I just got back. Ihad TIVO'ed Diane Sawyer and ABC 's crack team's report on Islam. Forgive me for suggesting you watch it. What crap. Dangerous garbage. I hpe America sees through this proselytizing to Islam. I am a half hour into this surrender stupidity and I wish to offer my apology for even posting about it. Sawyer spent the first half hour completely whiteashing Islam and advancing a fallacious Islamic supremacist narrative, da'wah. She got nothing right on Islam. Nothing. This is da'wah - invitation to Islam. Sawyer and co. has tossed concretes and history out the window to surrender to the Islamic supremacist narrative. Ugh. ABC taped close to three hours of interviews with me (more with travel etc.) and they broadcast none of it.A deliberate waste of five hours of my precious time. Yes, islam is better to women than the West. Yes, there is no jihad, the millions of victims slaughtered are an incidental (but not mentionable) historical footnote. Shut off your TVs. Reject your surrender by proxy. UPDATE: Write ABC. The only lucid and accurate moment in this piece of propaganda were the great Americans who video-ed their questions in. They get it. CNN, you have a problem. In another Jew-hating gaffe, a well known CNN anchor has been terminated over outrageous, hateful remarks about Jews. Who can forget Octavia Nasr, who was forced to resign after tweeting about weeping over the the death of grand jihadist Hezb'Allah Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah? This is systemic. And it should be raising red flags in media corporate offices. You have a problem. And so does Jon Stewart; he shills for these goons and their ideology. As for Sanchez, I am sure one of CNN's satellites or the kindred [anti]spirits over at al-jizz will pick up this human stain. BREAKING: Rick Sanchez Fired From CNN CNN released this statement today: (Over at mediaite) “Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well.“ They will broadcast CNN Newsroom from 3-5pm for the foreseeable future. Here’s more from the story earlier today: The big takeaway – Sanchez calls Stewart “a bigot,” then walks it back a bit, and he implies CNN is run by Jews. Dominick was not just a radio show host – he is a CNN contributor who has a regular gig on John King, USA (more on that below), and he formerly was the warm up comic at The Daily Show. Which is why when Sanchez says “I think Jon Stewart’s a bigot” early in the interview, Dominick pushed back: Dominick: How is he a bigot? As I said here, Amanpour does not disappoint her masters. Look who she has on her "panel" on Sunday. What a clueless, self-important asshat she is. Check out the piece Robert Spencer just posted: Atlas readers, caption this Goebbels-like propagandist. "Am I as greasy as my hair? No, I am greasier!" As I noted here, Wednesday night I took part in Christiane Amanpour's jihad whitewash on ABC's "This Week" show. It will run at 11AM Eastern on Sunday morning, but I won't be watching, as Amanpour was enthusiastically fronting for the Islamic supremacists and dissemblers throughout the whole program. You can see here about how Amanpour cut off discussion of how Daisy Khan of the Ground Zero mega-mosque initiative was flagrantly lying. Perhaps Amanpour has no trouble with departures from truth and accuracy, if she saw and approved this press release/news article about the show, as it is riddled with exaggerations and inaccuracies: "Amanpour to Host Special Town Hall; Locale Undisclosed," by Betsy Rothstein for Media Bistro, September 30: This gives the false impression that the debate will be broadcast live. Actually, it was taped on Wednesday evening. It was live then, to be sure, but it went on for two hours, and they're going to cut it down to one. Plus, they filmed me walking out of my hotel room and in a brief interview in a cab going to the location of the debate, and I understand they did such filming with all the other panelists as well. So of the two hours filmed, probably about 45 minutes will be used, and judging from Amanpour's relentless bias throughout the taping, I am sure that those who were assigned to be on the "fear Islam" side will come off as poorly as the editors can possibly manage. Also, the whole show was wrongly framed in the first place. I do not believe that Americans should fear Islam. I believe that all free people should recognize the threat to freedom posed by Islamic supremacism, and act to defend the freedoms threatened by the jihad -- notably the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and the equality of rights of all people before the law. That is not a matter of fear. The response to Islamic supremacism should not be fear, but resolution, determination, courage, and perseverance. A ridiculous hype bubble, which under the circumstances I am happy to puncture: the town hall was filmed Wednesday evening between 7 and 9PM at ABC's studios on 44th Street in Times Square. I didn't see any security guards present, but there was a whole studio full of invited audience members. An ABC producer told me beforehand that I could invite five people to be in the audience. There were three panelists on each side, so if each one had invited five guests, that would have filled the audience with thirty people, equally divided on the issue. But there were about 150 people in the studio, and easily 140 of them were enthusiastically on the side of Daisy Khan and Reza Aslan. Where did they all come from? Were the "fearers of Islam" allowed to bring five guests each while the "non-fearers of Islam" allowed to bring fifteen or twenty each? I don't have any direct information on that, but it would certainly explain the makeup of the crowd. A nasty cheap shot revealing that Media Bistro too employs propagandizing pseudo-journalists. The town hall meeting airs Sunday, October 3 on "This Week with Christiane Amanpour." Other special guests... Reza Aslan, Contributing Editor of The Daily Beast and Author of "No god but God," and "Beyond Fundamentalism" And so to Reza Aslan. Amanpour had clearly arranged for Aslan to appear on the show via video hookup from Amsterdam at least in part in order to smear me -- at one point she mentioned that I was co-founder of Stop Islamization of America, but instead of going to me for comment, or even to ask me some pointed question, she said that Aslan had background on the roots of the Stop Islamization movement in Europe, and went to him. Aslan then lied outright, claiming that the movement was neo-Nazi, and slinging charge after unsubstantiated charge that I was a bigot, a hatemonger, a racist, a pseudo-scholar, an eater of babies, etc. When I tried to respond, Amanpour put her finger to her lips and shushed me, although I went on anyway -- I doubt, however, that my responses will make the broadcast version. At one point I was able to note that the Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf of the Ground Zero mega-mosque initiative openly called for restrictions on the freedom of speech in his book What's Right with Islam -- whereupon Aslan, to the great delight of the crowd, asked, "Who doesn't realize that freedom of speech is not unlimited?" He elided, of course, the distinction between legitimate restrictions on free speech -- calling for the murder of individuals, etc. -- and the kinds of restrictions that Rauf meant: as an open advocate for Sharia, Rauf would doubtless favor the Organization of the Islamic Conference's campaign to limit discussion of Islam and jihad in the West, rendering us mute and defenseless before the advancing jihad. In coming out for restrictions on freedom of speech when that is unmistakably what was meant, Aslan revealed his little totalitarian heart and eagerness to serve as an apologist for oppression. Some of the smears Aslan hurled Wednesday night are in a piece he wrote on September 9 for the Daily Beast about our September 11 Rally of Remembrance against the Ground Zero mega-mosque, "The Charlatans Have Taken Over 9/11." I ignored it at the time it came out, as it is just a tissue of defamation and lies, but now that ABC is going to give this sleazy smear merchant a platform on Sunday morning, I thought a response was in order. There is little of substance in the piece; Aslan prefers to deal in vitriol, and the Daily Beast's header starts the smears off in style: So now standing with the 70% of Americans who believe that the Ground