1 ISRAEL WILL NOT GIVE UP JUDEA OR SAMARIA
In a powerful speech to the US Congress later today, Benjamin Netanyahu will say that Israel will never return to the 1948 borders and will keep all of Jerusalem together with Judea and Samaria (known as the 'West Bank' in some circles). In a clever move, he will also say Israel has to learn from the US - how not to negotiate with terrorists. Please pray for him and his hearers. Advance text of speech HERE.
2 NADINE DORRIES - HER BILL IS DEAD
Contrary to what we were given to believe, no amount of Government support will save Nadine Dorries's Sex Education Bill. It ran out of time the day it was debated. But why did she neither speak on this subject (or at all) in the debates on the Governments' Education Bill, nor table her Bill as an amendment to the Education Bill a week later? Please pray for wisdom for Christian MPs and those assisting them in Parliament.
3 WEMBLEY OUTREACH
This Saturday and Monday shall be giving out leaflets to football fans about how halal meat is being secretly sold at Wembley.
For the Champions League final between Manchester United and Barcelona on 28th May, we start witnessing at 5.00pm and end just before the 8pm kick-off. Leaflet text and final Spanish version are linked off the same article HERE.
We shall also be there on Bank Holiday Monday from 12.00 noon to 2.45pm for the Championship Play-Off between Reading and Swansea and from 2.00pm to 4.45pm for England v Switzerland on 4th June.
Please come and help. We had a great witness for the FA Cup Final because there were seven of us giving out leaflets and tens of thousands attending. Please don't leave it to someone else - and bring your friends!
PRAY at the very least that God will be glorified by the preaching of the Gospel in the Wembley leaflets and that souls will be drawn to Christ.
4 'MEGAMOSQUE' SECT CAN CARRY ON
NEXT PRAYER MEETING: Saturday 4th June
Ultra-Islamic sect Tablighi Jamaat have been told they can keep worshipping in defiance of planning rules at their West Ham site where they hope to build their 60,000 seat (or is that mat?) 'megamosque.'
Our next prayer meeting overlooking the site is on Saturday 4th June. Start 10.30am finish time is 12.30pm latest.
