DEFECTOR'S COMMENTS CONTRADICT OBAMA'S APPEASEMENT POLICY
China Confidential has repeatedly made the point that elements in Iran's regular armed forces could turn against the Atomic Ayatollah, his Islamonazi maniac-in-chief, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and the SS-like Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
Contrary to what Islamist-appeasing liberals would have you believe, a military coup--by the right kinds of officers--would be a good thing for Iran (and Islamizing Turkey). Important to remember that a military coup could have saved Iran from more than three decades of clerical fascism and the country's incredibly costly war with Saddam's Iraq. But the catastrophic Carter administration, which was complicit in the Islamist overthrow of Iran's pro-American, modernizing monarch, Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, prevented the army from moving.

China Confidential analysts believe Pyongyang plans to detonate a nuclear device on or around next Thursday, November 25, in order to overshadow the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in the United States. The first two North Korean nuclear tests, in 2006 and 2009--which China Confidential, alone among media outlets, accuratelypredicted--were timed to spoil the U.S. Columbus Day and Memorial Day holidays.
The North may also be aware--through its Iranian intelligence ties--of an Al Qaeda plot to attack Germany before the end of this month. Contrary to U.S. liberal media mis/disinformation, Iran and Al Qaeda are connected--the Shiite and Sunni fanatics have bridged their theological differences to kill Westerners--and the military and intelligence services of Iran and North Korea are cooperating more closely than ever, with increasing assistance from Venezuela.

Germany issued a new terrorism alert Wednesday, over what the Interior Ministry described as "concrete indications" that terror attacks are planned against the country for the end of November.
Thomas de Maiziere, speaking to reporters in Berlin, said the current risk assessment will produce an increased police presence, particularly at airports, until further notice.
De Maiziere spoke of "a new security situation" in Germany, citing a tip from an unspecified country. He did not say where the attack was supposed to occur.
Much of western Europe, including Germany, has been on heightened alert since early last month, when package bombs were found on two U.S.-bound airplanes.
Those discoveries triggered warnings from the United States, Britain and Japan, of possible al-Qaida attacks on major British, French and German cities.