Zero mega-mosque is an insult makes you an "opportunist." Standing for freedom and equality for all against Islamic supremacism and Sharia, which denies the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and equality of rights for all, makes you "anti-Muslim," as well as "infamous" and guilty of spreading "hate." Meanwhile, carrying water for an oppressive ideology that silences dissidents and enslaves women is multicultural and broad-minded. Got it. Aslan then begins with a barrage of smear words, semaphoring to his besotted hard-Left easy-mark readers at the Daily Beast that the people who are behind the resistance to the Ground Zero mega-mosque are The Enemy: None of these labels have any actual substance. Aslan could just as well have written "The international gathering of bad guys and poopyheads that will gather at ground zero Sunday..." That is about the intellectual level at which he operates anyway. In reality, the Rally was in defense of American principles of liberty and justice for all, against the Islamic supremacist imperative that would deny liberty and justice to all. And it is clear which side Reza Aslan is on. More "poopyheads" rhetoric from Aslan follows: Stop Islamization of America is an offshoot of a European neo-Nazi organization called Stop Islamization of Europe, whose motto is "Racism is the lowest form of human stupidity, but Islamophobia is the height of common sense." The American wing of the organization, which is also behind some of the mosque protests taking place all across the country, is headed by two fringe figures, Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer. There is, of course, nothing neo-Nazi about SIOE, and its motto is merely making the point that to resist Islamic supremacism is not racism, and that it is reasonable to be concerned about the advance of Islamic supremacism in the West. I don't personally like the motto, as it is open to being misinterpreted -- as Aslan does, probably willfully, here. He wants his hapless readers to believe that SIOE means that people should cultivate bigotry and hatred toward innocent Muslims, when in reality it's quite obvious that they mean resisting the advance of the jihad. Here again, in Reza Aslan we're not dealing here with a writer who is interested in playing fair or presenting a reasoned argument based on facts. More name-calling: Aslan drops yet another lie. Pamela Geller has never said that she dedicated her life to stopping the spread of Islam in America, and I challenge Reza Aslan to produce this "quote." She has said that she has been dedicated to stopping the spread of political Islam in the U.S., as SIOA's motto reflects: "SIOA is a human rights organization dedicated to freedom of speech, religious liberty, and individual rights; no special rights for special classes." Insofar as elements of Islam are opposed to those freedoms and principles, Pamela Geller is opposed to those elements of Islam. So is Reza Aslan saying that to defend free speech and religious liberty against Sharia, which manifestly denies them both, is to oppose Islam? That would belie his vaunted "moderate" status, no? That's right. Geller is one of the 20 percent of Americans who believe that President Barack Obama is a secret Muslim out to destroy America from inside the White House. "Hussein is a Muhammadan," Geller writes in one post about the president, using his middle name. Another post warns Americans that "The president of the United States is advancing jihad against the oath of office that he took." That Obama is advancing the Islamic agenda, whether or not he is Muslim himself, is so abundantly clear from his policies, and so widely understood today, that it is rather staggering that Aslan would adduce all this as some sort of evidence that Pamela Geller is "the queen nut of the wingnuts." He has bullied Israel, he has coddled Iran, he has said that one of his chief duties as president is to dispel stereotypes of Islam, he has made overtures to Hamas and the Taliban, he has told the NASA chief that one of his principal duties is to make Muslims feel better about themselves -- on and on and on. Aslan doesn't mention that Pamela is also Jewish, as it would interfere with the neo-Nazi smear he is trying to construct. Note also that he doesn't explain the circumstances of any of these things, so as to give the impression further that she is antisemitic. In reality, to call Foxman "extremely conservative" is laughable, and she called him and others "self-hating wretches" for their attacks on Geert Wilders, Rush Limbaugh, evangelical Christians, and other friends of Israel. She attacked J Street for being a George Soros-funded front funded by anti-Israel Muslims. And the Kagan photoshop came after it was revealed thatKagan had cited a German Marxist who became a Nazi when Hitler took power. "If I may be allowed to conjecture"? This whole paragraph was conjecture. He has no evidence -- nor is there any, because it isn't true -- that Gingrich backed out of the rally either because he didn't want to be seen with us or because he didn't want to be seen with Wilders. A responsible journalist might have contacted Gingrich and simply asked him. But we're not talking about a responsible journalist, we're talking about Reza Aslan, a man who confuses a freedom fighter -- Wilders -- with a fascist. You can find an explanation of Wilders's statements on the Qur'an banning here. Note that here Aslan is using a tried-and-true tool of the Left: to simply state their opponents' positions (although I would doubt that his summaries of Wilders's policies are entirely accurate) as if they were self-evidently ridiculous. It certainly saves on the time and trouble of refuting them, but the reader who sees through Aslan's rhetoric will be left with an empty feeling: he hasn't actually done one thing to explain why these policies, insofar as they are presented here accurately, should be rejected. About Buruma's comments, see Hugh Fitzgerald's piece here. And anyway, here again, one's response to stimuli is under one's own control. If you insult me, I do not have to kill you in response. Do Buruma and Reza Aslan think that Muslims are angry animals who must not be provoked, in the name of lowering social tensions? Who's the racist now? Aslan retailed this farrago on the Amanpour show also. It is arrant nonsense. Here again, I challenge this miserable smear merchant to find one place where Pamela Geller or I have ever linked the recession to the global jihad. I have noted the undeniable billions that have been spent since 9/11 to protect Americans and Europeans from Aslan's more violent coreligionists, but I've never said this caused the recession, and as far as I know neither has Pamela Geller. Here again, this man is a base and brazen liar. Talk, talk, talking about Islam. Big media is having at it. I, for one, am glad we are finally having this conversation, a direct result of the national outrage over the Ground Zero mega mosque. It's a dialogue that should have taken place right after 911. But better late than after all is lost. Note to Imam Rauf and Daisy the Con: beware the law of unintended consequences. ABC's Diane Sawyer is doing an in-depth piece on Islam tonight on 20/20 at 10 pm Eastern. More on that here. Watch it. I am interviewed, as is Irshad Manji and face-covered burqa-clad American Muslims. I haven't seen it, but it should be interesting. Sawyer is going to address misconceptions on Islam. I pray she does. 60 Minutes spent close to two hours interviewing me, and we saw what naked shills they turned out to be. Irresponsible and reckless. On Sunday, Christiane Amanpour is following Sawyer's lead. Her propaganda piece for Islamic supremacism is airing this Sunday at 11AM Eastern. We know what we can expect from Amanpour. She will shill for jihad and embarrass non-Muslims, as is her signature narrative, in yet another pathetic and transparent attempt to paint those defending freedom as racistislamophobicantiMuslimbigots. Robert Spencer was on Amanpour's panel. The bias was plain, I am sure. It will be in servitude to Queen Daisy Con. Amanpour has no moral compass, and the galloping sharia would never have advanced so rapidly without tools like her in key senior media positions. I am holding out more hope for Sawyer's piece tonight. We'll see. I strongly urge you to watch it. The Huff Po has this: ABC News