Left blames Tea Party and Sarah Palin for shooting of Gabrielle Giffords; Brady Campaign equally guilty in three senseless shootings The Left has been quick to blame the alleged actions of Jared Lee Loughner on “extreme rhetoric” by the Tea Party and/or Sarah Palin, and also to revive calls for gun control (even though Loughner, having no prior felony record and having not been adjudicated mentally incompetent by a court, could still have purchased a gun legally). It is telling that the Brady Campaign and its affiliate the Million Mom March were equally if not more involved in three incidents of senseless violence that involved firearms. (1) Million Mom Marcher Barbara Graham (aka Lipscomb) was convicted of taking the law into her own hands by “trying to avenge her son’s death by shooting a young man she blamed for the killing.” This member of the Million Mom March and affiliate of the Brady Campaign left an innocent man paralyzed from... Iran arrested two dozen Christians for the crime of being well… Christians. Which of these awful things did Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the EU’s Red Baroness Ashton forcefully condemn? The answer is none of them. Instead they forcefully and vigorously condemned the demolition of a hotel built by a Muslim Nazi collaborator and now owned by an American-Jewish businessman who bought it in order to build an apartment complex on the spot. An apartment complex for a mere 20 families that is somehow worse than all the aforementioned murders and atrocities. So much worse that they demanded the personal intervention of the highest diplomatic officials of the United States and the European Union. Belman By Melanie Phillips, The Spectator I am rubbing my eyes in disbelief at the attempt to blame the Tea-Partiers and ‘the right’ for the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and the murder of six others in Arizona by a mentally disturbed individual, Jared Lee Loughner. Even more outrageously, America’s Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has effectively equated this mentally deranged loner with the Islamists who committed the 9/11 atrocities: In a television broadcast filmed before students in Abu Dhabi, Mrs Clinton was asked why the 9/11 terror attacks, the work of a handful of men, had been allowed to colour American views of a whole people. ‘We have extremists in our country,’ she said. ‘A wonderful and incredibly brave young woman congress member was just shot by extremists in our country. We have the same kinds of problems, so rather than standing off of each other we should work to try and prevent the extremists... A report issued by Im Tirtzu supports the government’s decision to set up an inquiry commission into the activity and funding of left-wing organizations in Israel. The report, published for the first time by Ynet Monday night, claims that Arab and European countries support Palestinian funds which donate to leftist movements in Israel “in order to influence public and legal discourse in Israeli and international media.” According to Im Tirtzu, a centrist extra-parliamentary movement that “strives to strengthen the values of Zionism in Israel,” the findings prove the need for the establishment of an inquiry commission. The report focuses on two Palestinian organizations – the Welfare Association and the NGO Development Center –which it claims work together to fund pro-Palestinian activities in Israel and the territories. The report states that the organizations’ yearly budget, which is estimated at tens of millions...
