Yes they will, say China Confidential analysts; the Left is ironically and hopelessly in bed with right-wing political Islam, cynically and stupidly seeing the clerical fascist creed as a useful ally in the Left's long war against capitalism and American power and influence. Leftists and liberals also regard Islam as a Third World faith--the religion of the poor and the underprivileged--and therefore automatically worthy of support and respect, regardless of the atrocities and barbaric acts carried out in its name and the intolerance and repression that seem inherent in a religion that has resisted reform.
Not since the Hitler-Stalin pact have so many so-called progressives behaved so badly.
