Safermedia have launched a campaign with Claire Perry MP to secure more effective protection from internet pornography.
The proposal is that UK Internet Service Providers (ISPs) switch the default setting for pornography to ‘off’ and implement an ‘opt-in’ system. This would mean that access to pornography would only be available to over 18s upon request.
Please download this letter and send it to your ISP and local MP as soon as possible.
The ISPs need to know that the public want these changes (according to a YouGov poll conducted in February, 83% believe that seeing internet pornography is damaging).
