On every border and from almost every direction, Israel faces increased threats. Only in Jordan has the situation remained stable. But there’s one other factor that adds to all of the above problems:
United States: Israel cannot depend on the current president or government for full support. No matter how much one obfuscates, apologizes or ignores this factor and however one interprets it, the problem is undeniable. It is not a problem for Prime Minister Netanyahu personally or for the Likud party; it is a problem for Israel as a whole.
On a regional level, revolutionary Islamism is gaining power and advancing. Regarding Israel-Palestinian matters, President Obama has moved further from Israel than any U.S. president in more than a half-century. What would the United States do if Hezbollah or Hamas attacked Israel? If Egypt abrogated — formally or even just in practice — the peace treaty?

A petition entitled "Jordan is Palestine" was delivered on May 24, on the occasion of Jordanian Independence Day, to the Jordanian Embassy in Israel. The Petition Leader is a Member of Knesset, Professor Arieh Eldad, chairman of the Hatikva Party of the National Union Knesset Faction. The recent revolutions in Arab countries of the Middle East prove that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not the main problem of the region. Any attempts to force Israel to create or accept a Palestinian State in the West Bank and Gaza will only enhance the instability in this region. The world community is experiencing growing frustration in the face of the recurrent failures to resolve this conflict. These failures are the result of a miss-diagnosis of the roots of the conflict. If it was in fact a territorial conflict between two nations over a piece of land, the logical solution of division of the land would be the true cure to the conflict and could have been achieved long ago. But this conflict is not a territorial conflict, but a religious war – a clash of ideologies. As such, the Palestinians will never be ready to recognize Israel as a Jewish State and declare the end of the conflict.
Nevertheless, the world community wants to grant the Palestinians a state in an attempt to end the conflict. Such results can be achieved only if the world-community recognizes the historical, demographic and geopolitical fact that the Palestinians already have a state in Jordan. Jordan is the national state of the Palestinians. It was created by giving the Arabs 75% of the area that was allocated to become the Jewish Homeland by the League of Nations in San Remo after World War 1. It is also important to remember that some 80% of the Jordanian citizens today are Palestinians. As King Hussein – the late father of King Abdulla the 2nd -- said time and again: "Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan."
Professor MK Arieh Eldad, Chairman of Hatikva Party (part of the National Union Knesset Faction) has launched an international Internet petition signed so far by more than 6,000 people from all around the globe, calling on King Abdulla to declare Jordan as the National Palestinian State. If he chooses not to do so, he may find himself confronting his citizens in Amman's streets and circles within Jordanian society that will demand it. The petition will be delivered to the Jordan Embassy in Israel on May 24th, on the occasion of the Jordanian Independence Day. On that same day, similar petitions will be delivered to Jordanian Embassies in the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Norway, the Netherlands and Slovakia.
We are sure that "Jordan is Palestine" is the only realistic alternative to the failing "Two States" solution.

Ukraine's president is campaigning to bring his country into the EU. But the Islamist threat to Ukraine has been ignored for over a decade. Imagine the future: Islamizing Turkey and Ukraine, with a rapidly growing and radicalizing Muslim population, inside the EU. It would mean Europe's end. But another confrontation could lead to a potentially catastrophic clash with Turkey, Iran's Islamizing ally--a former American ally promoted by the Obama administration as some sort of model for oxymoronic "Islamic democracy."
Foreign Confidential believes Turkey and Iran have hatched a plot to destroy Israel. The outline of the evil scheme includes, in addition to naval clashes, cross-border riots; UN recognition of a Palestinian state; and pressure for US and European, Libya-inspired intervention--against Israel--in order to "protect" Palestinians. As crazy as that may seem, anti-Israel intervention has been proposed by a key Obama advisor, Samantha Power; and another advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, is practically committed to Israel's elimination.
Not for nothing are Hezbollah, an Iranian proxy, and Hamas, a Muslim Brotherhood branch, amassing rockets and ballistic missiles capable of leveling Israeli cities and towns.
Not for nothing is Iran developing nuclear warheads to match its long-range missiles.
Not for nothing has Syria stockpiled chemical warheads for its missiles.
Not for nothing has Turkey twice threatened Israel over the flotilla.
