Christian counsellor seeks police investigation after witness intimidation

Lesley Pilkington's hearing before the Professional Conduct Panel has been adjourned. She had been calling for an adjournment on the case following intimidation of her key witness by homosexual activists.

Lesley is defending herself against a complaint by Patrick Strudwick, a homosexual journalist who went undercover to pretend to be a Christian homosexual in need of therapy and then secretly record two therapy sessions with her. Mr. Strudwick published an account of the sessions in The Independent and now campaigns against Christians who give therapy to other Christians who have asked for help with their sexual behaviour.

Christian guesthouse owners ordered to pay compensation

A judge has ruled that the Christian owners of a guesthouse have acted unlawfully for restricting their bookings policy for double rooms to married couples only. He has ordered Christians Peter and Hazelmary Bull, who are being represented by the Christian Institute, to pay £3,600 in damages to a homosexual couple after they denied them a room.

The judge has given the Bulls leave to appeal his decision, as he explained that his ruling affects “the human rights of the defendants to manifest their religion and forces them to act in a manner contrary to their deeply and genuinely held beliefs.”