announced that it will air two episodes on "Islam in America" in the wake of the controversy over the proposed Islamic center near Ground Zero. An hour-long "20/20" special by Diane Sawyer will air on Friday night. The special, "Diane Sawyer Reporting: Islam -- Questions & Answers," will attempt to answer five questions viewers submitted. They are: "what is Islam? Why do radicals feel violence is justified? Is Western culture at odds with Islam? Where is the moderate Muslim voice? How can we all get along?" It will be Sawyer's first primetime special since taking over the "World News" anchor chair. This Sunday, Christiane Amanpour will host a special episode of "This Week." ABC News said Muslims and non-Muslims will debate issues surrounding Islam in America on the show. Imam Rauf of the Ground Zero mega mosque understands better than most the pivotal role the media plays to deceive, obfuscate and advance Islam. He said here: And there are different geographies, different subject areas, so we have designed our Cordoba Initiative to be designed, in order words we have 5 major areas of our program. So we have foreign policy, is one area, you have communications is another area, you have education as the third area, for example, you have intra-Islamic issues is the fourth area, arts and culture is the fifth area. And lets say this Abrahamic pathwalk may be in the arts and culture, a blend of the arts and culture and you know maybe the religious aspect in some respect, but it’s kind of an interfaith type of activity. Now in the area of foreign policy, you have different issues, number one is the Palestinian conflict, cause if you heal that, you will have contributed a lot. If the entertainment media, the news media, was broadcasted in print, describe and speak about the issues in a different way it can help change perceptions profoundly, because it’s the media, which helps shape perceptions to a great degree. The enemy among us. I am sure Christiane Amanpour is working feverishly to book Masri on her panel on Islam in America, to explain why this is all our fault (or Israel's fault, at the very least). Chicago Man Indicted for Allegedly Attempting to Provide Material Support to a Foreign Terrorist Organization FBI (hat tip Davida) CHICAGO—A Chicago man who was arrested last month for allegedly planning to travel to Somalia and engage in fighting with a foreign terrorist organization, was indicted on the same charges by a federal grand jury, Patrick J. Fitzgerald, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, and Robert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago Office of the FBI, announced today. Shaker Masri, 27, who lived in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, was indicted on one count of attempting to provide material support to al Shabaab, a designated foreign terrorist organization, and one count of attempting to provide material support by use of a weapon of mass destruction outside the United States. He will be arraigned at a later date in U.S. District Court. Masri was arrested on Aug. 3 by members of the Chicago FBI’s Joint Terrorism task Force (JTTF), just hours before he was scheduled to leave Chicago en route to Somalia. Since then, he was ordered detained in federal custody without bond. According to a criminal complaint filed at the time his arrest, Masri, a U.S. citizen, began espousing increasingly violent views to an individual he befriended in early 2009, and later began to openly express a desire to participate in a “jihad” and to fight against what he characterized as “infidels.” During the weeks before his arrest, Masri began to actively plan a trip to Somalia, where he hoped to join the specially designated terrorist group al Shabaab and commit a suicide attack targeting “infidels,” the complaint alleged. This validates, yet again, all that I have been documenting for months. The level of deception and obfuscation by the Imam and his wife Daisy Khan is difficult for those with a Western mindset to grasp. One man's holy man is another man's stealth jihadist. Worse, it is becoming increasingly obvious that the Imam Rauf of the Ground Zero mega mosque of tumbling Stars of Davd and pentagons is a pathological liar. Everything is a lie in order to steal, cheat, or defraud. He lied to fraudulently secure tax-exempt status for one of his Muslim organizations. He lied when he claimed that as many as 500 of its members prayed daily in a small, one-bedroom Upper West Side apartment which was actually his wife's residence (more here). He lied when he took millions from Union City to repair his rat and roach infested slum buildings and kept the money. He is being sued by Union City; they charge that Rauf as a slum landlord of two apartment buildings has repeatedly failed to address complaints by tenants and orders by the city on issues ranging from moldy bathrooms to fire hazards (more here). The suit, filed today in state Superior Court in Jersey City, identifies Rauf as the sole officer of Sage Development LLC, a company based at his home address in North Bergen and listed as the owner of the two buildings. The suit also alleges that Sage’s corporate status was revoked by the state in March 2005, for its failure to file annual reports. He lied when he called it a mosque, then a prayer space, then a mosque, then an Islamic center. He lies when he advocates for "tolerance" when he advocates for the sharia which is radically intolerant. He lies when he says he stands between us and the jihadist, as he is a stealth jihadist. He lies when he says building the Ground Zero mega is "the right thing" and that "America needs it." Lies about Wafa Sultan and Raheel Raza. He is a dangerous liar ....always to defraud and deceive. The GZM will not be what they say it will be. GZM Imam Filed False Tax Form IPT Feisal Abdul Rauf, the leader of the Ground Zero Mosque effort, filed a false federal tax form when he created the Cordoba Initiative, claiming that group had no ties to any other organization although Rauf and his wife led another nonprofit that shared the same directors. On June 14, 2004, IRS records show, the executive director of The Cordoba Initiative, the Rauf-led group that is pushing the effort to build the mosque and community center near the site of the 9/11 attacks, filed an application seeking nonprofit status for Cordoba. In that form, executive director John Bennett said that Cordoba was not "the outgrowth of (or successor to) another organization" and did not have "a special relationship with another organization by reason of interlocking directorates." However, by June 2004, Rauf and his wife, Daisy Khan, had run what is now called the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA) for seven years, federal and New York records show. Incorporation papers for ASMA filed with the state of New York in 1997 list Rauf and Khan as the group's president and secretary, respectively. ASMA was granted church status by the IRS a year later after the group filed another form that listed Rauf as its leader. Khan is now ASMA's executive director, according to the group's website, and Rauf is listed as its founder. ASMA and Cordoba each have interfaith outreach as part of their missions. ASMA is "dedicated to strengthening an authentic expression of Islam" through collaboration and by empowering women and young people. Cordoba serves as Rauf's outreach arm and engages in interfaith dialogue and related outreach programs. The Cordoba tax document, known as a 1023 form, also was checked "no" in answer to another question: "Is the organization financially accountable to any other organization." But that assertion is contradicted by a 2009 financial statement found on ASMA's website that says "ASMA is acting as a fiscal agent and is developing Cordoba's ability to function independently." The applications for non-profit status are signed under the penalty of perjury. But the IRS rarely pursues cases of false statements because it lacks the resources to do so, said Bruce Hopkins, a tax law expert and senior partner at the law firm Polsinelli Shughart. Organizations seeking federal approval to operate as nonprofit groups free from the need to pay taxes must file the 1023 form. Along with answering questions about ties to other groups, the leaders of the prospective nonprofit must also outline their planned activities. Cordoba's leaders said they