READ THE NEWS ON ONE CLICK 1. WikiLeaks Publishes Pager Intercepts From 9/11 Tragedy READ THE NEWS ON ONE CLICK
http://www.theoneclickgroup.co.uk
From 3AM on Wednesday November 25, 2009, until 3AM the following day (US east coast time), WikiLeaks released half a million US national text pager intercepts. The intercepts cover a 24 hour period surrounding the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York and Washington. The messages were broadcasted "live" to the global community — sychronized to the time of day they were sent. The first message was from 3AM September 11, 2001, five hours before the first attack, and the last, 24 hours later. Text pagers are usually carried by persons operating in an official capacity. Messages in the archive range from Pentagon, FBI, FEMA and New York Police Department exchanges, to computers reporting faults at investment banks inside the World Trade Center. The archive is a completely objective record of the defining moment of our time. We hope that its entrance into the historical record will lead to a nuanced understanding of how this event led to death , opportunism and war.

2. Get With The International Programme! Free Bradley Manning Action Days, September 16 – 19
Bradley Manning, imprisoned in isolation since May 2010
Accused of leaking a classified US military combat video showing the gunning down of Iraqi civilians (released to the world by WikiLeaks as “Collateral Murder”), Pfc Bradley Manning has been held in isolation since May 2010 and faces 52 years imprisonment. With concerns high for this young man’s fate, events held as part of the International Days of Action will call for the withdrawal of charges laid against Bradley Manning and his immediate release. Rallying to the slogan “Exposing war crimes is not a crime,” supporters maintain that a young man’s life should not be destroyed for a courageous act of conscience. As Israel and the US ready themselves to attack Iran — endangering the world with an insane escalation of hostilities in the Persian Gulf — the relevance of the issues for which Bradley Manning has become an icon are acutely intensified. Soldiers who try to raise issues of war crimes in the field wit h their superiors are systematically and sometimes brutally silenced, while those who cannot remain silent by the nature of their conscience are persecuted severely if discovered. Pfc. Bradley Manning, acclaimed as a hero by Daniel Ellsberg (the man who leaked the Pentagon Papers during the Vietnam War), is a perfect example. This is, at its heart, an issue of truth in public media.

3. Hannah Poling: $20M Lifetime Compensation For Autism-Vaccine Damage
Nine-year-old Hannah Poling: $20 million
lifetime compensation from vaccine damage
The first court award in a vaccine-autism claim is a big one. CBS News has learned the family of Hannah Poling will receive more than $1.5 million dollars for her life care; lost earnings; and pain and suffering for the first year alone. In addition to the first year, the family will receive more than $500,000 per year to pay for Hannah's care. Those familiar with the case believe the compensation could easily amount to $20 million over the child's lifetime. Hannah was described as normal, happy and precocious in her first 18 months. Then, in July 2000, she was vaccinated against nine diseases in one doctor's visit: measles, mumps, rubella, polio, varicella, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, and Haemophilus influenzae. Afterward, her health declined rapidly. She developed high fevers, stopped eating, didn't respond when spoken to, began showing signs of autism, and began having screaming fits. In 2002, Hannah's parents filed an autism claim in federal vacci ne court. Five years later, the government settled the case before trial and had it sealed. It's taken more than two years for both sides to agree on how much Hannah will be compensated for her injuries.

4. Yet Another New Study Finds Flu Vaccines To Be Noxious Rubbish
Italian researchers found that influenza vaccine did not reduce risk of severe complications from influenza viral infection such as in-hospital death, influenza or pneumonia admission in elderly people. The finding came after Manzoli L. and colleagues from the University G. d'Annunzio of Chieti in Italy examined data from 32,457 elderly people of whom 66.2 percent received influenza vaccine. Using either bivariate or multivariate analysis, the researchers found that vaccination did not significantly reduce the risk of in-hospital death, influenza or pneumonia admission. A recent Japanese trial has found that taking high doses of Vitamin D may help reduce the incidence of flu in school children. Vitamin D is known to help produce antimicrobial peptides which are involved in innate immunity against viruses and viral diseases. Editor's note: For your information, Food Consumer is the first to report the study.

5. FDA Expands Market For Another Toxic Antipsychotic
According to a report by the Associated Press, the FDA has approved expanded use of Merck's toxic antipsychotic drug, Saphris, for treating acute manic-depressive behavior in adults. Antipsychotics (neuroleptics) are a controversial class of drugs: Risperdal (approved in 1993), Zyprexa (1994), Seroquel (1997), Abilify (2002), and Saphris (2009). These drugs' safety hazards have been documented over the years of their use. They all carry FDA's strongest warning label highlighted by a Black Box. FDA officials appear to be rubber-stamping approval of UNSAFE TOXIC drugs that increase risk of death and debilitating, irreversible adverse effects. Has FDA's mission undergone a radical shift from protecting the American public by ensuring that only SAFE and EFFECTIVE drugs are approved for marketing, in order to facilitate corporate profits and agency income from user fees?

