If Michelle Bachman is against it, NJDC is for it—no matter how loathsome.

Bachmann “Does Not Hesitate” to Sign Offensive Pledge by Ariela Fleisig reinforces our long-held belief that the National Jewish Democratic Councilhas no decency, character, or honor whatsoever. It is now on record as supporting Sharia, single-family parenting (as desirable as opposed to an unfortunate necessity that might be caused by loss of a parent), and even violence against women because Michelle Bachmann signed a pledge that opposes these things.
Fleisig opens her article as follows. We have highlighted the key part.
Presidential candidate Representative Michele Bachmann (R-MN) signed a highly offensive pledge advanced by the Iowa social conservative group The Family Leader. The pledge insensitively compares childrearing by single parents and same-sex couples to slavery, declares homosexuality a public health risk and compares it to polygamy, polyandry, and adultery, rejects a...

Obama is a Marxist
Ted Belman
Three years ago, I wrote Obama’s Marxist connection . It contained a full indictment of his Marxist/Communist beliefs and associations
On July 3/11, American Thinker published a major article, Obama’s Final Solution, in which James Lewis, see below, identified Obama as a Marxist.
The next day Commentary published a major article by Douglas Feith in which he identified Obama Doctrine as follows,
The Obama doctrine emerges from the conviction that in the new post-Cold War, post-9/11, post–George W. Bush world, the United States cannot and should not exercise the kind of boldness and independence characteristic of its foreign policy in the decades after World War II. That view runs roughly as follows: traditional ideas of American leadership serving American interests abroad are not a proper guide for future conduct. They have spawned crimes and blunders—in Iran in the early 1950s, then in Vietnam, and recently in Iraq, for example. To prevent further...
Political Islam: Caesar and God as One
Posted by Bill Levinson
American Thinker, July 10 2011
Many ancient societies believed that a magician who knew a person’s true or secret name could wield power over that person. Cavendish’s Legends of the World (1989) elaborates, "In magic, the name of a thing IS the thing. … he name contains in itself the essence of the animal’s being, the quality which makes it what it is and not something else." In Ursula Le Guin’s A Wizard of Earthsea, nobody reveals his or her "True Name"; rather, everyone goes by a nickname for everyday use. Political Islam similarly conceals its true or secret name behind the everyday name of "religion."
…Political Islam thrives because it is very bad manners to attack another person’s religion — indeed, some European countries have enacted laws to criminalize "defamation of religion." Religion therefore equips political Islam with a shield or...
Irving Berlin’s “God Bless America”
I first posted this about a year ago. Since then half a million people have come hear to listen to it.
Here Is a Real Star. In case you don’t know it, this is the person that is referred to as “The Fat Lady” in the trite verbalization of “It’s not over till the fat lady sings”.
Kate Smith was born and grew up in Columbia, Missouri . In early 1940, Kate Smith, a fiercely patriotic American, and the biggest star on radio, was deeply worried about her country.
She asked Irving Berlin if he could give her a song that would re-ignite the spirit of American patriotism and faith. He said he had a song that he had written in 1917, but never used it.
So, they agreed that any money that would be made off the song would be donated to the Boy Scouts of America . Thanks...
PA’s Kiss of Death for Abdallah
Jordan’s King Abdullah is clearly worried about the future direction of his country – if developments over recent weeks are any indication.
His Majesty told the Washington Post on 16 June:
“2011 will be, I think, a very bad year for peace, Although we will continue to try to bring both sides to the table, I am the most pessimistic I have been in 11 years.”
Whilst the Palestinian Authority refuses to resume negotiations with Israel – any hope of peacefully resolving sovereignty in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza will deteriorate and the King‘s pessimism will become self-fulfilling.
The absence of any such negotiations impacts on Jordan (known as Transjordan until 1950) because of its following historic, geographic and demographic ties with the West Bank...
Lieberman says Turkey ‘shut the door’ on rapprochement
FM says Erdogan not looking for normalization, rather he wants to “humiliate Israel and harm our status in the region”; Zvi Hauser: “Improving relations with Turkey is an Israeli interest.”
JERUSALEM – Turkey’s leader has “shut the door” on reconciliation with Israel by insisting it end the Gaza blockade and apologize for storming a Turkish ship sailing towards the Palestinian enclave, Foreign Minister Avidor Lieberman said Sunday.
But in a possible reflection of disagreement within Israel’s coalition government, another official said rapprochement talks continued with Turkey ahead of the publication of a UN report which Israel has predicted will largely vindicate its actions.
U.S. backs Lebanon on maritime border dispute with Israel
In the next few days Israel will submit to the United Nations its take on where its maritime economic border with Lebanon should be, as the two countries scramble for gas reserves estimated to be worth billions of dollars.
Israel’s position is due to be approved by the cabinet on Sunday; Jerusalem argues that Lebanon’s proposal includes major areas belonging to Israel.
