Two facts:

1. The biggest threat to the water supply of
the world comes from the petrochemical
industry.

2. One way or another, oil (in the form of gasoline
and diesel fuel) is involved in everything we do
and as the price rises, our standard of living
declines.

It just happened that way, right?

There was no alternative and we're only just starting to get
a glimmer of potential alternative fuels sometime way out
in the future, right?

Baloney.

The first cars ran on a non-toxic, renewable substance
that we can create in our own communities for about $1 a gallon.

So why aren't we using it?

The surprising history.
