Wide-ranging effects of UK waste policies due to abject failure to properly monitor and seriously regulate PM2.5 (and PM1) particulates have included increased needless deaths, illnesses, and effects on various body systems. Mapping out of health data in the UK from NHS, ONS, PCTs etc as ordered by WHO and USEPA, prove that UK incinerators are associated with zones of high morbidity & mortality downwind for some 15 miles as expected, while deprivation, traffic, passive smoking, ethnicity etc are just lies to try and blame the victim. Diseases from UK incinerators include low birth-weight babies, infant mortality, lower IQ, asthma, COPD, heart disease, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, strokes, depression, obesity, type-2 diabetes, cancers, auto-immune disease, ME, CFS, behaviour disorders, suicides & crime. I have 360 journal references with supporting evidence. The lower IQ is serious. While living in an area with raised PM2.5s, the immune system T-lymphocytes go to the lungs to handle the particulates leaving the body unable to properly deal with vaccines and infections especially hospital infections and retroviruses. This leads to needless deaths & illness from the infections and autism, GBS, ADHD and MS from the vaccines given far too young in the UK. Deaths following Men-C and MMR vaccines have been hidden by ordering coroners not to put “vaccine” on death certificates (at least for MMR deaths). Men-C had 3 days of testing then produced 12 deaths & 16000 yellow card reports within a short span of time. Had Men-C vaccine been a medicine it would surely have been banned. Children get no protection from flu vaccines at all and only 1% of adults get protection from flu vaccine (proven by recent Cochrane report). So why does the government push for flu jabs on the media? The refusal to protect UK public health can be called dire. It deserves public outcry and prosecutions. One Click Note: This evidence is appalling. And just where are the UK mainstream media over this? Feeding the pharmaceutical and waste industries coffers. Yet another MUST READ of the month from One Click.

2. Swine Flu Redux
It is undoubtedly the case that we are seeing more influenza at the moment. There are some genuine cases of influenza, mixed in with the high number of upper respiratory tract infections and heavy colds. Many people are being quite sensible and treating themselves. Some are behaving like headless chickens demanding to "have the doctor out" and "insisting on antibiotics". This is the grist to the Jobbing Doctor's mill. "Is it swine flu?" I am asked. I respond to this with the observation that it is influenza of some kind, possibly Influenza B, or H1N1 influenza, or H1N2 influenza. It doesn't matter as there is little that we need to do with 99% of the cases, except make a clinical evaluation. I am extremely dubious about the value of Tamiflu and other similar agents, and have not prescribed it as yet. People do not believe the official pronouncements, and feel that hyperbole has overtaken common sense. But the usual medi a-driven panic makes much more work for Jobbing Doctors to no real benefit.

3. Astellas Pharma Sues Prescrire, A Medical Journal
Le Figaro reports that Astellas Pharma, the Japanese multinational pharmaceutical company has filed a lawsuit in Paris against the independent French medical journal, Prescrire for publishing unfavorable reports about their anti-eczema ointment, Tacrolimus (Protopic). Prescrire's independent analysis of the data shows "a clearly unfavorable benefit-risk ratio" for use of the ointment "for prevention" of eczema, which Astellas called, a "denigration" of its product. Read much more about this controversial immunosuppressant ointment which carries FDA-mandated boxed warnings...

4. Scientists Urge FDA To Stop Amalgam Use
At the end of the two-day hearing to evaluate the safety of amalgam, FDA’s own scientific panel – including neurologists, toxicologists, epidemiologists, and environmental health specialists – told the agency to stop amalgam use in children, pregnant women, and hypersensitive populations. After reviewing the available scientific studies and the presentations of researchers, experts, dentists, and injured consumers, the scientists concluded that – contrary to the claims of FDA’s in-house dentist Susan Runner – amalgam is not safe for everybody. According to the panel, FDA’s amalgam risk assessments were not adequate to protect hypersensitive adults, children, and unborn babies. Repeatedly, panel members expressed their concern about amalgam use in children. Pediatric neurologist Dr. Suresh Kotagal of the Mayo Clinic summed it up for the entire panel: “There is really no place for mercury in children.” Other panelists went on to explain that dental mercury is like lead. The panel urged FDA to quickly contraindicate amalgam for these vulnerable populations and insisted that FDA provide consumers with labeling containing clear warnings. But already FDA is ignoring the scientists.

5. Why Bradley Manning Is Fighting For His Sanity
Coercion and humiliation seep through American culture. For the past seven months, 22-year-old US Army Private Bradley Manning, first in an army prison in Kuwait, now in the brig in Quantico, Virginia, has been held 23 hours out of 24 in solitary confinement in his cell, under constant harassment. If his eyes close between 5am and 8pm he is jolted awake. In daylight hours he has to respond "yes" to guards every five minutes. For an hour a day he is taken to another cell where he walks figures of eight. If he stops he is taken back to his other cell. Manning is accused of giving documents to Julian Assange at WikiLeaks. He has not been tried or convicted. Visitors report that Manning is going downhill mentally as well as physically. His lawyer's efforts to improve his condition have been rebuffed by the Army. Accusations that his treatment amounts to torture have been indignantly denounced by prominent conservatives calling for him to be summaril y executed. After the columnist Glenn Greenwald publicised Manning's treatment in mid-December, there was a moderate commotion. The UN's top monitor of torture is investigating his case. Just over the edge of 2011, torture is now solidly installed in America's repressive arsenal. Not in the shadows where it used to lurk, but up front and central, vigorously applauded by prominent politicians. Memo to David Cameron. Resist all extradition requests by the US government, on the grounds that those accused of terrorism cannot possibly expect anything but torture and a kangaroo trial.
