US Laws Too Weak To Stop Codex

'The ignorance of the vast majority of Americans toward Codex Alimentarius, unfortunately including most natural health advocates, is one reason Codex is not currently a major source of popular concern. However, another more disturbing reason is that even those who are aware of the dangers of Codex are convinced that its decisions will have no impact on the laws of the United States.

In recent years, the United States has seen an increasing interest in the areas of natural healthcare and vitamin and mineral supplements. At the same time, however, the level of activism defending those treatments and industries has been steadily decreasing. This is significant because the amount of attacks against them have been increasing as well. In general, this is because Americans have been lulled into complacency by a false sense of security known as the Dietary Supplement Health Education Act (DSHEA).'

Global Panic As Green Sector Crashes And Burns

'Nothing symbolises the warming alarmist more than the wind turbine, the supposed source of limitless carbon free (if you ignore manufacture, transportation and erection) electricty.

As the whole AGW scam collapses there are little islands of Climate Religion left, Greenpeace and the WWF are trying business as usual; which these days is starting to look more like the band playing on the Titanic with every passing day. In Britain we have our own little island, its goes by the name of Attila the Huhnatic and publicly he continues to espouse the virtues of Climate Religion, while covertly with little publicity Huhne is cutting the life blood of Climate Religion in Britain, the Quango and the feed in tariff.

Huhne is lagging behind the rest of the world, who are leaving Green investment faster than rats leaving the sinking SS Warming Alarmist.'

Icelanders to Have Final Say on British, Dutch Depositor Debt

'Iceland’s President Olafur R. Grimsson will give his country’s voters the final say on repaying about $5 billion in debts owed to the U.K. and the Netherlands to cover depositor claims.

Grimsson’s announcement yesterday that he won’t sign a depositor accord struck between the three countries’ governments in December follows lawmaker approval of the bill. He told reporters he was responding to popular demand for a referendum after more than 42,000 of Iceland’s 318,000 inhabitants signed a petition asking him to block the accord. Forty-four of the Reykjavik-based parliament’s 63 lawmakers voted for the bill on Feb. 16.

“There is support for the view that the people should once again, as before, act together with the parliament as the legislator in this matter,” Grimsson said.'

Scientists: Sun's Approaching 'Grand Cooling" Assures New Ice Age

'NASA and the ESA agree, and so does the Russian space agency, Roscosmos—the sun is headed for a Grand Solar Minimum and a Grand Cooling will commence. The aptly named Grand Cooling is exactly what it implies: the sun is going to cool. That cooling will also cool off the Earth. It will last from 30 to 50 years.

What exactly does global cooling mean? Well for one, Al Gore was sure wrong! The Earth isn't going to warm, it's going to get colder. Much colder. So cold a little or full-blown Ice Age will ensue. As a matter of fact, some scientists claim we're already in the early stages of an Ice Age.'
