The fifth issue of Inspire, the English-language magazine of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), which was issued on March 29, 2011, features a Q&A section in which AQAP responds to email queries received from Muslims living in the West. One query comes from an anonymous Muslim living in the West who asks for AQAP's guidance regarding the best way to join jihad and reach the jihad frontiers. In its reply, AQAP recommends that the inquirer carry out a personal jihad mission through a lone wolf attack on a crowded area, rather than attempt to migrate to a jihad front, since this method, the organization says, has proven the most successful one among jihadists living in the West.
