Another Blood Libel Uncovered

Laura: Here we go with yet another blood libel against Israel being unravelled. This is the incident regarding the woman who supposedly was killed by teargas fired by the IDF. And as always, the western media reported the accusation unquestionably. How many times must the “palestinians” make false claims against Israel before the western media finally becomes skeptical? It can’t be that the media is so gullible as to be fooled repeatedly. So the answer lies in the fact that the liberal western media isn’t interested in facts when it comes to reportage of Israel. It is not interested in objectively reporting news when it comes to Israel. It’s agenda is to demonize Israel and therefore these must be considered propaganda outlets and not legitimate news outlets.

J Street AND Ground Zero Mosque Corrupt? Imagine That!

By Barry Rubin

Hey, boys and girls! Notice how we keep finding out more and more about the corruption of the Ground Zero mosque project and its chief sponsors? Well, now we discover that the whole thing received a lot of secret help from NY City’s mayor and government to ensure it was approved even though–on purely legal and financial grounds–that was a questionable decision.

The mayor’s office says that the project received only normal help. Wow, I’ll bet a lot of New York developers would be amazed at that statement. But let’s never forget that this project, budgeted at far over $100 million, has no serious money raised!

I have a totally different view on this issue that is drenched with irony. The first irony is that the mayor’s office and other city agencies pushed for a project that would never otherwise have been approved (given zoning issues, the bad record of the promoters, the fact that they didn’t even own the...

Netanyahu slams Palestinians’ new ‘three no’s’

By HERB KEINON AND REBECCA ANNA STOIL, JPOST

Israel has an “arsenal of possible responses” it can deploy in response to a unilateral Palestinian declaration of statehood, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday.

Netanyahu, who did not spell out what steps Israel would take, said he preferred “not going” down that unilateral path “because it is a negative direction.”

The prime minister said he had spoken recently with Chilean President Sebastián Piñera in an effort to prevent Santiago from recognizing a Palestinian state – something a number of Latin American countries, such as Brazil, Argentina and Ecuador, have done in recent weeks. Uruguay announced that it would recognize Palestinian statehood in 2011.

According to the prime minister, such recognition distances negotiations and makes peace more unlikely, because it strengthens the Palestinians’ sense that they can get what they want without...

Israel Needs to Adjust to a Post-American Age

By Leon Hadar, Haaretz

“We cannot exist alone.” That is Israel’s national security axiom acknowledged by President Shimon Peres during an address in Jerusalem in November. “For our existence we need the friendship of the United States of America,” stressed the Israeli statesman, highlighting the geostrategic reality. “It doesn’t sound easy, but this is the truth,” he added. It’s not easy for a client-state to admit that its own survival depends on a global patron.

It’s even more challenging for leaders of a dependent state to recognize that the great power they are relying on may be entering into an imperial twilight time — that it’s not so great anymore. Inertia, wishful thinking and the power of vested interests explains why elites in the empire’s capital — as well as in the provinces — continue to share in the misconception about the hegemon’s ability to exert global influence even as...

Taliban Executes British Woman for Being a Christian

What do you think these Christ killers would do to JESUS?
by Bill Levinson

Taliban execute British aid worker Gayle Williams in Afghanistan reports,

A British aid worker was shot dead in Afghanistan by two Taliban hitmen yesterday because she was a Christian.

What part of “shot dead because she was a Christian” does the civilized world not understand? We reiterate phrases like “Christ killers” and “Christ killing jihadists” because militant “Muslims” routinely blood libel Jews by accusing Jews collectively of killing the founder of the Christian religion and, as depicted in one hate cartoon, conspiring to kill Jesus yet again. The truth is that, were Jesus to find himself in the 21st century, Israel is probably the ONLY country in the Middle East in which he would NOT be shot, hanged, stoned to death, or even crucified because, as shown by the murder of Gayle Williams, the Twenty-First Century’s Christ Killers all justify...

Christ-Killing “Islamic” Savages Butcher Medical Aid Volunteers

International Assistance Mission medical aid volunteers, including six Americans, massacred under color of Islam
by Bill Levinson

Taliban’s Killing of Christian Aid Workers Could Chill U.S. Missionary Impulse describes how ten unarmed men and women, including six Americans, were savagely butchered under color of Islam for being Christians. What do you think the responsible militant Islamic Christ-killers would do to JESUS?

Dirk Frans, executive director of the International Assistance Mission, said the medical team was returning to the Afghan capital of Kabul from an eye clinic in the northern Nuristan province. They carried no weapons or Bibles, he said.

It comes as no surprise that violent savages who excel in cutting off limbs, stoning women to death, and blinding people would slaughter ten unarmed foreign aid workers who volunteered their time to work at an eye clinic. A jihadist can gouge out an eye or chop off a limb in a mere second, but these primitive...
