Breaking news ISRAEL LIVES FEB 18, 2011 14th ADAR 1, 5771 Failure of Leadership,
SHEIK ALAWI ANNOUNCED TO THE ASSEMBLED IN THE SQUARE IN CAIRO - WE HAVE OPENED THE BORDER BETWEEN EGYPT AND GAZA (FoxNewsReport)
>TODAY, OUR UN AMBASSADOR SUSAN RICE IS GOING TO JOIN IN A RESOLUTION IN THE SECURITY COUNCIL CONDEMNING ISRAEL FOR SETTLEMENT BUILDING. PLEASE CALL THE WHITE HOUSE COMMENT LINE (1-202-456-1111). and express your outrage that the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations is participating in such irresponsible, one sided anti-Israel behavior. Please also communicate your feelings to your elected representatives and senators HERE. 1)The Palestinians have been refusing to meet directly with the Israelis for face-to-face negotiations since September of 2010, but are instead using international platforms such as the United Nations to delegitimatize Israel, rather than working out their disputes directly around the negotiating table.2) The territory in question is not Palestinian territory. It is disputed territory that had been a result of two wars of aggression against Israel, which Israel had conquered in defensive battles. 3) Nasrallah, Hezbollah leader, urged his fighters to be prepared to take Galilee in any future conflict and warned that militants with the Shiite militia were ready to kill Israeli leaders "anytime, anywhere."

Breaking News AN 11,000 EMAIL PUSH BY JOHN HAGEE'S CHRISTIANS UNITED FOR ISRAEL CAUSED RON PAUL (R-TX) TO PULL THE AMENDMENT TO END ALL U.S. AID TO ISRAEL IN THE CURRENT HOUSE VOTE BUDGET RESOLUTION.
Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) and his son, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), have not been shy about their desire to end all U.S. foreign aid. Paul is seeking a full House vote on an amendment that would cut $6 billion of U.S. aid to a host of Middle East countries. Rep. Paul is trying to build support for an amendment to the fiscal 2011 funding bill that would end all foreign assistance to Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Pakistan. The funding bill currently being debated by the House, called the continuing resolution (CR), is needed to keep the government running after March 4. Israel has been Paul's particular bete noir for a long time.
House Republican leadership decided to use an "open rule" for the CR, giving every member of Congress the right to bring an amendment and have it debated. There are currently over 400 amendments pending to the bill, and yet somehow the House leadership wants to finish debate this week. Whether they can really do that remains unclear, but even if they succeed, the bill would go to the Senate and then perhaps back to the House once more with new changes from the Senate. House Budget Committee chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) has said that another short-term temporary funding measure might be necessary to keep the government running while the legislative process continues.
While there is probably enough bipartisan support for aid to Israel to defeat Paul's amendment, the debate over continued funding for other Arab countries is more complex. Some GOP heavyweights, like House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA), have suggested scuttling all foreign aid that is not designated for staunch U.S. allies such as Israel. House Foreign Affairs Committee chairwoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) has argued for restricting aid to the Egyptian government unless it excludes the Muslim Brotherhood from any representation in the new parliament.
Other leading Republicans, especially in the Senate, have voiced support for continuing U.S. assistance to Egypt and Jordan. Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) is working behind the scenes to craft an aid package to the CR that would fully fund the president's request for foreign aid to Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. Aid to Pakistan, which totals over $1.5 billion each year, has strong support from Senate Foreign Relations Committee heads John Kerry (D-MA) and Richard Lugar (R-IN).
Ron Paul speaks out against Israel
Ron Paul Denounces the Flotilla Raid, which turkey sponsored ships filled with "activists" with weapons, not aid.
Ron Paul ridicules Israel for invading Gaza, even though terrorists from there, lob missiles into Israel.
Ron Paul advocates an end to aid to Israel, which would leave Israel without the military hardware to overcome an invasion.
Ron Paul falsly reporting Israel is starving palestinains, supporting Hamas, and Hezbollah propaganda, not to mention adopting Obama's foreign policy.
Ron Paul in another bout of insanity, saying Israel invented Hamas.blaming the victims in this case, the same as rape perpetrators blame women for being "provocative".
Ron Paul FALSLY claiming Israel is not letting food into Gaza.
As far back as 2004, Ron Paul stands AGAINST Israel, wanting to end aid, which the net result would be certain invasion, and the end of the Jewish State, without the USA umbrella of protection.
OBAMA ABANDONS ISRAEL AGAIN! Washington is abuzz today with reports that the Obama Administration will support a U.N. Security Council resolution as early as tomorrow that rejects the legitimacy of Israeli communities in Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem. This resolution is being described by Obama insiders as a "compromise" to avoid an even more anti-Israel resolution favored by the Palestinians. The explanation is ludicrous!
No anti-Israel resolution can pass the U.N. Security Council without the consent of the U.S. because the U.S. has a right to use our veto to stop resolutions we oppose. U.S. presidents have used that veto repeatedly over the years in defense of our interest and Israel's. The Middle East is boiling over with revolutionary fervor in the streets, while Hezbollah and Iran are on the march and threatening us and our allies, including Israel. Confronted with these dangers, the Obama Administration is again demonstrating weakness and appeasement. Obama's softness in the face of Palestinian and Arab demands is demoralizing our friends and emboldening our enemies. The president needs to use his influence to demand that Palestinians return to the negotiating table with Israel. Instead, he is caving into demands that undermine our most steadfast ally in the Middle East.
