It Really Is Too High A Price To Pay.

14.6.2011. XXXXXXXX AP

What really is behind Mr Cameron’s “Big Society”?

We know that all the legislation for this comes through the Localism Bill giving whoever might be the Secretary of State at the time, great powers.

Yet in tracing where the Localism Bill came from in reality, is another matter.

We can see it in the Council of Europe, we know the EU Regions was set up through the Treaty of Maastricht in 1992 as a consultative assembly which would provide regions and cities with a voice in the EU decision-making process and to quote, “act as a direct link between Brussels and the citizens”¹.

Because of my concern on what the setting up of these REGIONS might have on our Constitution I attended the "West Midlands Constitutional” Inaugural Meeting 28th July 2001 at the Aston Business College, Birmingham which was about the explanation of these EU Regions to the people interested enough to attend.

The Scottish Parliament had been held up as an example of what devolution meant and the workings of it, so it was this example that I quoted from the meeting that took place in the Scottish Parliament on 22nd May 2001², when members from the European Union's Committee of the Regions attended,

I had taken the report of that debate with me (which I held up for all to see) in which I chose the words of Mr Dammeyer when he had been speaking to the Scottish Parliament about devolution, that as far as the Scottish people are concerned, Scotland is a "Country", the Scottish people are a "Nation", but Mr Dammeyer explained that from the European point of view Scotland is like a Region of the European Union.

I made the point that the Welsh people are also a nation, and Wales is a "Country", but again, as far as the European Union is concerned Wales is a Region of the European Union.

I concluded that the English are a "Nation", and England is a Country, but England as far as the EU is concerned will have to be divided up into EU Regions-

For England is far too big to be left as one whole.

At the end of that debate, Mr Dammeyer also made clear that,We have to recognise that it is not the European Union that gives competences to the member states or to the regions; rather, the member states give competences to the European Union.

The European Union has no competences that it did not get from the member states—but that is only our opinion. In the Commission and in the Council, there are many people who think that they could do more than is written in the treaties, or who have practices that they think are in accordance with the treaties. Nothing comes from itself; we have to work for our own interests.” End of Quotes.

In looking at Mr Cameron’s proposals of “today”, I decided to look further and here from the EU, registered in the year 2000 in the ‘Statute of the Council of Europe’ on page 29, “Statutory Resolution (2000)1 relating to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe. (CLRAE)³ Adopted by the Committee of Ministers on 15 March 2000 at the 702nd meeting of the Ministers' Deputies).

Here now from the United Nations on the subject, under the section “The Precedent of the European Charter of Local Self-Government”

I do have the feeling on reading this however, that the idea of the Regions went up from the EU to the United Nations and not the other way around.

If this really was Mr Cameron's idea and the Conservative Government could really make all our Laws according to our Constitution and this Big Society idea gently nudged along with and promoting our Common Law Constitution, perhaps even I would say what a good idea, especially and only if this Country could indeed make its own laws and was free to do so without any reference to, or interference from, the European Union.

However, that is NOT the case and the EU even has the intention of fining the Regions directly, by-passing our own Government to do so if, and when, the UK/EU Regions do not obey EU Laws.

We have to remember that this is a complete extra layer of Governance that has never been in this Country before, not even needed through two World Wars, and most certainly we do not need the extra expense of them now-at least, not while a foreign Organisation has control over them.

This would be the very first time in the history of this Country that the EU has direct contact and control over “its” EU Citizens and the power to fine them.

Isn’t the complete loss of ability for our Government to govern this country ever again according to its Common Law Constitution far too high a price to pay?

The first question arises; can this Country really afford this extra layer of Governance at this time?

How much is it going to cost? Millions? Billions?

We know that money from Dormant Banks and Building Society Accounts are to be used and that the setting up of a new “Big Society Bank” is to take place. £200 million for starters?

Or more? £200 million doesn’t sound very much for a bank, especially if you look at the cost to this Country in EU Fines-that £200million would be swallowed up in one fell swoop if any new Region needed help financially for EU Fines.