would spend about 60% of their money in 2004 and 2005 developing and running a series of "dialogues" that would "explore new approaches to peace in the Middle East" and be aimed at "improving relations between the United States and Muslim nations and strengthening democratic institutions within Middle Eastern nations." The June 2004 form listed Rauf as Cordoba's director and board chairman, while Khan was named as a director. Bennett, a former mayor of Aspen, Colo., was named as executive director and a board member. Cordoba officials reported in the 2004 form that they planned to bring in $1.1 million between 2004 and 2006 to pay for their various programs. However, Cordoba's tax filings for those years show it collected only $80,000 in that period. The false 2004 IRS form is part of a pattern of questionable tax filings by Rauf and his two main organizations – ASMA and Cordoba. Europe was lost at Kosovo. This was Wheeler's take back in 2005: The great cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris has been called "the noblest architectural conception of man." Its construction was begun in 1163 by Maurice de Sully (c.1110-1196), the Bishop of Paris, and completed 87 years later in 1250. And my dear colleague and the best investigative journalist who is most informed on Kosovo/Serbia/Bosnia, Julia Gorin, is all over it. From New York to Paris to Mosqow, a Russian Author’s Dystopia is Here Friday in Paris. A hidden camera shows streets blocked by huge crowds of Muslim worshippers and enforced by a private security force. This is all illegal in France: the public worship, the blocked streets, and the private security. But the police have been ordered not to intervene. It shows that even though some in the French government want to get tough with Muslims and ban the burqa, other parts of the French government continue to give Islam a privileged status. An ordinary French citizen who has been watching the Islamization of Paris decided that the world needed to see what was happening to his city. He used a hidden camera to start posting videos on YouTube. His life has been threatened and so he uses the alias of “Maxime Lepante. ” His camera shows that Muslims “are blocking the streets with barriers. They are praying on the ground. And the inhabitants of this district cannot leave their homes, nor go into their homes during those prayers.” “The Muslims taking over those streets do not have any authorization. They do not go to the police headquarters, so it’s completely illegal,” he says. The Muslims in the street have been granted unofficial rights that no Christian group is likely to get under France’s Laicite’, or secularism law. “It says people have the right to share any belief they want, any religion,” Lepante explained. “But they have to practice at home or in the mosque, synagogues, churches and so on.” Some say Muslims must pray in the street because they need a larger mosque. But Lepante has observed cars coming from other parts of Paris, and he believes it is a weekly display of growing Muslim power. “They are coming there to show that they can take over some French streets to show that they can conquer a part of the French territory,” he said. If France faces an Islamic future, a Russian author has already written about it. The novel is called “The Mosque of Notre Dame, 2048,” a bestseller in Russia, not in France. French publisher Jean Robin said the French media ignored the book because it was politically incorrect. “Islam is seen as the religion of the poor people, so you can’t say to the poor people, ‘You’re wrong,’ otherwise, you’re a fascist,” Robin explained. The book lays out a dark future when France has become a Muslim nation, and the famous cathedral has been turned into a mosque. “We were expecting Islam to adapt to France and it is France adapting to Islam,” Robin said. “We cannot accept the development of such practice because it’s not compatible with the life in a modern society, you see,” he said. “And this question is not only a French question. You will all have to face this challenge. “ What the broadcast did not mention about the book The Mosque of Notre Dame, 2048 is the historical event which the author recognized as pivotal for Western civilization and for creating a future in which the Cathedral of Notre Dame is the Mosque of Notre Dame: Kosovo. It’s certainly understandable that a Russian would ‘get’ what Kosovo was all about. All the more so since Moscow today is 15% Muslim and this was the scene in the capital city earlier this month during the Uraza-Bairam holiday. Now, it’s my understanding that so far there are only Serbian and French translations of the Russian book, but below is an excerpt which has been translated into English: Excerpt from “Notre Dame Mosque in Paris: 2048″ by Yelena Chudinova (2005), translated from Russian to Serbian by Ljubinka Milicevic (2006), translated from Serbian to English by Marie-Louis Marti Chapter 3 - Slobodan [”Sloboda” is Serbian for “freedom.”] … It was cold standing on the balcony of the twentieth floor but he didn’t feel like going in to the warm, brightly lit rooms. Paris lay below him, silently sleeping, like always except during Ramadan when the fires in the streets flashed and fluctuated: believers admiring the view of the Seine with Al Fraconi Mosque, which was once Notre Dame, sat until dawn in the luxurious Monde Arabe restaurant, in Maxim’s or Procope….Luckily, Ramadan was over. Paris nights were unpopulated. How pleasant the silence was and what a good thing he had chosen an apartment on a high floor, far above the ones where you couldn’t have a window looking out on the street. He wasn’t sleepy; the few remaining hours were too precious. Soon the loudspeakers would be filled with the voices of muezzins, and the devil would set out on patrol through Paris to piss in the ears of believers insufficiently devout to get up for early morning prayers. It’s what you deserve, Frenchmen; good God, didn’t you see it coming? Weren’t you the ones who shaped today with your very own hands? Now you live in what you have created because there is a God. You didn’t know anything about the history of Serbia; you didn’t know anything about Kosovo. You didn’t know how the Serbs died gloriously on the battlefield of Kosovo Polje when the soldiers of Prince Lazarus, defending their cradle, stood on the path of the foul army of Sultan Murad. You didn’t know that Bayazit arrived like a mortal plague, and that the Muslim Albanians followed in his tracks. Five hundred years under the Ottoman Empire! You didn’t know what a scourge the Ottoman Empire was; you didn’t know how much Serb blood was shed to vanquish it. And very few years after the Serbs returned to the banks of the Sitnica River, they were again expelled! Adolf Hitler was the new Bayazit; did you humane Europeans forget about him? Who among those of you that applauded the bombing of Belgrade [in 1999] so much as heard in school that it was none other than Hitler who toppled Serb Peter II and pushed Kosovo into the hands of Albanian Zog I as a gift? And the Albanians descended into Serbian lands like new Bayazits, like hyenas trailing the scent of blood, once again occupying the abandoned homes, once again reaping the crops sown in Serbian fields. And how many armies did Hitler and Mussolini have to keep there in order to make Kosovo Albanian? You Europeans, who make such a big deal of the fact that you founded the Second Front after it was long overdue, did you even bother to thank the Serbs because Draza Mihailovic’s Chetniks began their attack on Hitler’s supporters long before you? [Chetniks were the monarchist anti-Nazi and anti-Communist guerrillas.] What inspired you to help the Albanians establish borders that had been drawn by Hitler; what convinced you to believe so easily the stupidest of lies about Serb bestialities? Yes, obviously, the question is not “what” but “who”. You were poisoned; you were led around on a leash by the Muslim diaspora – and while you, mere toys in the hands of puppeteers, called yourself fighters for something called “human rights” and enlightened humanists – you were nothing more than traitors of Christian civilization. Although you could still read Dostoevsky then; you could have remembered his verses. But today you’ve never heard of Dostoevsky. And it serves you right. Milosevic was a mangy old wolf but you prodded