Saturday, 25 September 2010 09:22 This film explores the evolution of propaganda and public relations in the United States, with an emphasis on the "elitist theory of democracy" and the relationship between war, propaganda and class. Saturday, 25 September 2010 09:07 'Just because we hit that that big round-numbered milestone of $1300/oz this morning, don’t think that we’re at the peak of a gold bubble. That’s at least how David Rosenberg sees it: It may be overbought on a near-term technical basis, but gold — now on the precipice of breaking above $1,300/oz — is likely to remain in this secular uptrend for quite a while longer. We’re talking years. We’re still talking $3,000/oz. Gold has made this transition this year away from being a strict commodity towards a role befitting a monetary metal that is no government’s liability. Look at what is happening around the world.' The smallest possible bomb-like object would be a single critical mass of plutonium (or U-233) at maximum density under normal conditions. The Pu-239 weighs 10.5 kg and is 10.1 cm across. It doesn’t take much more than a single critical mass to cause significant explosions ranging from 10-20 tons. These types of weapons can also be as big as two footlockers.' Saturday, 25 September 2010 08:00 ' "Terrorism" concerns necessarily hinge on fear, and it is now completely predictable that an otherwise unpopular Obama Administration would roll out the threat of terror to bolster support for the 2010 elections. The Washington Post reports that the "Risk of small-scale attacks by al-Qaeda and its allies is rising, officials say" in concert with comments from Obama about absorbing a terror attack, and hyperbolic comments by Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano before Congress that al Qaeda is recruiting for homeland attacks.' The truth is that banks take the profits that could have been used to better maintain the society if only the people's money was issued by governments through state-owned banks, as was the case, for a time, in both Australia and the US. What private banks have set up is actually the world's largest pyramid scheme, in which new people must always be going into debt in order that others obtain the currency they need to function within the economy. Within such a system, total indebtedness must continue to increase in order to provide the money that people need in an ever more productive society.' Yes, you read it right. Lula's Workers party and some of their lapdog organizations are defending what they call "social control" of the media. Social control for them, is the creation of Soviets, comprised in their entirety of Communist groups, which would decide what to publish. This comes in direct response to Media exposure of Party misdeeds. Contrary to the law, Lula is campaigning for his chosen successor, Dilma Roisseff, at state expense. Instead of acting as an impartial magistrate, he is engaged in insulting the opposition and declaring that Brazil history started when he took control. He has been fined several times.' Saturday, 25 September 2010 07:15 “Pan’s Labyrinth” is a profound movie telling the story of a young girl’s quest to escape the cruelties of Spanish Fascism. The movie also contains a great amount of occult and archetypal symbols telling another story: one of esoteric illumination through test of character and ritual initiation. We will look at the occult and archetypal symbolism found throughout the movie and their relation with Ofelia’s quest.' Florida's foreclosure mills being what they are, the checks and balances against erroneous foreclosure have eroded to the point where banks can seize and sell homes they have no interest in.' 'The pyramid is highlighted in red, and its two diagonals are extended beyond the end of the pyramid to the north-east and north-west. The mass of squiggly lines above the pyramid is the Delta of the Nile River, and, as you can see the two diagonals encase the Nile neatly and entirely. IS THAT A COINCIDENCE???
Yes, I'm sure that the way the Egyptians did this was to have someone walk hundreds of miles to the end of the delta and hold a really, really long piece of string while someone walked all the way back to the site of the pyramid. Then, those two people stood there while two more people repeated the process on the other side of the Pyramid. Just so that they could build a big building in such a way that its diagonals lie on those two lines.'

'Yes, it’s time to get radical on the economy and no, I’m not talking about going full Karl Marx — the politicians in Washington appear well down THAT road.. The next set of bailouts could run $30 trillion (as I’ll explain in a bit) and that’s probably not the end of it because all the future government entitlements are well over $100 trillion. This is not only unaffordable, any attempt to make good on even a small portion of this is a fool’s errand. In addition to attempting an impossible task that is doomed to fail, we’re bailing out the wrong people! Hopefully, this article will get you thinking — feel free to leave a comment and help our discussion.'

