Message to Just Journalism supporters

Dear supporter,

On Wednesday, The Guardian printed an op-ed by Just Journalism on the British media narrative on Israel-Palestine. 'The end of the media fixation with Israel?', which attracted 441 comments online and responses in the following day's letters page, provided an excellent platform to showcase alternative arguments about Israel's media image to an important and challenging audience.

The Guardian newspaper has a circulation of over a quarter of a million copies per day and guardian.co.uk attracts nearly 3 million visits per day.

The article also helped to promote Just Journalism's latest major report, 'Preoccupation with Israel in the British media: Reporting of Israel, Egypt, Libya and Tunisia prior to the Arab Spring', which quantified the extent of over-concentration on Israel.

Just Journalism is entirely reliant on donations from supporters, all of which go towards funding the day-to-day running of the organisation. This includes the production of daily content, op-eds, and longer research projects, which attract national and international coverage.