But we are looking here at a new layer of Governance, one we have never had at all before and we must also remember that we have a House of Lords full to the brim, over 700 members the like we have never seen before, plus there is talk of dismissing all of those and holding elections for new elected Lords.

Ever more and more expense. WHY? Most certainly the people cannot afford any of this.

But what is the real true cost, for all this is indeed a massive Constitutional change? It is indeed a Constitutional vandalism.

The price tag may well be the destruction of the Nation and the Country of ENGLAND, perhaps FOREVER. Is that a price worth paying?

I came across this idea of an EU of the Regions in 1997 and once the EU gets such thoughts, it eventually comes into being.

Had we not been in the EU and was not an EU need, it may well have been a great idea, BUT IT IS NOT.

It may be the true need the EU wants and the vehicle for the EU to govern this Country through ITS EU Regions in the same way it wanted in 1997 or even before then.

We cannot forget that Scotland is already classed as an EU Region as is Wales and Northern Ireland, but ENGLAND is too big and has to be divided into EU Regions.

A permanent division of England with elected Mayors and full Cabinets and all the entourage that goes with them. Would we still be expected to pay for two full Houses of Parliament and a Government though our taxes?

We have in Government many that could have told us where all this proposed “NEW” Legislation came from-they didn’t.

Sadly the Regions will have to pay or contribute to the EU Fines imposed-without trial-without ‘innocent until proven guilty’ and without the ability of our once sovereign Government to say “NO” to any of them and no doubt those EU fines will come through thick and fast.

I ask what is the real cost to our country in all this Legislation?

How much is our Country worth to you?

Millions?

Billions?

Or has it nothing to do with money?

Will our ENGLAND survive?

Will the word ENGLAND be removed from the maps?

Will Arc Manche also be the EU’s next step?

Will the EU still want a UK Parliament?

Will the people still want to pay through their taxes for a United Kingdom Parliament that cannot actually govern?

The people certainly cannot contribute financially to foreigners to govern this Country because without doubt it is contrary to their Common Law Constitution.

Isn’t the cost of losing the freedom for this Country to govern itself far too high a price to pay?

You are all aware the HS2 is part of the EU’s Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) Policy,

which also includes the loss of Sovereignty over our skies through the EU’s “Single European Sky”

as is the loss of UK Sovereignty over our Ports and SEAS for the EU’s “Motorway in the Sea” and

maps would have to be changed for the latter for the loss of our 12 mile limit, for it does rather give

the feeling that the matter would be permanent. As the EU will have direct contact with its

REGIONS and therefore to all its people-why will it need a British Government that may try to

intervene any more?

Will the people continue to vote and pay for two full to the brim Houses in Parliament as well as these EU Regions?

Isn’t the loss of freedom AND the loss of our own Government to govern this Country according to its own Common Law Constitution far too high a price to pay?

Knowing that through this legislation the permanent division of ENGLAND and the United Kingdom with our Defences run-down to a point perhaps never been known before,

even down to “sharing” an Aircraft Carrier with the French and our forces having to learn French. (Baring in mind the Defence of our Country is THE most important job of any British Government)

How on earth did our Country come to THIS?

Each and every Government since 1972 has paid billions and billions of British pounds to the now European Union.

Millions have given their lives in two World Wars to keep this Country FREE to govern itself-yet present day weak Politicians have not only betrayed their memory, today’s politicians have also paid dearly in every way to ensure foreigners will govern this country forever more, without the guts to admit the treachery each person has done to the people.

For the first time in the history of this Country, through its EU Regions the EU will have direct contact, with its UK-EU Citizens.

The loss of the Governing of this once great and proud Country will be gone forever, but never forgotten will be the name of the last ones in power.

It really is too high a price to pay.

We are not only giving our Country and the Governing of it away-

we are paying billions and billions of British pounds to do so.

IT REALLY IS TOO HIGH A PRICE TO PAY, for it is the destruction of our Country, our very being, our way of life through our very own long standing Common Law Constitution.