'Terrorists could be identified by a brainwave test that detects concealed information about an imminent attack, according to a study by psychologists from Northwestern University in Chicago.
The test, a sophisticated version of the now-discredited polygraph (or lie-detector) test, is based on the so-called guilty knowledge test developed in the 1950s. Whereas the traditional lie detector test involves asking the suspect whether or not they committed the crime in question, the guilty knowledge test focuses on specific details that would only be known to the perpetrator.'

'The Public Health Agency of Canada has once again given their seal of approval for the injection of a dangerous cocktail of toxic chemicals they call a trivalent vaccine. The 2010/11 recipients of AstraZeneca’s FLUMIST will be exposed to several strains of live viruses including H1N1 and H3N2. The vaccine also contains MSG and other known neurotoxins and immunotoxins.
Similar to last year’s Arepanrix Vaccine, FLUMIST was approved without evaluating its safety and effectiveness on a single Canadian.'

'As Shropshire`s Chief Executive, Kim Ryley was responsible for a prodigious waste of public money and police time in instigating a High Court hearing on 1st July at a secret family court in London involving the Council`s attack on Down`s Syndrome rape victim Hollie Greig, her mother Anne and legal representative Robert Green. Kim Ryley was also responsible for the raid and ransacking of the ladies`home on 3rd June on the ludicrous grounds that Hollie was a "missing person", when there were no reasonable grounds for this assumption. Ryley`s officials also misled West Mercia Police into believing that Hollie, now aged 30, was under the care of Shropshire Council.
This whole exercise has been carried out at the expense of the Shropshire taxpayer, despite the fact that the atrocities against Hollie were committed in Aberdeen. The sums already used are undisclosed, but must be very large and such is the complexity of the case that the final legal bill is likely to run into millions, much of it funded by the people of Shropshire.
The Daily Mail article further reveals a cavalier attitude by Mr Ryley towards spending other people`s money on his own adventures. Perhaps the Shropshire taxpayers might like to offer their opinions about all this?'

Teachers are being forced to report children as young as three to the authorities for using alleged ‘racist’ language, it was claimed last night. Munira Mirza, a senior advisor to London Mayor Boris Johnson, said schools were being made to spy on nursery age youngsters by the Race Relations Act 2000. More than a quarter of a million children have been accused of racism since it became law, she said.'

'Members of anti-war groups in the United States say they are being harassed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation because of their opposition to US-led wars. "The FBI is harassing anti-war organizers and leaders, folks who opposed US intervention in the Middle East and Latin America," Minneapolis anti-war activists Mick Kelley told AP on Friday.
Early on Wednesday, the FBI raided eight homes in Minneapolis and Chicago as part of a terrorism investigation. They reportedly confiscated computer files, photographs, notebooks, and Kelley's diaries.'

'The Queen asked ministers for a poverty handout to help heat her palaces but was rebuffed because they feared it would be a public relations disaster, documents disclosed under the Freedom of Information Act reveal.
Royal aides were told that the £60m worth of energy-saving grants were aimed at families on low incomes and if the money was given to Buckingham Palace instead of housing associations or hospitals it could lead to "adverse publicity" for the Queen and the Government.
Aides complained to ministers in 2004 that the Queen's gas and electricity bills, which had increased by 50 per cent that year, stood at more than £1m a year and had become "untenable".'

'Queen Elizabeth II, head of state of the United Kingdom and of 31 other states and territories, is the legal owner of about 6,600 million acres of land, one sixth of the earth’s non ocean surface.
She is the only person on earth who owns whole countries, and who owns countries that are not her own domestic territory. This land ownership is separate from her role as head of state and is different from other monarchies where no such claim is made – Norway, Belgium, Denmark etc.
The value of her land holding. £17,600,000,000,000 (approx).'
