In sharp contrast with former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair's clear-eyed view, President Obama's troubling rhetoric may be feeding the myth that feeds Islamist terrorism, according to this essay.
The craven State Department spokesman told reporters that while the U.S. believes in Sarah Shourd's innocence (of what--straying across the Iraq-Iran border?), the U.S. does not pay "prisoner bail."

Memo to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton: Not every American can afford to pay for a daughter's multimillion-dollar wedding ... or $500,000 bail.
Naturally, the White House and its adoring liberal news organizations will harp on Gingrich's choice of words and accuse him of pandering to the so-called birther fringe of the U.S. electorate that understandably (a) still doubts if the President was born in the United States because of his steadfast refusal to release his long-form birth certificate, and (b) questions his citizenship history in light of the secrecy surrounding his sealed school records--from grade school through law school--which fuels rumors that he may have held Kenyan and Indonesian citizenship, thus disqualifying him from holding the nation's highest office, and at times may have benefitted from foreign student status. His unusual and unexplained trip to Pakistan as an undergraduate student at Columbia University (where almost nobody can recall ever seeing or interacting with him) has made Obama seem even more mysterious, more alien, to many Americans.
Be that as it may, as the son of a Kenyan exchange student, Obama can be considered the first Third World-American U.S. President. More important, his outlook seems decidedly Third World--as in left-wing and fundamentally anti-Western--having been shaped, apparently, by his upbringing in Indonesia, where he studied and practiced Islam, his own experiences in Kenya, where he campaigned for his controversial, pro-Islamist cousin, Raila Odinga, the country's current prime minister, a 20-year affiliation with Black Liberation Theology, which divides the world between two warring camps--oppressors and victims--and years of exposure to and support from the Nation of Islam, which seeks to apply the colonial model to U.S. race relations, and prominent Palestinian activists, for whom the beleaguered State of Israel--America's strategic ally and the only democracy in the Middle East--is a colonial outpost destined for destruction.
Not for nothing did Hamas endorse Obama during the 2008 Presidential campaign.
Rasmussen Reports: "Thirty-nine percent (39%) of U.S. voters expect America's relationship with Muslims worldwide to be worse one year from now, a level reached only twice before--after failed Islamic terrorist attempts--and the most pessimistic assessment in 15 months of surveying on the question."

Nationalism is a beast the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) did not create, but has often tried to use to it’s benefit. Still, use of this tool is tempered by the ever present Chinese fear of chaos (luàn:乱). A potential disaster scenario for the party is one which it finds itself on the wrong side of nationalist fervor, seen as having made China “lose face” before foreign powers, especially Japan or the United States. This potential danger is balanced by the fact it is better to keep the Chinese public’s angst focused internationally rather than on the CCP elites in Zhongnanhai, especially over issues of corruption; inflation; and unemployment....
In an apparently desperate attempt to attract readers of any sort, and at any cost, regardless of the possible damage the effort may cause to the little that remains of its journalistic reputation, America's dying--but still dangerous--notoriously biased, liberal news magazine, Time, has stooped to trading in anti-Semitic propaganda reminiscent of Nazi Germany and Czarist Russia, in the context of an ever-escalating editorial war on Israel. Time has targeted the Jewish State for annihilation, all at once or stage-by-stage. Demonization is a critically important element in the ongoing campaign, in which Time has plenty of allies--a key to the plot to delegitimize and isolate Israel ahead of its hoped-for, actual eradication.