him with red flags, forcing him to retreat over and over again. His soul bears the responsibility for the shameful peace of Dayton but even that was not enough for you. When he finally understood that there was no more room to retreat, war broke out. Oh, how carefully your “peacekeepers” watched to make sure that no Serb dared raise his head! They saw to that but what they didn’t see in 1997 was what was happening under their very noses. And when the KLA snake hatched in their shadow and began to ethnically cleanse Kosovo, not fictionally this time but for real, you were blind, more than blind. Your television channels ran footage of Kosovo Albanians covering the coffins of their fallen comrades with a red flag with a black eagle, the thunder of the honorary gun salutes, the wild peonies swaying over freshly dug graves. While away from the cameras your “heroes” slaughtered Christian families, murdered teachers and priests. And when Milosevic tried to stop it, the bombs flew at Serbia. Churches that existed for almost a thousand years were transformed into ruins under your bombs. Of course, they were not your holy shrines. But what makes you different then from the Afghan Talibans that blow up statues? Milosevic betrayed the Serbs more than once and ultimately, the Serbs betrayed Milosevic. The twentieth century was a brutal one. To our parents who confronted the entire West, Milosevic looked like a paw one could afford to gnaw off in order to escape from bondage. Funny. But your precious, super-civilized Albanians needed Kosovo for their drug trafficking. The amount of money involved was too big; the Serbs didn’t stand a chance. And so peace came at last to the hub of European drug trafficking - Kosovo - when the last Serb was expelled or slaughtered, when the last Orthodox church was destroyed or desecrated. And then the peacekeepers left the region because they were no longer needed there. But the poison was still brewing in the kettle, the filthy foam rose to the surface until it finally boiled over and contaminated the entire region. Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja followed the fate of Kosovo. [Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja are areas in southern Serbia that the Albanians have been eyeing and staging attacks in for some time, and for which a KLA extension exists, UCPMB.] The Serbs were held back, always held in check. When Belgrade became the capital of Greater Albania, theEuropean Union began to be afraid. And then it continued to grant out of fear what it had earlier given out of stupidity. So now it is only just that Parisian women dress in [hijabs] - after their grandmothers swooned over roses on the graves of Kosovo Albanians on TV. Slobodan Vukovic was fifty years old but he remembered the events of his childhood with unbelievable precision. There were other enemies, too, besides those who were sure that the day would come when there would be no more ethnic conflicts in Kosovo - after the last Serb left feet first. He didn’t know, couldn’t remember, where and when his child’s eyes had seen the scene he remembered in the minutest detail: the nuns dressed in robes red with their own blood, their throats all slit, lying on the white ground among bits of shattered icons and the smashed doors of a church. Was the exact time and place really so important? There were so many such martyrs and such churches! Go, read it all. I wrote at length of my encounter of the grotesque kind with whore monger Bill Beckel on Eric Bolling's show on FOX Business, Money Rocks for today's Big Journalism. Beckel's firing at FOX is long overdue. When he called Hannah Giles a "ho" a few months back, he should have been fired then, right there on the spot. Beckel's denigration and abuse is made possible by the sanction FOX gives him. FOX must withdraw their sanction. He is sick and clearly out of control. Here's an excerpt from Bob Beckel, the Politics of Personal Destruction, and Me Pamela Geller, Big Journalism But Beckel’s response when asked about this was to attack me. So I said this: I would like to address Mr. Beckel’s point. I don’t know why you’re carrying water for the most radical, intolerant ideology in the world today. There have been 20,000 documented radical Islamic attacks since 9/11. Each one with the imprimatur of a Muslim cleric. To that, Beckel showed his misogynistic side, turning to me, waving his finger in my face and saying: You better be very careful. You’re a woman, you better be very careful about who you say I carry water for, because you have no idea what you’re talking about. And don’t start putting me in the middle of your crap! “You’re a woman”? Remember, this was the same Beckel who called Hannah Giles a “ho” last winter, and who was the focus of an extortion plot by a prostitute who tried to get $50,000 out of him to keep him quiet about their liaisons. It looks as if I was right when I called him a “woman-hater.” It got ugly between Beckel and me not only during the show, but also after the show. When we cut to a break after the first segment, Beckel chided Bolling for not bringing “Jewish slumlords” on the show (referring to Bolling’s segment on Ground Zero Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf’s status as a New Jersey slumlord, so named in a lawsuit against Rauf by Union City). When I heard Beckel’s Jew-hating belch, I said, “and you’re an anti-semite.” He told me, “kiss my ass,” to which I responded that he would never get anyone anywhere in the world to get with that. Meanwhile, on the show, Rehab repeated Media Matters lies about me and my work, trying as hard as he could to make the Ground Zero mosque story into one that was all about me, hoping that if he and Beckel succeeded in destroying me, the mosque story would go away. The leftists and the Islamic supremacists cannot counter our arguments, so they resort to personal destruction. This is what happens to anyone who stands against them and for freedom today: they will comb through what you have said and done to try to find material they can use to discredit you, no matter how much they have to misrepresent it and lie about your real intentions to do so. They will shout you down and call you names, all the while accusing you of doing what they are actually doing. They will stop at nothing to destroy you, so that not only will no one take you seriously or listen to you, but also anyone whom they can associate with you, however tenuously, is also tainted. The Islamic supremacists get more bold and naked in their motive. They have released the architectural renderings of the tumbling Star of Davids here. But back in May, it was reported that the morphing mosque had a different architectural plan. The plan calls for a 15-story building, including two levels below ground. There is no architect. Instead, the builders plan to hold a "world-class design competition." What happened to the worldwide competition and how did we get the crashing Stars of David? The Cordoba Park51 announced a new series of renderings of the Cordoba Park51 Community Center, "as prepared by our Architectural Design consultants SOMA Architects." I guess Abboud trumped the world. Let's hope Mr. Abboud's architectural skill surpasses his spelling ability. Wait, it get s better, I mean worse. Just as it is an Islamic pattern to build triumphal mosques on the cherished sites of conquered lands, it is an Islamic mandate for non-Muslims to pay the jizya, an exorbitant tax on non-Muslims living in Muslim lands. Islam requires people of other faiths to pay money to support the Muslim religion. And here it is no different. Non-Muslims will pay the exorbitant jizya of $2,700 for the privilege of membership in the Cordoba house, while Muslims will pay the nominal fee of $375 per year. Mr. Gamal is counting on the center’s eventually having about 4,330 paying members, about half of them paying $2,700 a year for the most expensive family plan, which would include use of a planned fitness center and pool. Most of that core group, Mr. Gamal expects, would be non-Muslim neighborhood residents and commuters. Muslims from around the region would make up a larger but less frequently visiting group — what he calls the “dinner and a date” crowd — many of them choosing the cheapest $375 family membership for cultural programs. But that's not all. Financing to build this mega mosque will come from the