Nigel Farage (pictured) EU President Herman van Rompuy: “You should be the pin-up boy of the eurosce Sunday November 28,2010 UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage has become a Europe-wide internet sensation again with his latest attack on Brussels bureaucrats. His speech to the European Parliament last week has been viewed 200,000 times on YouTube and has been translated into German. Addressing EU President Herman van Rompuy Mr Farage said: “You’ve been in office for one year and in that time the whole edifice is beginning to crumble, there’s chaos and the money’s running out. I should thank you. You should be the pin-up boy of the eurosceptic movement. “Your fanaticism is out in the open. You talked about the fact that it was a lie to say the nation state could exist in the 21st century globalised world. FOLLOW THE EXPRESS ON TWITTER! “Well, that may well be true in the case of Belgium, which hasn’t had a government for six months, but for the rest of us, people are saying we don’t want that flag, we don’t want the anthem, we don’t want this political class – we want the whole thing consigned to the dustbin of history.” The Ukip leader then turned on Economic Commissioner Olli Rehn for suggesting that Ireland delay any general election until its budget had approved. “Who the hell do you think you people are?” he said. “You are very, very dangerous people. Your obsession with creating this Euro state means you are happy to destroy democracy.” Mr Farage’s previous outburst last February attracted almost 600,000 views on YouTube and resulted in an official reprimand.WORLD NEWS

NIGEL FARAGE AND HIS EXPENSES.
28.11.10, 11:05pm
League13 wrote about Mr Farage and his expenses without, aparently, bothering to check the facts.
As with most UKIP members I know Nigel Farage quite well and can tell anyone who wants to know that, unlike many MEPs, he draws no more than he is entitled to in expenses and spends them on things like travel, paper, running the office etc. It's why MEPs get expenses in the first place.
He drives an old car and, in common with most UKIP leaders, travels Standard (or Second) class by train (that I know for a fact - my job is working on the railway and have met them often) - Mr Farage does NOT abuse the system and, what's more, UKIP is littered with former MEPs who tried to in various ways! Tom Wise, Robert Kilroy Silk and Nikki Sinclair are just three former MEP members who failed to toe the line and got "chopped" as a result.
It's time people who said UKIPs leadership do abuse the system, be it via expenses or otherwise, produced some evidence - in other words "where's your proof?" or, more bluntly, "Put up, or shut up!"

DON'T MISTAKE THE GERMANS WITH BEING EUROPHILES
28.11.10, 8:20pm
The German people, and teh french People, and most of the rest of 'The People' don't want the EU any more than the rest of right-minded people.
We were all sold the EEC as a Trade Organisation - and we were ALL lied to.
It's ironic that this country went to war in 1914 to defend 'Brave Little Belgium' - that miserable little country that turned to bite the hand that saved it.
If We the People of Europe could have a vote, a referendum, the EU would be dead the next morning.

NICE ONE MR FARAGE.
28.11.10, 4:30pm
This guy is not affraid to speak his mind as its the thoughts of most sane British people, its not only Nigel Farage that gives it to them with "both barrels", Godfrey Bloom another UKIP mp got slung out the other day for upsetting the dictators in Brussels,
@Shenandoah, Im affraid writing to complain about Mr Farages reprimand will fall on deaf ears as it was the EU maffia themselves who issued it along with a 3000 euro fine,(some democracy eh?)
To me that shows dedication on his part as despite of trying to hush him by hitting his wallet he has come back harder & faster, now how many M,P`s have ever done that?, so well done to Nigel & Godfrey & more power to UKIPS elbow.
