Please consider making the following points:
• There has been well publicised criticism of the BBC’s portrayal of Christians over the last few years. Please ask the BBC to portray Christians in a fair light and not to marginalise Christianity any longer.
• Please remind the BBC that there has been very little broadcasting of programmes critical of Islam (or other religions) while there have been many programmes critical of Christianity; The BBC has given airtime to religions other than Christianity to a greater extent than is warranted given the numbers of adherents of the respective faiths in the UK; and BBC programmes about Christianity are often presented by people who do not seem to have a full understanding of Christianity.

• At the last census 72% of the population identified themselves as Christians. Please ask the BBC to ensure that they give appropriate coverage to Christianity.