sharia -- Islamic bonds, aka sukuk, and the American taxpayer (more jizya): Most of the financing, Mr. Gamal said on Wednesday, would come through religiously sanctioned bondlike investments known as sukuk, devised in Muslim nations to allow religious Muslims to take part in the global economy and increasingly explored by American banks. Sukuk and other Islamic banking instruments are tracked on the Dow Jones Islamic Market Index. In sukuk construction projects, the investors own the real estate asset, and the developers lease it back; the investors’ profit on the rent is analogous to the yield on a bond. Some Islamic scholars do not accept the system, but it is widely used in places like Malaysia and Dubai. Mr. Gamal, a broker and property manager with Soho Properties, uses conventional mortgages on other deals, but said usingsukuk would attract a broader range of Muslim investors. He expects to fund this triumphal mosque with taxpayer dollars. He restated his hope of getting the bonds issued tax-free through a public development authority, but said he would do so privately — which would require higher payments to investors — if that was not possible. Besides individual investors, Mr. Gamal said he would court corporations interested in tapping Muslim-American markets, foundations that finance international development, and Jewish, Christian and Muslim philanthropists. Diabolically audacious. Fight the this monster. Join Robert Spencer and me at Temple University October 7th here and advance the opposition. And don't forget to protest thug developer Sharif El-Gamal's appearance at the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas-linked hatefest on October 9th in Arlington, Virginia. Doing nothing is not an option. UPDATE: Soma architects shares the same address as the recently evicted thug Gamal's Soho properties. UPDATE: Something needs pointing out here. Now the Gamal cabal is saying that most of the people in the area of the center will be non-muslim? Wait a minute. We were told that the Muslim community in lower Manhattan was bursting at the seams and had to have this huge place, right? But according Anne Barnard in today's NY Times piece, most of the people living or working near the center and wanting to use the facilities are not Muslim. Morphing mosque morphs, yet again. Every week in troubled Danish neighbourhoods, four fires on average burn down kindergartens, trash containers, cars and motor scooters, reports the Danish daily, based on fire department reports in the country’s three biggest cities. According to one sociologist quoted in the paper, these acts are perpetrated by a hard core of ethnic youths who want their neighbourhoods to “take on the image of a dangerous ghetto”. Atlas has been supporting the heroic effort of James Lafferty of the Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force to halt the expansionism of the wahhabi radical academy in Fairfax, The Islamic Saudi Academy. I have been following the precedent-setting events of the ISA. The valedictorian of the ISA was convicted of plotting to assassinate the then-President Bush -- and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Here's the latest. VAST Calls for “Full Disclosure” from Fairfax Supervisors Considering Vote on Radical Saudi Academy’s Lease Connolly Took Saudi Money While Promoting/Voting on Radical School Lease A Virginia group has called on members of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to “fully disclose” donations they have received from groups and individuals with an interest in the October 19 hearing on the renewal of the lease of the radical Islamic Saudi Academy on Route 1. James Lafferty of the Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force (VAST) said in a letter to each Supervisor that he was concerned because former Board Chairman Gerry Connolly received numerous contributions to his Congressional campaign as he was shepherding the last ISA lease renewal through the board and attacking opponents. An Associated Press report on June 17, 2008 stated: “The board’s chairman Gerry Connolly, the Democratic nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 11th District offered a strong defense of the school and accused critics of slander during the meeting in which the lease was approved.” “Connolly should have recused himself from the process but instead he carried the water for the Islamist radicals and cashed a lot of their checks,” said Lafferty. “Many of the contributions were to his Congressional campaign but , at least, one of them was not reported to the Federal Elections Commission. “We are asking each Board member to check his/her records and if they have accepted contributions from any entity connected to the ISA and that includes CAIR, the Islamic Society of North America and any other Islamist groups and any individuals or officials of any of the local mosques, we are asking them to comply with the law and recuse themselves. While promoting the last ISA lease renewal in 2008, Connolly received the following support from those with a strong interest in the radical school operated by the Saudi government: Nihad Awad donated $500 on January 24, 2008. Awad is a founder of CAIR and stated in a 1994 speech in Florida “After I researched the situation inside and outside Palestine, I am in support of the Hamas movement.” Yaqub Mirza gave $1,000 on January 12, 2008. Mirza is a prominent leader in the Safa group, a radical Islamist operation in Northern Virginia. Congressman Andre Carson (D-Indiana), a Muslim, returned a Mirza donation to his campaign. Hisham al-Talib gave $1,000 on January 24, 2008. Al Talib is another Safa leader. Arab-American Leadership PAC, a group funded partially by the radical Muslim Brotherhood, donated $2,000 during the 2008 cycle. Connolly also received $18,758 from Qorvis Communications in 2006 through 2008, according to published reports. Qorvis represents the Saudi government. Its Washington and Virginia offices were raided by the FBI after the 9/11 attacks. The embassy of the Saudi government is listed as the owner/operator of the ISA. “Connolly was busy cashing checks and shilling for the Saudis but we didn’t find out about it until after the vote was taken and after he had called the citizen opposition ‘slanderers’ and ‘bigots’. “Shortly after the vote was taken, Connolly called on the State Department to investigate the ISA. He tried to have it a variety of ways. “We want to ensure that no other Board member follows his scurrilous example and gets purchased, leased or rented by the Saudis and their radical operatives.” Posted by Pamela Geller on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 04:40 PM in Creeping Sharia: American Dhimmitude, Education: Hijacking the System | Permalink | Comments (5) Reblog (0) | | Digg This | Save to del.icio.us | Tweet This! You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality. Terrorist Attacks 'Surpassed the Number and Pace of Attacks During any Year Since 9/11' Weekly Standard Chairman Lieberman, Senator Collins as you have already noted, the past year has noted the most significant developments in terrorism since 9/11. The three attempted homeland attacks during the past year from overseas based groups, and the two lone-wolf attacks here in the United States, Carlos Bledsoe in Arkansas and Nidal Hassan have surpassed the number and pace of attacks during any year since 9/11. The range of al Qaeda core, affiliated and allies plotting against the homeland during the past year suggest the threat has in fact grown far more complex and underscores the challenges of identifying and countering a more diverse array of threats to the homeland. Al Qaeda's affiliates and allies increasing ability to provide training, guidance, and support for attacks against the U.S. makes it very difficult to anticipate the precise nature of the next attack and from where it might come. The regional affiliates that have grown and allies have been able to compensate to some extent for the decreased willingness of al Qaeda in Pakistan to accept and train new recruits and additional attempts by al Qaeda affiliates and allies to attack the U.S., particularly attempts in the homeland, could attract the attention of even more western recruits, thereby increasing those groups' threat to the homeland. And even failed attacks such as AQAP's and TTP's attempts this past year