Private Schools to Join UK's Strike Day

'Millions of children will face closed schools on June 30 following the vote by members of the National Union of Teachers (NUT) and the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) to stage industrial action in protest at the government's plans to make changes to the pensions' system, British media reported. 

According to the report, 600,000 teachers and lecturers are involved in the strike action, which is likely to be repeated in the autumn. 

The industrial action was approved after the members of the NUT registered a 92 percent vote in favor.'
