Shia News Admits Hezbollah Uses Civilians to Protect Weapons

by Bill Levinson

Shia News posted an article that, while putting “Israel” in quotes, admits that Hezbollah commits war crimes by using civilians to shield its military assets.

A Northern “Israeli” Command security source warned 150 Hizbullah field commanders of retaliation in case Hizbullah launches any missiles, after “Israel” claimed Hizbullah is leading activities in 150 villages in South Lebanon.

The warning stated that if any rocket was launched from any house or area in the said 150 southern villages, the “Israeli” army will then destroy every house or building from where the rockets are launched.

The Zionist security source added that the “Israeli” army is not responsible for any harm which might affect to the citizens of the Lebanese southern villages.ol>

The latter is actually correct under international law; Hezbollah is responsible for harm that results from its positioning of rockets in a village, thus making the village a legitimate...

Haredi Candidate Deri Promises No More Oslos”

What does “no more Oslos” mean when he is ready to give away part of the land of Israel and part of Jerusalem. In essence he is saying he wants Kadima and Likud in the coalition with him. In that way he is free to side with either Kadima or Likud when deciding what to give away. He is also arguing that a broad coalition will give away less that Netanyahu has given away. I don’t like it. T. Belman

by Gil Ronen, INN

Aryeh Deri, who will likely lead a new party in the next Knesset, vowed in an interview Friday not to support a narrow leftist coalition.

In an interview with Haggai Segal of Makor Rishon, Deri said that his dream is of a broad coalition that will include Likud and Kadima, and he tried to assuage nationalists’ fears that he might give a hand to another deal like the infamous Oslo accords, which led to a five-year wave of mass murder on Israel’s streets, followed by the creation of a terror state in Gaza.

“I can faithfully promise you that...

Glen Beck: “Why the United States and the World Must Stand With Israel”

Glenn Beck Show – April 15, 2011

Glenn devotes the whole show to standing with Israel, with guests Rabbi Joseph Potasnik, Rev. John Hagee, and former Israeli Ambassador Dore Gold

Why should the U.S. be standing with Israel? Israel is the only country in the Middle East that shares American values. They are constantly provoked and attacked, yet despite having a heavy nuclear arsenal they have not yet launched a single one. If that wasn’t enough- in the Bible, God promises His wrath on those who turn against Israel. We should be standing with them- but at least so far, we have chosen to remain silent.

Peace between Israel and Egypt is kaput.

by Khaled Abu Toameh, Hudson NY

The deterioration in relations between Israel and Egypt should serve as a sad reminder to all that the new generation in the Arab world is not marching toward moderation, particularly when it comes to making peace with Israel or even recognizing its right to exist.

Those who had hoped that the pro-democracy revolution that toppled the regime of Hosni Mubarak would not affect relations between Egypt and Israel now need to realize that they were wrong..

In the post-Mubarak era, many Egyptians who helped bring down the regime are also strongly opposed to maintaining the peace treaty with Israel.

Egypt’s new rulers know exactly what their people think about the peace treaty with Israel. The Supreme Military Council, the de facto government in Egypt, does not dare go against the will of the Tahrir Square demonstrators.

If the demonstrators want Mubarak and his sons thrown into prison, the military rulers will comply. And if the...

“Broker peace”, no way, no how.

By CONRAD BLACK, NY SUN

There is something faintly nostalgic about former U.S. national security advisor Brent Scowcroft’s Financial Times op-ed, published Wednesday, calling for President Obama to “broker a new Mideast Peace.” The man, the media and the message are all, as Hillary Clinton would say, “so yesterday.” It’s a little like watching vintage films from the era when American leaders were first “brokering peace” in the Mideast, such as American Graffiti or The Graduate.

Brent Scowcroft was the U.S. national security adviser to President Ford, and he returned to the post under President George H.W. Bush. He is a distinguished foreign-policy and strategic-policy specialist, but has never been considered overly original, a reputation that will not be shaken by his new suggestion.

The Financial Times is a justly respected newspaper, but its editorial line is always the urbane,...