due to some extent further al Qaeda's goal of fomenting terrorist attacks against the West and demonstrate that some affiliates and allies and homegrown terrorists are embracing their vision. Today, al Qaeda in Pakistan is at one of its weakest points organizationally, but I would stress a significant ‘however,’ that the group has time and time again proven its resilience and remains a very capable and determined enemy. The threat as you have noted is compounded significantly by operationally distinct plotting against the U.S. by its allies, affiliates and sympathizers. And what is the media's focus? Shilling and promoting a victory mosque at Ground Zero. George Soros is the source of the dirty money behind the front group to destroy Israel, J Street, as J Street executive director Jeremy Ben Ami has finally admitted to the media, after lying about it since the group’s founding: “I accept responsibility personally,” said Ben Ami, “for being less than clear about Mr. Soros‘ support once he did become a donor.” Of course it was Soros. George Soros vowed years ago to start an anti-Jewish organization under the nefarious guise of a Jewish organization, in order to counter the influence of the American Israel Political Action Committee (AIPAC). He knew full well that there would be lowlife Jews who would be only too happy to serve as funktionshäftling. He assisted the Nazis, so is it any wonder he wants to destroy the Jew? If at first you don’t succeed… If you are unfamiliar with Soros’s actual past, remember that, as 60 Minutes reported in 2006, “While hundreds of thousands of Hungarian Jews were being shipped off to the death camps, George Soros accompanied his phony godfather on his appointed rounds, confiscating property from the Jews.” Since then, Soros — convicted in France for insider trading — has his black hand in every evil thing: the legalization of drugsand prostitution; betting against America and making millions by making what he called “a good call against the dollar”; violating the U.N.’s neutrality by funneling money through its Development Program to Georgia’s President. He was financier of guilty terror lawyer Lynne Stewart’s defense fund; and was involved via his stooges at America Coming Together inelection fraud and via his investment in WellCare, in Medicare irregularities. And now Soros has given $750,000 to J Street. Another $811,697 came from a mysterious woman in Hong Kong named Consolacion Esdicul, who has apparently acted as a representative for Black Rock, a New York hedge fund with close ties to… George Soros.RIDICULOUS: ABC'S DIANE SAWYER 20/20 PROSELYTIZES TO ISLAM

Anjem Choudary, Islam4UKA group of opportunists planning an anti-Islam rally at Ground Zero Saturday are hijacking a day reserved for mourning and reflection. From Geert Wilders, the infamous anti-Muslim Dutch politician to Pam Geller, an influential blogger, Reza Aslan on bigots using 9/11 to spread more hate.
The international gathering of wingnuts, far-right ideologues, Euro-fascists, and anti-Muslim hate groups that will gather at ground zero Saturday should dispel any illusion that the fury over the Park51 Project, otherwise known as the "ground zero mosque," was ever a controversy solely about location.
On the ninth anniversary of the attacks of 9/11, a group calling itself Stop Islamization of America is planning an anti-Islam rally at that hallowed ground, hijacking a day that is supposed to be reserved for mourning and reflection and instead using it to spread their bigotry and hate.
Geller is the real face of the organization--the queen nut of the wingnuts, if you will. Before gaining international fame as the person who almost single-handedly turned the Park51 Project into the mosque at ground zero, Geller was a journalist for the New York Daily News and former associate publisher of The New York Observer. After 9/11, she says she dedicated her life to stopping the spread of Islam in America.
Her blog, Atlas Shrugs, is a mishmash of her inane views on a wide range of social and political issues. However, a quick read of the blog reveals that one of her favorite topics of discussion is the "Muslim in the White House." I'm not exaggerating. The nonpartisan media watchdog group Media Matters for America has counted 267 posts on her blog with that exact phrase.
It should be noted that Geller is an equal-opportunity bigot, having spread her venom to her Jewish enemies as well. She has referred to Abraham Foxman, the extremely conservative, extremely pro-Israel president of the Anti-Defamation League, as "a self-hating wretch," called the pro-Israel/pro-peace political action committee J-Street "Kapos" (the term for Jews who helped Nazis during the Holocaust), and Photoshopped a picture of Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan (who is Jewish) in a Nazi uniform on her blog.
Perhaps this pedigree is why the scheduled keynote speaker for the anti-Islam rally at ground zero, GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich, suddenly backed out of his commitment, citing a "scheduling conflict." Having repeatedly and unapologetically associated American Muslims with al Qaeda in his media discussions about the Park51 Project, and then having gone one step further by ratcheting his anti-Islam discourse to "the Hitler level," as Jim Galloway put it in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gingrich decided that it may not be the best idea for him to stand side by side with the likes of Geller and Spencer. But, if I may be allowed to conjuncture, it may be that the person Gingrich wanted most to avoid is the guest of honor at Saturday's event--the flamboyantly fascist, anti-Muslim Dutch politician and professional provocateur Geert Wilders.
Wilders has made a name for himself throughout Europe both for his extreme anti-immigration policies (ironically, Wilders' mother was born in modern day Indonesia, making him a second-generation immigrant) and his outrageous statements against Muslims. While some brand Wilders as a lunatic for his more ridiculous policies, like taxing Muslim women for the headscarf or banning the Quran from the Netherlands, his use of Islam as a scapegoat for Dutch issues--particularly the flailing economy and rising crime rate--has actually been quite successful. His political platform is a simple one: "More security, less crime, less immigration, less Islam."
Wilders' success in Dutch politics comes from his ability to exploit Dutch fears of economic uncertainty to make his case against Islam and Muslims. His method, as Ian Buruma pointed out in an op-ed for The New York Times, "is to expose the intolerance of Muslims by provoking them. If they react to his insults, he can claim that they are a threat to our native liberties. And if anyone should point out that deliberately giving offense to Muslims is neither the best way to lower social tensions nor to protect our freedoms, Wilders will denounce him as a typical cultural elitist collaborating with "Islamo-fascism."
That is exactly the playbook of anti-Muslim groups like Stop Islamization of America: Link fear of the recession to fear of Islam. Link fear of terrorism to fear of Islam. More security = Less Islam.

Christine O'Donnell at Oxford: some notes from summer 2001
This was my second summer with the Phoenix Institute. The Phoenix Institute was a group of Jedi academics; rebels and renegades against the evil empire of politically correct university life. Their summer school at Oxford ran three weeks, and was intended to give intellectual alternatives to the philosophical morass of postmodern moral relativism.
Although we were never an Oxford University course, we drew heavily on the faculties of Oxford and Cambridge for our lectures. The organizers had put together a star-studded cast of lecturers, and partly as a result we drew students from Latin America, the US, and Europe.
My role was to run the tutorials: these were modeled on the Oxford tutorial system, and were designed to give an intense analysis of the lectures, the readings, and the students' papers. The students were broken down into groups of four for a weekly one-hour tutorial with me. The basic text that summer was C.S. Lewis's The Abolition of Man (1944), his classic case for the importance of natural law in ethics. In addition, the students were assigned 25-50 pages of readings for each of the nearly daily lectures.
