Obama’s Arrogance Spills Across the Pond – Gross Interference in UK Domestic Politics
Louis B. Susman. United States Ambassador, has addressed the European Union’s Supreme Soviet in the following words.
“I want to stress that the UK needs to remain in the EU. The US does not want to see Britain’s role in the EU diminished in any way. The message I want to convey today is that we want to see a stronger EU, but also a stronger British participation within the EU.
Susman, who took up his current post a year ago, added, “This is crucial if, together, we are going to meet all the global challenges facing us, including climate change and security. “But let’s be clear: all key issues must run through Europe.”
Who does this septuagenarian banker think he is? (please note Brits often use the term ‘banker’ in their time-honoured rhyming slang mode!)
Well, the leftwing Guardian newspaper in the UK told us what he is! 20/5/09
A little bit of Chicago’s ruthless and combative political machine is soon to descend on the decorous calm of the Court of St James. Despite promising to end cronyism in Washington, Barack Obama is about to appoint one of his home town friends and financial backers to the plum posting of US ambassador to London…Susman, 71, a vice-president of Citigroup until he retired in February, has long been a backer of the Democrats, nicknamed the Vacuum Cleaner by the Chicago Tribune for his ability to hoover up campaign funding. “I don’t think anyone enjoys raising money, but for some reason I seem to have a knack,” he told the paper. Susman, who lives in an expensive neighbourhood of Chicago overlooking Lake Michigan, raised at least $500,000 (£320,000) for Obama’s campaign and a further $300,000 for his inauguration.
He is so much a part of Obama’s inner circle that he was invited to an exclusive party on the Sunday before the inauguration. Other guests included Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s chief of staff, who typifies the sharp-suited, foul-mouthed approach of those brought up on Chicago politics.
There is a huge debate raging in the UK at present, and millions of Brits are demanding an end to their country’s subjugation to the EUSSR.
It is a debate that will some day be concluded, sooner rather than later, we hope, but whenever, it is a matter for the British people, not for Obama’s millionaire messenger-boy.
Obama’s no friend of the British people,
(see Daily Telegraph, 4/2/11 Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.
Defence analysts claim the agreement risks undermining Britain’s policy of refusing to confirm the exact size of its nuclear arsenal.
The fact that the Americans used British nuclear secrets as a bargaining chip also sheds new light on the so-called “special relationship”, which is shown often to be a one-sided affair by US diplomatic communications obtained by the WikiLeaks website. )
nor, as many of of our U.S readers will cheerfully testify, of the American people – and has no business sticking his arrogant nose into British domestic politics.
Sod off, Susman!