6. Deadly GlaxoSmithKline Drug Dealer Cover Up: Regulators And Journalists All Guilty
For the second time in about 3 years, diabetes treatment drug rosiglitazone (Avandia, GlaxoSmithKline) is under fire as a result of a research article published in a respected medical journal. In 2007, the link between Avandia and myocardial infarction or heart attacks was published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Last week, the British Medical Journal published a comprehensive examination of the GlaxoSmithKline/Avandia hide and seek drama. The BMJ article, "Riglitazone: What went wrong" probes why the drug was ever allowed on the market and why the drug was tolerated well after it was known the drug increased risk of heart failure. The final answer is broad: drug maker GlaxoSmithKline, regulators, clinicians, and journals are all accountable in the Avandia case.

7. Thug In Police Uniform Punched And Kicked Civil Servant, IPCC Refused To Act
Mark Andrews, jailed police thug abuse history exposed
The police sergeant jailed after he was caught on CCTV flinging an innocent woman on to a concrete cell floor was investigated two years previously over another alleged assault. Keith Turner, 52, said he was punched and kicked by Mark Andrews in 2006. The incident was investigated by senior officers under the supervision of the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), but no action was taken against Andrews and he was allowed to continue working. Civil servant Mr Turner, from Warminster, Wiltshire, needed hospital treatment after the alleged assault. Two officers accused of lying by a judge to help Andrews can be named today. PC Mark McIntyre and Acting Sergeant Kate Smith appeared in defence of Andrews, who last week appealed against his conviction. Yesterday a police spokesman said: ‘Two officers will be receiving words of advice from a senior officer on how to present their evidence.’

8. UK Social Services Scandal - Another Forced Adoption Cover-Up
Many loving families have been torn apart by forced adoptions
Last Monday, I was alerted in quick succession by John Hemming MP and Ian Josephs, who runs the Forced Adoption website, to a shocking new case in which social workers were about to seize a newly born baby for no more reason than their claim that it might be “at risk of emotional abuse”. Just for once, because no court papers had yet been issued, I would be able to report this case in detail, naming names and explaining why it appeared to be yet another appalling miscarriage of justice. I spoke at length to the horrified mother, who told me how the local social workers wanted to remove her child which, since it was born prematurely three weeks ago, is still in a hospital intensive care unit. The next day, however, the court papers arrived, imposing a complete blanket of secrecy. It seems the social workers were terrified that the mother might try to remove her baby from the hospital, even though it is still in intensive care and electronically tagged to set off alarm systems should anyone be silly enough to attempt such a thing. This means I cannot even report the name of the council whose employees are responsible for this scandal. One Click Note: It is high time that extremely soon, one of the many politicians and journalists who hold details of these scandalous cases will have the courage to either individually or collectively stick head above parapet and publish what they know for the greater good. Have they never heard of the internet? Whilst doing so may risk contempt of court, not doing so shows even more contempt for the innocent families torn apart by UK Social Services that are notorious for being completely out of control.

9. Chancellor's Secret Plan To Slash Welfare Bill By £2.5bn Devastates UK Sick & Disabled
George Osborne MP, vicious attack on society's most vulnerable
(Caption Courtesy Of One Click)
Secret plans to slash the welfare bill by £2.5bn for people who are disabled or too ill to work are being up drawn up by the chancellor, George Osborne, documents leaked to the Observer reveal. Details of the plan, spelled out in a confidential letter from Osborne to Iain Duncan Smith, the work and pensions secretary, sparked a furious row as Labour accused the coalition government of targeting "the most vulnerable people in the country" with "shocking, arbitrary cuts". The letter, written by Osborne on 19 June to Duncan Smith and circulated to David Cameron and Nick Clegg, will fuel mounting concerns that the government's assault on spending – and particularly Osborne's determination to slash the cost of welfare – will hit those on the lowest incomes the hardest. Jim Knight, the shadow employment minister, said: "We see the Tories and Lib Dems are conspiring to take thousands of pounds from the most vulnerabl e."

10. Execrable Action for ME Charity - Cynical Public Relations?
UK charity law is a complex area within which Action for ME, AfME has sought to use what could best be described as linguistic gymnastics to deny members of Action for ME, AfME the right to attend meetings or to speak at those meetings or to vote on policy matters and also most critically to elect a Board of Trustees who would be representative of the membership of AfME. AfME’s claim that members of the charity Action for ME are not able to attend General Meetings, or to speak or to vote, or to elect a Board of Trustees because members of the charity are not members of the company Action for ME is untrue, false, illogical and has been used as an illegal instrument to deny AfME’s members the legal and democratic rights that we are entitled to. Action for ME says it wants to become more democratic and accountable in AfME’s latest edition of InterAction, AfME’s in-house magazine. If so, does AfME really intend to change, and are they ready to change, or is this a cynical Public relations exercise designed to stave off justifiable criticism that they are undemocratic, unrepresentative, uncaring, and non-transparent and only represent the views of the very select self-appointed Board of Trustees who patronising make decisions behind closed doors that they presume must be applicable to their members without the consultation or participation of their membership?
