Banks in Trouble – FDIC Problem Bank List Continues to Grow: This is why Ben Bernanke called last week for an new global reserve currency system. Looks like we have a beginning of global currency war. A massive flight from the dollar can be expected unless the Fed raises interest rates considerably but that would really put a nail in the American economic recovery maybe forever. Yamit
CHINA AND RUSSIA QUIT THE DOLLAR
Brother Can You Spare a Dime?
Is this the beginning of the End? Is the dollar about to finally collapse? Not today but maybe tomorrow or the day after. China and Russia have announced they will no longer use the US dollar for bilateral trade and from now on will use their own currency.
Chinese experts said the move reflected closer relations between Beijing and Moscow and is not aimed at challenging the dollar, but to protect their domestic economies.
“About trade settlement, we have decided to use our own currencies,” Putin said at a joint news...
Eichmann’s Executioner
by Rachel Ginsberg
For years, the details of arch-Nazi Eichmann’s hanging by the State of Israel was shrouded in secrecy — from his being given his last glass of wine, to the noose being placed around his neck, to his lifeless body being incinerated in a specially-designed oven and his ashes spread over the sea outside Israel’s territorial waters.
Most of those involved in Israel ‘s first and only execution in 1962 are no longer living. But Nagar was “discovered” 12 years ago, when an Israeli radio station wanted to produce a 30th anniversary program of Eichmann’s capture and hanging. After sifting through prison records and following tips from former prison employees, Nagar, “the short Yemenite guard” as he was remembered, was located and asked to reveal the memories he had stored away for so many years. At the time, Shalom Nagar, having retired from the Prisons Services, was living in Kiryat Arba and learning in kollel from dawn...
Rev Hagee: “Israel’s Fight is Our Fight”
Speech by Rev John C. Hagee at Horowitz’s Restoration Weekend:
America should not pressure Israel to give up more land. And America must never pressure Israel to divide the city of Jerusalem.
Thank you for the privilege and pleasure of speaking at this important gathering tonight.
I’d like to begin by thanking David Horowitz and the David Horowitz Freedom Center for all that they have done for the freedom of America, especially on our college campuses.
We all know how hard it is to stand up for truth on America’s college campuses these days, when pro-Israel speakers are being shouted down and pro-Israel students are being publicly ridiculed by professors, unbelievably. This is why I’m so very grateful to have friends like David Horowitz and the David Horowitz Freedom Center, providing invaluable information, training and support for those brave students who are willing to confront the lies and the religious hatred of radical Islam.
We meet tonight at a...
U.S. Supreme Court confers on Obama eligibility
By Brian Fitzpatrick, WorldNetDaily
WASHINGTON – Is this the case that will break the presidential eligibility question wide open?
The Supreme Court conferred today on whether arguments should be heard on the merits of Kerchner v. Obama, a case challenging whether President Barack Obama is qualified to serve as president because he may not be a “natural-born citizen” as required by Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution.
Unlike other eligibility cases that have reached the Supreme Court, Kerchner vs. Obama focuses on the “Vattel theory,” which argues that the writers of the Constitution believed the term “natural-born citizen” to mean a person born in the United States to parents who were both American citizens.
“This case is unprecedented,” said Mario Apuzzo, the attorney bringing the suit. “I believe we presented an ironclad case. We’ve shown...
Mideast expert: US letter on freeze deal has been completed
By HILARY LEILA KRIEGER AND HERB KEINON
Netanyahu made verbal commitment to Clinton to make progress on territory during renewed settlement freeze as part of agreement.
The parties have finalized the text for the US letter to Israel concerning the terms of a renewed settlement freeze, according to Middle East expert David Makovsky.
Makovsky highlighted, however, complicating factors in the effort to get from a deal on paper to actually having it approved by the Israeli cabinet and signed by the United States.
Makovsky, who spoke at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy on Tuesday, recently returned to the US after extensive conversations with Israeli and Arab leaders.
The crux of the deal centers on the US providing Israel with advanced fighter jets in return for a three-month West Bank settlement freeze that both the US administration and the government in Jerusalem hope will get Palestinians back to the...
Obama’s duplicity
I might add that Obama’s policy is to reduce conflict even if that means he gives into the bad guys. But one more thing is at play here. By allowing Hezbollah to rule Lebanon, Iran to get the bomb and Hamas to rule Gaza, ( you know, end the blockade) he is building pressure on Israel to capitulate. Ultimately he hopes it will lead to Israel’s destruction and ultimately, to the end of the conflict. T. Belman
Obama’s Statement of Support for Lebanon Shows His Lack of Support for Lebanon
By Barry Rubin, GLORIA
Even when you say the right thing it can only highlight the fact that you haven’t been doing it. Take President Barack Obama’s statement on Lebanon. The wording is all correct, yet it only makes the fact that this has nothing to do with actual U.S. policy stand out even more vividly.
Thus, when Obama said that he is committed to keeping Lebanon free of “terrorism,” the fact is that—in part due to weak U.S. policy—the country is largely under the...
Freedom of speech on trial in Austria

Gates of Vienna has the story.
The trial of Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff for “denigrating religious teachings” begins today in Vienna. For those who are unfamiliar with the case, see the list of previous articles at the bottom of this post. This post will stay on top for a while, and updated as required. Its historic. Don’t miss it.
U. of Toronto Accepts and Posts Anti-Semitic Thesis
P. David Hornik, Pajamas Media
The University of Toronto has accepted and posted a master’s thesis called “The Victimhood of the Powerful: White Jews, Zionism, and the Racism of Hegemonic Holocaust Education.” As the title might insinuate, it is actually an anti-Semitic screed displaying the lowest academic standards.
The author, a young Canadian Jewish woman named Jennifer Peto, gives the psychological background of her views in the introduction:
I had been attending Orthodox Jewish schools since kindergarten and all along I had been questioning the worldview that was being presented to me. In the first grade, after having been told that I could not play the lead in our school play because I was a girl, I decided that god was either sexist or nonexistent.
It’s worth pausing over this. The “logic” is clearly that of a six-year-old girl; yet Ms. Peto considers it worth presenting in her thesis!
She continues:
Over the years, both my atheism and my feminism...
U.S.: the referendum bill is “an internal Israeli issue.”
By Ted Belman
This is a strange turn around for the U.S.
Asked if the Obama administration is “concerned” by the new law, the U.S. State Department replied, “This is an internal Israeli issue, and the Israeli government is in the best position to address inquiries related to its process.”
I would have thought that house construction and demolitions were likewise an “internal Israeli issue”.
