Enlarging on my thoughts

re the European Union bill Debates.

7.2. 2011

Debates in Parliament 1.2.2011

Ben Gummer (Ipswich) (Con): 1 Feb 2011 : Column 794 "Over the past few days, I have had nearly 100 emails and letters about forests, but since 7 May I have not had a single letter or email about withdrawal from the European Union. This debate shows the difference of opinion across the country, and the genius and magic of this place that it matches Members so closely to their constituents in their passions and needs." ben.gummer.mp@parliament.uk

Just to make sure he has an e-mail, and from one very ordinary person who is not in any Political Party or Organisation, never has been and never will be, here is one from me, most definitely about withdrawal from the European Union, an Organisation, if truth be known, we should never have agreed to become involved with it in the first place.

I ask, are we, the people of this Country, in paying our taxes, (innocently) contributing to treason by paying foreigners to make our laws which we all, even our own Governments have to obey? That in voting for MEP’s or taking part in that voting system and paying them through our taxes are we indeed contributing to treason which may, in time bring about the eventual demise of our own Country's Sovereignty, its governmental powers, our Head of State, our British Crown? That this great Country may be fined heavily from foreigners outside this Country if they too do not obey EU Laws? Will there always be a British Government? I ask again, will it be seen that the people by constantly paying their taxes that they have (innocently) contributed to, over the years, what may eventually be seen as treason? (See R v Thistlewood 1820)

What is proposed in the European Union Bill IS an alteration to the Treaty of Lisbon that will affect ALL 27 once National Sovereign States and any alteration to the Treaty requires a signature by all 27 States whether it affects them directly or not. Any alteration NOW will or may indeed affect this Country in the future if we remain in the EU especially any changes to finances (Any changes to the Countries in the Euro Zone area NOW, will affect us eventually when we have to join, for according to Lisbon, “The Currency of the Union shall be the Euro”) and moves are already being made in the dismantling to our NHS in readiness to join-not in this Parliament as repeatedly said by Mr Hague, but probably the next Parliament-no matter which Political Party gets into power. Ditto, also to any addition or reduction to MEP’s that is being debated in Parliament at present.

From what I read earlier in the debate, there will not be a referendum offered to the people, for the Conservative Government have no intention of allowing one. That came over pretty clear in the reading of those debates. That attitude of course may well lead to consequences I can see, but obviously this present Government can't. (See Lidington at 757) Is there a need for a referendum, because how can any British Member of Parliament ask the people to vote "YES" to accept and remain in the European Union that is so near to reaching its goal of "competence" over all? For foreigners to make laws that this Government accept and incorporate into British Laws is all quite contrary to our Common Law Constitution. Parts of which are Treaties between the British Crown and Her Majesty’s people alone.

I suggest you read how the USA came about keeping all the once separate States tied completely in the USA Constitution with its no secession clause. (After the American Civil War of course- and one reason perhaps that our defence has been run down so that we will never be able to fight our way out of the EU, to FREEDOM?) How can any MP that is true to their Oath of Allegiance to the British Crown ask the people to remain in a European Union that has gradually taken over most of the Governing of this Country, that governing which we pay all our own MP's to do? How long though will the people continue to do that? Will they be able to afford to after all the CUTS and loss of their jobs and some the loss of their lovely homes?

Our own Country must come before any organisation that actually wants to govern this Country completely. The National Security of our Country is THE most important job any Government has to do. Yet this Government has been found wanting. Not that I would wish this on anyone, but if all in that Parliament had been sent to fight hand to hand in that war and at times watched their friends gunned down or blown up or even in this Country had been bombed to Hell in the last war, or cowered in Anderson Shelters while the mass of bombs fell, perhaps you all would begin to understand why I write about defence of our Country. It was promised by a greater man than any other, that this Country WOULD NEVER, NEVER be put in the same position as it was then, and look what between you, you have done.

It took us 60 years to pay off the financial debt we owed to America and all the help given by their forces that died along-side of our own, and there was no need of binding crippling Treaties one after the other that this Country has been bled dry by either. Those of “yesterday” were fighting to keep their Country FREE, Free for their children and their children’s children and look what you have done with it? You have, without doubt put the European Union before your own Country and your own people. Contemptibly so, at every turn, you each have ignored the very people that put their trust in you none of you will ever be forgiven for that, or trusted again.

Treaties can and in this case, must be repudiated. In having three political Parties that want to remain in the EU, there has been nothing to choose between any, in a General election and if none of them listen to the vast majority of people NOW, this country may end in anarchy, more riots in the streets and most certainly it will never be the same again if that happens, in or out of the European Union.

Many people have tried to bring cases of treason against various Members of Government-which they firmly still believe that is what has, and still is taking place. Some of those MP’s believe in World Government, and there is no doubt that various organisation like the UN, the WTO, and other organisations think so too, yet look what a mess we are in now by being in the EU. As the EU is planning for 2050 and in one document to 2100, isn't that enough to be actually destroying our Constitution? According to R v Thistlewood 1820, "To destroy the Constitution is an act of Treason".

I have usually voted Conservative, but at the last election-along with many other people like me, I did not, and perhaps never will again.