I required the papers to be written in disputatio format. This format demands that you furnish the three best reasons againstyour case before you are allowed to set forth your reasons for your case. So, for example, if you wanted to argue for communism, you needed to give the three best reasons in defense of capitalism before you could make your case for the merits of Marxism. If, on the contrary, you wanted to argue in favor of free markets, you needed to set forth the best three arguments you could find in favor of Marxism before you put forth your case for capitalism.
The purpose of the disputatio format was to enforce intellectual honesty, to enhance critical thinking skills in the writing of papers. The students had to think seriously about the other point of view before setting forth their own. Then and now, I self-identified philosophically as a Thomist and politically as a neoconservative. But as a teacher, I didn't do indoctrination. The point of the tutorials was to help the students learn to think.
The first tutorial was nearly always a something of a shock for the students. Allan Bloom of the University of Chicago put it brilliantly:
There is one thing a professor can be absolutely certain of: almost every student entering the university believes, or says he believes, that truth is relative. If this belief is put to the test, one can count on the students' reaction: they will be uncomprehending. That anyone should regard the proposition as not self-evident astonishes them, as though he were calling into question 2+2=4....The relativity of truth is not a theoretical insight but a moral postulate, the condition of a free society, or so they see it. They have all been equipped with this framework early on, and it is the modern replacement for the inalienable natural rights that used to be the traditional American grounds for a free society.(The Closing of the American Mind, 1985)
Exactly. Lewis's The Abolition of Man was a frontal assualt on moral relativism, and the students were not quite sure what to make of it. The opening chapter is a critique of emotivism, a theory of ethics then somewhat in vogue at Oxford under the influence of analytical philosophy. Lewis went after this with some gusto: "It is an outrage that they should be commonly spoken of as Intellectuals...Their heads are no bigger than ordinary: it is the atrophy of the chest beneath that makes them seem so."
For Lewis it was one of the central problems of relativism that it was normally only directed at other people's values: relativists usually "will be found to hold, with complete uncritical dogmatism, the whole system of values which happened to be in vogue among moderately educated young men of the professional classes during the period between the two wars." After going through some of these values in detail, Lewis wrote: " It will be seen that comfort and security, as known to a suburban street in peace-time, are the ultimate values: those things which can alone produce or spiritualize comfort are mocked. Man lives by bread alone and the ultimate source of bread is the baker's van: peace matters more than honour and can be preserved by jeering at colonels and reading newspapers."
During the summer of 2001, we worked through key aspects of natural law theory from a variety of perspectives. The final exam contained two questions: 1. agree or disagree with the view of natural law expressed in Sophocles' Antigone using a disputatioformat; 2. agree or disagree with Thomas Jefferson's quotation from 1782: "Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God?"--again using a disputatio format.
Christine O'Donnell was a joy to have in the tutorials: intelligent, engaged, dynamic, good with questions and interested in ideas. Her paper on cloning was one of the two best papers written for me that summer. She successfully completed a rigorous, intellectually demanding course that was the equivalent of a course in the humanities at any graduate school at any university. As a result, I was happy to write recommendations for her for future graduate study.
The course we did that summer in Oxford is nearly a decade old, but the basic issues we addressed are eternal. Today, too many of the Republic's leaders have abandoned the natural law tradition of the Declaration of Independence for a murky moral relativism--a relativism that is both destructive of democratic values and philosophically bankrupt. Christine O'Donnell would bring to the US Senate a deepened commitment to the philosophical convictions of the Founding Fathers at a time when the philosophical bankruptcy of too many leaders is mirrored in the economic bankruptcy of the federal government. She would surely add intellectual and philosophical depth to a Senate that at this point in its history badly needs both.
Regarding the visual design of the facade of the mosque: Yes, there are many Stars of David, and as well, there are pentagons. They are stylized, but definitely there: the "clusters" of very thick framework within the design are all groupings of pentagon shapes.
And hasn't anyone else wondered why these islamists chose this particular view for their news release? Not just looking at the building - the eye is looking UP at an angle at the perceived height - just as were the most familiar photos of the towers of the World Trade Center.
Finally - considering what this building is, and where it is to be - there is not even the smallest possibility of the visual impression being coincidental. And no such "mistakes" would just "happen" to occur. This is so obviously a deliberate islamic victory design that I would venture the further possibility that if each and every one of those tiny-to-large openings, and/or design "lines" were counted, the total would reflect the total number of those slaughtered on 9/11/01.

BOOKING DEATH THREAT
By J
Peace and Love.THE CATHEDRAL OF NOTRE DAME IS THE MOSQUE OF NOTRE DAME: KOSOVO.
The small island in the River Seine has been a sacred site for millennia. It was a sacred grove for the Celts who held their most holy rituals there, then for the Romans who built a Temple of Jupiter. Upon the ruins of this temple, Childebert (496-558), son of Clovis who founded the French Merovingian dynasty, built a basilica to St. Etienne in 528. Since that time, the site has been sacred to Christians.

Chudinova takes the ongoing transformation of Europe into Eurabia – the Moslemification of Europe – seriously. The setting of her novel is Paris of the year 2040. The Moslem immigrant children who comprised 40-50% of the population under 20 in many French cities in 2005 have grown up, have voted themselves into power, established Islam as the state religion in France, imposed strict Sharia Islamic law upon all French people, and converted the cathedral of Notre Dame into a mosque.
The only Christians who are left are forced to live in ghettos like Jews in pre-World War II Warsaw. The novel focuses upon an initially small Christian resistance movement that refuses to live according to Sharia laws and decides to fight back – violently.
Political correctness infects Russia just as much as the US, thus Chudinova’s book has been hysterically denounced by mainstream leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church. Archpriest Georgiy Mitrofanov of the prestigious St. Petersburg Theological Seminary is a typical example, who frets that the book promotes "un-Christian phobias." Mitrofanov explicitly views "anti-Islamism" as an evil on a par with anti-Semitism.
In an interview in Pravda on October 3 [2205], Chudinova struck back, stating that Islam is a "false religion" and that the future of Russia, France, and all of Europe "consists in a choice between the cross and the crescent," between Christianity and Islam.
[...]
And in this month’s issue of the Moscow journal Politcheskiy [in 2005] , Chudinova continues her attack. "I do not want to live in a Moscow Caliphate," which is coming, she says, unless Russian Christians start fighting back against Islam. "I would rather live in a Russia controlled by the Americans and garrisoned by American soldiers than in a Moscow where Russia’s own Moslems have established a caliphate."
Her novel and her unapologetic defense of it are making her a hero in the eye of millions of Russians. Her critics agonize that her book will create millions of "Islamophobes" in Russia, and once it is translated into other languages, throughout Europe. Let’s hope so.
Because it is only through such Islamophobia that Western Civilization and Christianity in Russia and Europe have any chance to survive. That’s how bad it is getting – and Chudinova’s purpose in writing is to prevent it from getting a lot, lot worse.
