While Barack Obama celebrates the overthrow of Libya's tyrant, following an unnecessary U.S. and European intervention in Libya's civil war--on the side of Al Qaeda-linked rebels--Islamist Iran is spitting in Obama's face by holding two innocent Americans hostage. Shades of Jimmy Carter....
Although he authorized the commando raid that killed Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden, Obama will be remembered as the U.S. President who appeased Iran and allowed it to acquire atomic arms, assisted the Islamist takeover of Egypt and Libya (whose lunatic leader had actually abandoned weapons of mass destruction and sponsorship of international terrorism pursuant to a deal with Washington), and encouraged the emergence of a Turkish, neo-Ottoman, Islamist empire.
Question: Why don't we ever hear about the East Bank?
Answer: Because the Hashemite Kingdom-controlled East Bank of the river Jordan is the Arab state in historic Palestine, inhabited mainly by people who consider themselves Palestinians; but the Obama administration and Europe are obsessed with forcing Israel to withdraw from the disputed territories of the river's western bank in order to create a "contiguous Palestinian state" consisting of those lands, the eastern portion of Jerusalem--capital of Israel and the Jewish people--and the already Palestinian-run Gaza Strip.

Khadafy's son has reportedly been captured by rebel forces; and the Libyan regime's end is near, as reported here. But the key question is: After Khadafy, what?
The answer, most likely, is an Islamist regime, which is why the support for the rebels by the Obama administration and NATO is incredibly stupid. Thanks to the United States and Europe, the arc of radical Islam will soon extend from Libya, Tunisia, and Egypt to Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq. Israel is all that stands in the way of an Islamized Middle East, under Turkish, Muslim Brotherhood, and Iranian dominance.
This morning post on Iran's proxy mini-missile war with Israel prompted an intense discussion among Foreign Confidential™ analysts and correspondents. Their consensus: Iran has a five-year plan to destroy Israel, and Barack Obama's reelection is part of the plan.
Foreign Confidential™ analysts assert the nuclear-arming turbaned tyranny would prefer to make good on its threats to eradicate the Jewish State while Obama is in office, seeing him as a Jimmy Carter-like Useful Idiot of Appeasement, a wannabe leader of "the Muslim world," and a postmodern, pseudo-Third World Socialist, whose weakness and obsessions, incompetence, and ideological baggage and biases will prevent the United States from coming to Israel's aid during is most dire crisis. Obama is Iran's ideal Presidential candidate next to the (thankfully) marginal GOP hopeful, Ron Paul, whose extreme isolationism, hostility to Israel, and support for Iran's "right" to develop both civilian nuclear power and nuclear weapons has made him a bizarre crossover candidate--someone capable of appealing to diverse radical and anti-Semitic groups, ranging from neo-Nazis and Ku Kluxers to ultra-leftists.
In addition to an Obama second term, the key elements of the Iranian plan include:
"Bin Laden, who was born into a wealthy Saudi family, was publicly denounced by the government and had his citizenship removed, but ... this was a subterfuge aimed at the gullible, designed to cover a continuing clandestine relationship."
Now, Iran is using Gaza-based Palestinian proxies to wage a mini-missile war against Israel. The conflict is a kind of dress rehearsal for the big showdown with Israel that Iran is planning to stage with the help of its Hitlerian, Lebanese Islamist proxy, Hezbollah--namely, a massive missile bombardment of Israeli cities and towns, including Tel Aviv and Haifa.
Not for nothing has Iran repeatedly vowed to "burn Tel Aviv" and attack Israel's Negev nuclear facility. Not for nothing has Hezbollah amassed an arsenal of missiles capable of striking all over Israel. Not for nothing is Iran developing long-range and intercontinental missiles--and nuclear bombs and warheads. Not for nothing have Iran and North Korea developed and tested cleverly concealed, cargo vessel-based ballistic missile launch systems ... and so on and so forth.
Rockets and nukes are the weapons Iran intends to use in order to realize its Nazi-like dream of "a world without America and Zionism."
And the appeasers and sympathizers, supporters and dupes are still in denial....
Libyan rebels--Islamists backed, incredibly, by the United States and Europe--are closing in on Libya's capital, Tripoli. And America's first Muslim-born-and-reared President, Barack Hussein Obama, an alien and mysterious figure who is clearly obsessed with promoting political and overlapping organized and state Islam, is being briefed on the unfolding nightmare while vacationing on one of the Eastern Establishment's liberal paradises.
