Has Militant Islam Suborned European Judges, Prosecutors, and Legislators?

Selective suppression of free speech that condemns militant “Islam” allows few other explanations
by Bill Levinson

    Let me tell you, Cassius, you yourself
    Are much condemn’d to have an itching palm
    To sell and mart your offices for gold
    To undeservers
    .
    –Julius Caesar

Free Speech Has Died in Europe reports that Denmark recently prosecuted two men for criticism of certain aspects of militant “Islam” including so-called honor killings of women. We cite this as one of many examples of selective suppression of free speech as opposed to evidence of misconduct or other misdeeds of which we will accuse no specific individual without proof. It is however reasonable to believe that a small handful of European prosecutors who bring such cases, judges who admit these cases into court, and legislators who create the laws that allow these 21st century witch trials, have sold their offices to militant “Islam” for Arab oil...

Sudan at the crossroads

By CAROLINE B. GLICK, The Jerusalem Post

On Sunday, the southern Sudanese began voting on a referendum to secede from the Republic of Sudan and establish their own sovereign nation. By all accounts, they will soon secede from the Arab, Islamic country and form an independent African, Christian and animist state.

The consequences of their actions will reverberate around the world.

This week’s referendum takes place in accordance with the US-brokered Comprehensive Peace Treaty between the Khartoum government and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement signed on January 9, 2005.

The CPT officially ended the second Sudanese Civil War that began in 1983.

The South Sudanese referendum will not settle the issue of control over all of southern Sudan. Numerous flashpoints remain. Most importantly, the disposition of the town of Abyei remains undetermined. Abyei is where most of Sudan’s oil deposits are located.

Unlike the rest of the south, its population is a mix of...

The facts about eastern Jerusalem, Sheikh Jarrah and Shimon HaTzaddik

By Arlene Kushner

The entire subject — not just of the Shepherd Hotel — but of all of eastern Jerusalem is of great importance because of the issue being made, both by Palestinian Arabs and by their left-wing sympathizers, with regard to Jews living there.

There is, of course, the attempt to represent eastern Jerusalem as the future capital of a Palestinian state. (Although, actually, if you watch the words of the Palestinian Arabs carefully, you will notice that frequently they refer to their right to “Jerusalem.” Make no mistake about it, in the end they want it all.)

And there is apparently even more going on beyond this: an attempt by the PA to gain control of a swath of land that runs from Ramallah, through eastern Jerusalem, to Beit Lehem (Bethlehem) and even beyond to Hevron. Jewish residence in eastern Jerusalem generates a stumbling block to this goal.

~~~~~~~~~~
Let us begin, then, at the beginning, with a definition of eastern Jerusalem....
Inside the Stuxnet story
Israel Tested Stuxnet Worm with US Cooperation, Says NY Times
by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu, INN
Israel, with cooperation from the United States, reconstructed Iran’s centrifuges in Dimona, where it tested the Stuxnet worm that has set back Iran’s nuclear program at least five years, The New York Times reported Sunday. The wildly successful virus attack has virtually achieved the same time delay as those envisioned by various scenarios of military attacks.
The clandestine operation at the nuclear center in southern Israel began at least two years ago and has severely affected Iran’s uranium enrichment program far more than previously reported, the article stated, based on various sources from Israel, the United States and Britain.
One American intelligence expert told the Times, “To check out the worm, you have to know the machines. The reason the worm has been effective is that the Israelis tried it out.” Then-President George W. Bush gave the go-ahead for US-Israel...
Why Palestinians want to be Israeli citizens
By Jackson Diehl, Washington Post: (no less)
One of the givens of the Middle East peace process is that Palestinians are eager to be free of rule by Israel and to live in a state of their own. That’s why a new poll of the Arabs of East Jerusalem is striking: It shows that more of those people actually would prefer to be citizens of Israel than of a Palestinian state.
The poll, conducted in November, may be something of an embarrassment to Palestinian political leaders, who lately have been insisting that Israel should stop expanding settlements in the eastern half of Jerusalem — in effect giving up any claim to it — as a precondition for the resumption of peace negotiations. This week the demolition of a hotel in an Arab neighborhood in preparation for the construction of Jewish housing prompted fresh criticism of Israel from Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, while a leaked memo from European Union diplomats stationed in the city proposed that EU governments...
Israel Aids Kenya
Laura: Israel continues to be a light unto the nations, sharing its knowledge and knowhow with the rest of the world, especially the third world. Yet this is the nation that the international left, in all its perversity, regards as evil and wishes to be obliterated. To accomplish their goal they align with the truly evil forces of the global jihad. The world has descended into madness when the good is excoriated and evil is celebrated.
Israeli upgrades Kenya’s medical abilities
Ryan Jones, Israel Today Magazine
Israel provided a major boost to the Kenyan medical system in November when a team of Israeli aid workers built the first full emergency room in the country’s third largest city, Kisumu.
The six million people that live in Kisumu and the surrounding region had until now had no facility to provide emergency medical care. A team of 10 Israeli engineers built the state-of-the-art facility in record time, and equipped it with the best medical equipment, all free of...
