Abstinence in Sex Education
Nadine Dorries MP appeared on 'The One Show' on Monday, talking about her proposal to introduce abstinence as part of sex education teaching in the UK.
This comes after her Ten Minute Rule Bill on abstinence passed its first vote in the House of Commons on 4th May.
Nadine Dorries is also campaigning for women to be given independent counselling prior to having an abortion. Please support this and see the Right to Know campaign website for further details. Core Issues Trust – Two Upcoming Meetings
Core Issues Trust is holding two meetings with David Pickup, an expert in Reparative Therapy, which are open to the public.
These meetings are particularly timely given the increasing pressure against Christian counsellors, such as Lesley Pilkington, who minister to those who struggle with their sexual orientation and have asked for help.
The meetings will consider the therapeutic approaches and contexts for those conflicted in sexual identity.
