservatives I vet, I am coming around to agreeing with Debbie Schlussel. Real conservatives are those who are consistent and principled above all else. Yamit

Krauthammer’s Blind Eye
by Dan Friedman

If this Krauthammer is where neoconservatives are, we may have to take a deep breath and a step away.

A fortnight doesn’t go by without someone on the email circuit – perhaps me – sending around a Charles Krauthammer column. Usually the subject is Obama or Israel, or both, as is the case with Friday’s Rosh Hashana
Is there any limit to your patience with the Arabs?
piece “Your move, Mr. Abbas.” In what some might consider a surprise, the neoconservative Krauthammer looks down approvingly upon Obama’s efforts to bring peace to the Middle East. “The Obama administration is to be commended for structuring the latest rounds of...

Clinton opens Alternatives to Two-State Solution

Belman. Singer has long proposed the “Jordan is Palestine” solution.. I agree with him that this solution enables Judea and Samaria are divided in rational manner. All that is needed is the political will. At the moment the two state solution cannot move forward because of Arab insistence on 100% of the land. The expanded Jordan would easily be able to absorb all Palestinian refugees. Most already live in Jordan.

No mention is made here regarding Gaza. Israel should annex it and Jordan should take in the refugees now living in Gaza and perhaps most of the population. It would be great to destroy the Iranian proxy. Then there would be peace.

Melanie Phillips wrote Jordan is Palestine. She makes a very good historical case.

American Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has publicly canvassed the possibility of considering alternative solutions on the future sovereignty of the West Bank as the current negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority...

“We are all getting poorer in hopes that a few don’t get richer.”

A Nation of Peasants?
By Victor Davis Hanson

Traditional peasant societies believe in only a limited good. The more your neighbor earns, the less someone else gets. Profits are seen as a sort of theft. They must be either hidden or redistributed. Envy rather than admiration of success reigns.

In contrast, Western civilization began with a very different ancient Greek idea of an autonomous citizen, not an indentured serf or subsistence peasant. The small, independent landowner — if left to his own talents and if his success was protected by, and from, government — would create new sources of wealth for everyone. The resulting greater bounty for the poor soon trumped their old jealousy of the better off.

Citizens of ancient Greece and Italy soon proved more prosperous and free than either the tribal folk to the north and west, or the imperial subjects to the south and east. The success of later Western civilization in general, and America in particular, is testament...

Bill Clinton’s Bigoted Remarks

Laura: Bill Clinton claims Russian immigrants to Israel are the obstacle to peace. Someone needs to explain to Bill Clinton that the obstacle to peace are the Jew-hating islamic nazis who refuse to accept the existence of a Jewish state within any borders. Having dealt with them and gone through similar fruitless peace processes in which offers were turned down by the PA, he ought to know better. However, like all liberals, he simply refuses to hold the muslim arabs accountable and will ALWAYS put the blame on Israel no matter how many concessions Israel makes and which the “palestinians” respond with more terror. And no matter how much incitement to hatred and violence against Jews occurs in the “palestinian” media, mosques and schools. Liberals are morally deficient and cannot distinguish between good and evil.
